Inept wasn't surprised when the boy leapt out of the tree to get away from him, but he sighed anyway, slightly disappointed and a bit lonely. Being somewhat of a dork, people often avoided Inept for fear that it would rub off on them or something.

Opening his eyes a crack, he saw the boy leaving the area. "Geez, why do I bother putting down the controller?" he asked himself in a low voice, not in the mood to enjoy nature anymore. Standing up, Inept walked off toward his apartment, habitually looking downward as he shuffled along, wondering which game he should play when he got home. Just then, he smacked clumsily into someone. It was Sassy, though he didn't know much about the girl; Inept had only seen her in class.

"U-um, I'm sorry...!" he stammered, regaining his composure. "I-I wasn't looking where I was going, it's my fault."

Someone bumped into me, causing me to lose my balance. Steadying myself, I glanced back, to see Inept, who was apologising.
"Haha it's fine, don't worry," I cracked a smile. "So, are you going home, now?"

Since everyone seemed to be going, I decided to, too.
"Bye byeeee everyone!" I skipped off. Sassy had already gone without me. Since we were next-door neighbours, we always went home together. But, for some reason today she'd hurried off. I hoped she was okay. I broke into a run, trying to see if I could catch up to her. Then I stopped. She was just ahead, talking to a boy. I hadn't seen him before, but immediately wanted to know more. I tried to hide out of sight, but still listened to their conversation.

Personality: Not shy, but always worries about everything and is stressed out.
Any special powers: He can receive prophecies of what is to come, that is one of the reasons he is so stressed.

Nervous:
I walked out of school and saw Envy behind me. I quickly let her pass so she wouldn't take anything from me. Or what if she thought less of me? After she walked by, I ran out into the school's courtyard. I walked over to Rudeness. "Uh, hey, uh, Rudeness."

Envy:
"Finally, school is OVER!" I said to myself as I walked out of the school and into the courtyard. I saw Love's favorite tree and cringed. She was SO perfect. How come she got all the boys and beauty and awesome powers?! It wasn't fair!!! I saw Sassy, Annoying, and Moody. I walked over to them.

"Ah, yeah. That's what I was going to do anyway, but I'm not so sure." Inept admitted, noticing Envy walk over to the group he'd bumped into. He shifted nervously, not really sure how to carry on a normal conversation. Inept was afraid that one of the things he was bad at was chatting in general.

He couldn't help noticing that Sassy was very pretty and his cheeks felt warm at the thought, though he shook his head to dismiss the idea, knowing any girl was out of his league; not to mention better off if they weren't associated with such a clumsy guy.

"So... what are you up to?" he asked in attempt to break the awkward silence.

Class had ended some time ago, but this didn't mean much to Apathy who was so immersed in his work that he'd barely noticed the last bell ring and his peers packing up and take off. Now the young man was left alone to type code on a school computer with the contents of his backpack spread over his desk, several notebooks turned to relevant pages, pencils and markers scattered around so chaotically that he could barely find anything in the mess. A steady tune was playing from his headphones, connected to a small, somewhat dated phone that never left his pocket other than when he needed to check specific web pages for new content or turn on a song he felt like listening to. The school was a peaceful place after most of the students left and Apathy appreciated it, he could concentrate better without any distractions.

He was only half way done with his current project when he noticed someone enter the room, the person halted near the door and he could sense their glare fall on him before he could even turn enough to see their face. The mop and cleaning agents the middle aged woman carried were an obvious hint to why she was there but even without them Apathy would had recognized her as one of the cleaning ladies who usually tended to that classroom. It wasn't the first time one of them had to chase him out and force him to go home, or anywhere else, it didn't matter to them as long as he was out of the facility. It was fortunate that the blond youth noticed the female approach since she had on one occasion, when he hadn't heard her due to the headphones and ignored her, threatened to soak him with a bucket of water. She'd been dead serious so it was no wonder Apathy became uneasy every time she caught him at the computer so long after school was done for the day.

-"Just a minute." He informed in a monotone voice that resembled the emotionless droning of a machine and the usual, plastic smile creeped onto his lips. Perhaps he was trying to be polite but to the woman who still stood waiting, his expression was plain eerie and she couldn't wait for the student to take his leave.

