I have my Buzzle, now what?

lol Random title I know, but I'm kind of at a loss now. I just spent the last few hours hunting for eggs. It was sorta fun, but mostly mind numbing because I was doing nothing else. lol But, it also gave me a few hours distraction from the fact that I feel like I'm dying from this plague my nephew's babies gave me. (Isn't that something. 4 months and 18 months and they're handling the stupid chest cold better than I am. XD) Anyway, I've got this egg and I don't even know if I want it. I'm betting probably not. While on the one hand I'm considering selling it, on the other hand, I'm thinking about just giving it away when it's over to some poor soul who couldn't find all of the eggs in time and really wants one. I don't come here near as much as I used to. I just don't have the time. (Except when I'm really sick apparently. lol) So, EC really doesn't mean much to me. Besides, I have quite a bit saved up already.

There's also the travels. I found a couple while hunting eggs. And was given another when I finished. Don't want those either. That I know for a fact. Again, I've got the options of giving them away to some poor soul, or selling them. Or maybe I could do some kind of contest. Hmmm.

I dunno... what do you guys think I should do? (And don't go for the easy "Give them to me!" because that's just not as funny as you think. lol)

Gonna go binge on Finding Carter now. (That's the best thing about being sick. I can curl up in my favorite blanket and watch stuff on the DVR without anyone nagging that I should be doing something else. Not that there's anyone home at the moment to do it... lol) I'll pop back in a little later and see if anyone's come up with a good suggestion for me. 😊

I'm not asking for ya ta give em to me but would you take EC or immortalizing or something for the travels?
I wasn't sure if ya meant don't ask to give for free only or if it entailed don't ask to trade em to me either.
Sorry if ya meant both o3o Just wasn't sure so thought I'd ask if ya would.

Nice of ya ta think about giving em away though c: If ya meant both and I shouldn't have asked if you'd trade then maybe a contest for the Buzzle and travels for maybe only the players that didn't get em x3 Like a feeding contest or somethin

I advise at least giving the Buzzle away for free, though several months or even a year after the event. It is often hard for newbies to obtain rare creatures due to their lack of valuable creatures to trade and lower amounts of 🪙. Still, and I'm not trying to stereotype since we were all newbies once, I advise you to be cautious when selecting a newbie. Some newbies quit early on and leave their creatures to die, so I advise picking one who's been on for at least a month.

I remember that when I was new, a quitting user gave me a bunch of retired creatures for around 1k each. I received a Baku, Weggy, Kaihon, Kampos, Pami, Quinnit, Kinka, and Demga. I was very grateful, and I believe that future newbies would be grateful for a Buzzle. 😊

@immortalraven Well, I was talking about the travels too. I don't really need EC. I've got so many travels I just don't want and I know I could sell them, but I'm clueless about values, and again, I just don't need the EC. I like the idea of doing a contest, but as I'm here so rarely, I wouldn't know what to do that would be fair, and not get completely lost in my once daily visit. I'd hate to set something up, then lose track of it. Could make quite a few people angry. lol

@kisamari I'm not looking for EC. I've got over 10 million now that I don't need. lol Don't give up on looking. I managed to find them all in one afternoon after all. If you have the time, go through the archives. Each and every creature. That's where I found most of mine. The last 4 I got by refreshing the Thief Shop several times. Only took a few minutes. You could try that way.

@despair I'm not looking to trade. There's not really any travels I want, and the creatures I want are worth more than a travel or two.

@lykhaos117 Those are some very good points. I've noticed the tendency of new players to come, stay for a while, get frustrated/bored and then leave all their creatures to die. Which breaks my heart. It's way too easy to give them away after all. If I ever quit, I'd give away my creatures and travels first. I'll be sure to find someone that plans on staying. And even then I'll make them promise to give the critter away if they decide to leave.

Sorry I didn't come back last night to reply, guys. This cold really is beating me down pretty bad. (And apparently I'm not the only one. Saw my sister-in-law when I was at the store for more cold meds this afternoon. The babies have gotten the whole extended family sick. lol They believe in sharing. XD)

I think what I'm going to do is give it a few weeks, then hold a contest. I'll think of the way in the meantime. I'm thinking maybe getting my Callas hatched (because this is taking forever. lol) via contest. Hatch one for the Buzzle and hatch the other for the travels.

If you wanted I could help keep track of points or whatever and you just give the winners the prizes at a set date you'd want to end it for like a feeding contest or something if ya are worried of not being able to keep track. Like you could start the topic and set the rules and such and I could be the 2nd post keeping track of points and if people abide by the rules ya set, like if they did or didn't get em. I'm on everyday and it wouldn't be too much for me to keep track of it c:

@immortalraven Thanks a lot. I really appreciate that. And I really do like the idea of helping out the poor souls that didn't get all the eggs in time. As the new blog said, this year was certainly the hardest yet. For a while even I thought I'd never make it. Of course, I did them all at once at the last minute, but still. lol I'll let you know what I came up with for a contest. While I like the idea of using this to hatch my Callas, I think that'd take too long. I may do a feed contest for large coves. As mine are all in Tim's I don't worry about them any more. I'd have to find someone(s) to use as the cove to be fed.

@kisamari That's got to be frustrating. I know what it's like to try until the last minute for a LE egg and never get it. Happens to me all the time. lol Watch the trade center and auctions. People will be trading and selling those things now that the hunt is over. And I'm still working on a contest, so you have a chance there.

Lol, I found last year's to be harder and a lot of others thought that toot hat remember last years. I believe there was less time span for it last year too, but not sure, forgot. I think hey just said that cause so many complained this year. More people joined and came back from the last time and so there was more whining and complaining. Less people completed last year's than this one o3o I think not many had that much time and wanted it to be really easy like when they were in the same place for everyone. It shouldn't be all that easy to get but not too hard. Maybe it should be a little easier than this years but I really think last years was the hardest I've done.
Mmk, I'll be waiting. And maybe do some dying coves? Small cove worth less points to feed all. Big cove more points. They have the option of which to feed and they have to say which?

@immortalraven I don't remember last year's hunt. All I know for sure was that this year's took more effort on my part than last year's did. I remember the year before, my first one, it was super easy. Of course, someone posted in the forums where to find them all. lol
Right, that sounds about like what I'd do. The trouble would be verifying that people actually fed these coves when they claimed to have done so. I suppose I'd just have to trust everyone to be honest.

@immortalraven Personally I think they need to find a happy medium between what it was and what they made it this year. It wasn't so much that it was hard, but the numbers were ridiculous. And searching for such tiny eggs is not easy on those of us with truly crummy eyesight. (My contacts can only do so much for me.) Maybe increase the egg size a bit and it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe I'll make a suggestion.

Yeah, I thought of that, but if a lot of people feed the same cove, you're only going to get to see the most recent feeds. I guess it really would have to be a honor system if it came down to that.