Apathy collected all of his supplies from the desk quickly considering how much miscellaneous objects had been spilled over the wooden surface. He stuffed everything into his backpack without following any order and was only concerned with not forgetting anything, his attention was still primarily on the monitor where the code of his program was displayed. He read through the material one more time and his lips moved subtly, speaking the lines in an inaudible whisper. He hovered over the close button with the cursor, feeling that he should hurry but another few minutes passed before he could actually exit the room since he also had to send everything he'd accomplished that day to his own PC and then power down the one he'd just been working on.

Finally, with everything taken care of, Apathy made his way outside. It somewhat intrigued him to hind he wasn't the only one still there and as he slowly crossed the courtyard he openly observed the other students. A soft, friendly smile remained on his face but his eyes analyzed them with a cold, calculated shine.

I sighed, trying to take my mind off what had happened earlier. I just couldn't get the image of Rudeness out of my head? No. We were over.
"Sassy! Wait up!"
I looked back. Curious was running towards me, looking beaten.
"Huh, sorry for not waiting, kid," I ruffled his hair. I noticed that he had a slight pink tinge to his cheeks. Hmm. Curious glanced at Inept.
"Is this your new boyfriend?"
"HUH?!" I almost jumped. "No, he's just in one of my classes... this is Inept, Curious. Inept, Curious is my next-door neighbour," I explained.

"Uh, hey, uh, Rudeness." said a boy with brown hair and brown eyes.

"What'da ya want, Nervous?" I asked him. The boy quailed and I scowled. "Sorry. Hello to ya to."

I looked over tot eh bench to see everyone leaving and sighed. It seemed Sassy and Inept were getting along.

'You still like her?' asked the voice.

I growled a little and folded my arms across my chest. I frowned at Nervous again and said, "Sorry bud, but I have to get going. My dad's gonna be mad."

With that I left the slightly quivering Nervous and started to walk home, a scowl across my face and my posture stiff.

I pulled harder on my caterpault, stretching the fake dog poo to point at the three figures wandering down the path. And...FIRE!!
The dog poo sailed through the air and landed with a big SPLAT it one of the girl's hair. she screamed and spun around. Her sister then plucked the toy from her sibling's hair.
"Stop screaming Envy, it's fake. Some little wretch wants to prank us."
I froze.
My mind was whirling as the triplets stalked towards my hiding place. Was it possible that I had just hit the three bullies Hate, Envy and Jealousy? No It wasn't possible. This was just a dream. A very bad dream.
//WAKE UP!!!// I told myself. //THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!!!//

But it seemed too real to be just a nightmare. I could feel my heart thumping in my chest as I jumped out and ran.

So @audrei9 and I were talking the other day, and we thought we might bring in some antagonists! Or just some people that want to ruin everybody's day 😋 But anyway, we thought of those three triplets. Probably going to change Envy to something else, since it's pretty similar to Jealousy, and @izziebee1017 already taken it (no don't worry, keep your character, Izzie!)

"Ah... ok... nice to meet you too!" I said, glancing sideways at Sassy. She still seemed a little distracted. Perhaps I could ask her later.

'Curious... what the heck,' I thought. We should probably go before Curious scared Inept away.
"Sorry, we gotta hurry," I said hastily to Inept. "See you tomorrow!"
I half-dragged Curious with me.
"Geez, Curious, where on earth did that question come from?" I asked incredulously. "Anyway, let's go home."
I waited for one of Curious's funny responses. It didn't come. I bent down to see if he was okay, but he seemed to be examining me instead.
"Are you okay, Sassy?"
Now he was serious. I sighed and ran my hands through my hair, like I always did when I was thinking hard or if something was sort of upsetting me.
"Guess it's no point in lying. No, I'm not okay. But you gotta figure out why, by yourself." I smirked. "Sorry, kid. It's just that you're still 5."
Then we continued on our comfortably quiet journey home.

"Yeah, you too!" Inept called as Sassy hurried away, most likely feeling as embarrassed as he did about Curious' question. He pondered the whole exchange for a moment, wondering if maybe they could be friends despite his clumsiness. A goofy grin shone on his face at the thought, and he started home again on a happier note.

New friends... what an amazing thing that would be to happen to someone like himself.

@audrei9 So is the prank going to be real or a dream? Also, awesome idea for the triplets thing! Is it ok if I add this: Hate and Jealousy can be controlled by everyone, but they have aren't as popular or pretty as Envy. Also, Envy is slightly less-mean than Jealousy and Hate. 😊

I squealed as I felt something squishy land n my head. DOG POOP!!! "Stop Envy, it's fake." Hate said unsympathetically. "Some little wretch just wants to prank us." I looked in the direction the fake poop had came from. Glaring into the sun I could scarcely see Mischief hiding behind a bush with a small catapault in her hands. "MISCHIEF!" I screamed angrily. I ran over to her with Hate and Jealousy behind me.

Looks: Has long, brown hair that falls beyond her shoulders. She has quiet shoes that never make a sound. She wears dark clothes and blends in with the crowd. She has a small, brown-and-dark-green bag where she holds all sorts of random small things. She has almond shaped, brown eyes. She has a small smile she normally wears that looks good with any outfit. Every part of her is small.
Personality (give a little more info - sorry, the name just isn't enough ): She is very quiet and shy. She normally looks down but she is also observant. She can normally tell if someone is sad and she tries to comfort them. She hardly ever talks and it is a wonder to hear her pretty voice. In class she almost never answers(in other words she is VERY shy).
Any special powers: If someone uses their power on her that makes her do whatever is asked of her she can choose what to do and what not to do. The other powers of people don't affect her. She can also sneak around very well and her power helps that. Another thing she can do is that if she throws a small thing up into the air, she can create a portal to anywhere and go through it. She has a special way of going through and at the last second grabbing the object so she can take it with her. The portal is immediately destroyed when she goes through. She can also control it with a flick of her hand. if she wishes, she can also make it invisible to everyone but her or everyone but her and some people she chooses to see it, who can also use it.

Moody and Annoying looked around. They both wanted to leave for home soon. Moody noticed the triplets walking, somewhere. She couldn't tell for sure. Well, actually, it looked like Envy was running. She tapped Annoying. "Maybe we should leave now," she said, and Annoying replied with"No, I think we should stay." He looked at Moody and said"Of course we should leave! Lettuce go, before they see us!" Moody rolled her eyes and started going home. Annoying followed her. Moody noticed Mischief and went over to him. "Do you know where they are going? Or why they seem so angry?"'since with them, it's hard to tell' she finished in her head. While Moody waited for an answer from Mischief, Annoying continued going home. He stared at all of the people he saw on his way home in a weird way. Quiet went out of the building, after meeting with her teachers. She needed to ask them about something and she was too shy to do it in class. Luckily the teachers understood her. She noticed Moody talking to Mischief and the triplets approaching. She decided to walk behind the triplets, close enough to hear Moody and Mischief, and far enough away for no one to see her. She stood, waiting for them to talk. She threw a ball she had found up in the air and created a portal invisible to everyone else. She had it there in case she had to make a quick getaway. She just felt safer with it there. Moody was still staring at Mischief and she pointed at him. She got the words 'truthful' and 'talkative' in her head. She thought 'Just to be safe, I'll use my power and make him tell the truth and tell me what it is' and got truthful and talkative back in her mind. She continued pointing at him and stomped her foot. Her power kicked into action. All of this took a matter of seconds. Quiet noticed this and thought 'That's a cool power' an promised to congratulate Moody on it, when she was alone and not feeling so shy. Quiet continued sneaking around and her portal followed her. She felt tense, ready to jump in the portal and back home. She was also hungry, so she was even more ready. She moved her portal forward with a flick of her hand and put a rock in her purse. "I hope they don't see me' she thought.

We arrived at Sassy's house. Or, should I say, part mansion. It had 3 stories, 7 rooms, (Sassy had quite a large family), 3 bathrooms and 3 garages. Along with 2 study rooms. Huge. Apparently, I had had to go over so that Sassy could 'help me with my homework'. Though I didn't need any help, I knew we would just end up chatting about random things. After greeting Sassy's mother, Sweet, I started going up to Sassy's room. I looked back. Sassy was standing there looking at me, with a raised eyebrow.
"Don't go up yet, we gotta chat to everyone first, ha," she smirked.
"Oh, ok."
I started going down the stairs again. Then I felt a squeeze on my shoulder, and I looked behind to see Sarcastic, Sassy's younger sister.
"Hey, Curious."
"Hi!"
Sitting down at the table to eat with Nonchalant (Sassy's older brother), Stubborn (older sister), Naive (younger brother), Sarcastic, Sweet and Sassy, the only person absent was Sassy's father, Noble. Yeah, you might have noticed that all the females' names started with 'S' and all the males with 'N'. It used to be a tradition in Sassy's family (apparently) - females all have the same lettered names, and vice versa, but then it eventually faded. Their family still followed it along as a little joke, though. As we were having chocolate brownies, the phone had a call.
"I'll get it," Sassy got up. I heard her from the other room, murmuring, "Hello? Oh, hello, Pristine. You want... it's urgent? Ok, I'll tell him. Thanks, bye."
She came back, frowning a little.
"Curious, you gotta go, for some reason. Your mum said it was urgent."
"O...k..." I said slowly. "Did she say what happened?"
"No, just asked for you to go over as soon as possible."
I packed my back quickly, then went next door, thanking Sweet and saying goodbye in the process. I opened the door to my home.
"Mum? What's wrong, mum?" I peered at my mother closely. She looked distraught.
"You... you've heard that your father's sister has been very ill, haven't you?" her voice trembled. I had. Jolly was in hospital, being treated. I nodded. "She... she has passed away this afternoon. We will be attending her funeral next week."
The shock was like a blow to my head. Jolly, my favourite aunt... gone? No way. That couldn't be possible. But it seemed to be the case. My world was slowly crumbling apart. Another loved one lost...

Moody followed Mischief and saw the triplets. She thought 'maybe I should go' she thought, and ran away. She hoped that the triplets didn't see her, but they did, but Hate and Jealousy ignored her. Quiet noticed this and went through her portal. She grabbed her ball and went through the portal. She appeared next to Moody and said "Hi. I thought it wasn't safe there anymore, so I left," and Moody replied "I didn't see you when you looked back. You must have been hidden well. I didn't think it was safe, either." Quiet opened a portal that only Moody could see and said, "Want to come home with me?" Moody nodded and jumped through the portal. Quiet followed and got the object. When they arrived, they saw an old house. It needed paint and fixing badly. The only thing that didn't seem to belong was the flower garden. Moody asked "Is anyone home?" Quiet replied, saying "I have parents, but I am the only child. They aren't home after school so I am at my home alone." Quiet led her in and showed her inside. It was a small house, with a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and two bedrooms. They all were on the first floor and were a little bit messy. in the small living room, there was a couch, a computer on a desk, board games, puzzles, and toys on the floor, and a TV with a table in front of it. The kitchen had kitchen appliances scattered around. the bedrooms had a bed and random things they needed to store. "My mom's name is Silent and my dad's is Mysterious," Quiet said.

Annoying walked by the house on his way home and took no notice of it at first. Then he noticed lights and some figures inside. He knocked and said "Anybody home?" Quiet and Moody didn't notice at first because they were still talking. Then Moody heard some more knocking and went to the door. She opened it and saw Annoying, who had been waiting patiently. Quiet stayed a few feet behind. "Hello, Annoying," Moody said. "Do you live here?" Annoying asked. Moody shook her head and said "No. You've seen my house," and Annoying pictured it. "Who lives here, then?" he asked. Quiet moved closer and came into view. "I do," she said quietly. Annoying replied "Oh. I thought it was abandoned," and Quiet said "I was just in a place you couldn't see." Annoying continued home. "Would you like to come to my house?" Moody asked. Quiet created a portal to Moody's house. Moody jumped through, and so did Quiet. Moody's mom and dad greeted them into their house. Quiet stayued a while, and went back home with a portal since her parents would soon be home, and said "Bye. I have to go now," and left.

I let Hate and Jealousy go after Mischief. I decided to go over to Love's tree. I climbed up. Pretty comfortable. But I got down anyway, I don't want anyone thinking I'm friends with Love. I shudder at the thought. I just decide to walk home and wait until tomorrow.

Quiet made a portal to Moody's house and went through. " Let's go to school together," Quiet said. She made a portal to school with an old tile she had found and Moody went through. Quiet went through, retrieving the tile. They walked out from behind the tree and walked the rest of the way to school together. "I like your power," Quiet said. Moody smiled as Annoying quietly went up behind them. he tapped Moody on the right shoulder and moved. He kept repeating this. Moody caught him on the third time of doing this. She pointed at him, got 'ignorant of us' in her mind, and stomped her foot. He stopped annoying them. "Let's go, Quiet, before my power stops working," and grabbed Quiet's hand. Quiet found herself pulled as Moody started to go faster. Moody got into a run and said to Quiet "Your power....makes it.... easier to go... places!" as she was running. Annoying followed them behind. they all got to the school at roughly the same time

The next day, I honestly did not want to go to school. With the death of my beloved aunt. But I dragged myself out of bed, and to school. On the way to school, as I was shuffling towards my first class, I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Uh, sorry, wasn't looking where I was going..." I muttered.
