This is an RP a bit like a movie that will be out soon; Inside Out! 😸 So, you are a person with a personality that matches your name. For example: Someone called Cheerful would be cheerful/positive all the time, someone called Obnoxious would be obnoxious, et cetera et cetera 😋 And, you go to an academy full of students (ages 4 - 19 inclusive) just like you!

Yes, they can have a special power related to their name/personality. Hmm, like: Cheerful might have a power to blast people with cheerfulness for an hour? Heh, just anything that relates to their personality 😋 Please make sure that your character isn't perfect - every hero has a flaw, right? Oh! And also, you can have as many characters as you want, just so long as you can handle it.
You're free to join, anytime! So that this RP doesn't die, that's all. I really wanna get started on this; thought up the idea a long time ago, just was to lazy to create a topic o3o XD And one more thing: please, don't control other people's characters unless you have their permission.

Name: Sassy
Gender: Female
Age (4-19): 16
Looks: A cool, laughing smile (I know that doesn't make sense, but whatever XD), always ready to make a flashy comeback. Hazel eyes, red wavy hair (usually out) down to just above waist, actions that are a little cocky.
Personality: Sassy. Duh! Ok, I'll explain a little more -.- Innocent, yet you get this feeling that she's up to something that is a little too swag for school. May sound like she's flirting, sometimes, but that's what she does with everyone - she just sounds like that. Most of the time, she sounds like she doesn't care about most things, but she actually has a soft spot for shy people.
Any special powers: A snap of her fingers, and you'll be overwhelmed by her sass and stare dumbly into thin air, doing anything she says for the next 15 minutes. Is only able to work again 30 minutes after (so after she's done it once, has to wait another half hour)
Other: Her family consists of her, Mother (Sweet), Father (Noble), older brother (Nonchalant), older sister (Stubborn), younger sister (Sarcastic) and younger brother (Naive).

Looks: She is short and has long dark hair. It normally lays down her back and a bit in front of her shoulders. Her hair cascades to the middle of her back. She normally wears black leggings and t-shirts. She isn't noticed by many people.
Personality (give a little more info - sorry, the name just isn't enough ): Changes moods a lot and is shy
Any special powers: If she thinks about it and stomps her foot while pointing at someone else they can be in any mood she wants them to be an is protected from powers of people that have a name she hardly ever is and both last 5 minutes.(I'll tell you what those moods are)(I can change it a bit if it needs to be) After using it she has to wait ten minutes for it to work again.
Other: She does good in school

Gender: Female
Age (4-19): 15
Looks: Love has curls of pure white glossy tresses framing her pale face and accenting her diamond blue eyes. She wears a long pink dress with roses and in her hair is a rose. She has quite a curvy figure.
Personality : Very Flirty, loving and kind mostly but can come across too pushy and sassy sometimes. She loves anything cute and shiny but doesn't do well with scared people. Sometimes is positive but can turn negative and that is when she becomes sassy and rude.
Any special powers: She has a lovely singing voice like sugar and she chants a special song to boys which enables her to enchant them.
Other: She hates school. P.S.

Name: Rudeness (Nickname Rude)
Gender: Male
Age (4-19): 18
Looks: Sharp spikes of white hair around his pale face, red eyes and quite tall.
Personality : Rude, sassy, stand up to people, brave and over-confident. Always takes up on a job, is reckless and protective too.
Any special powers: Can create little orbs of anger and hurl them at things to blow up a place.
Other: Has a soft spot for Love and is a tsundere. (loves her but can't admit it and acts fierce instead.)

Looks: has golden hair that she keeps in a braid, it literally shimmers with light and floats around when there is no wind.
Personality: always proud of herself, elegant, but somethimes quick to anger when things that upset her happen ( except when people call her bad things )
Any special powers: No words will ever hurt her feelings, and she is really strong in her emotions.
Other: She hates eating fruit and is best friends with LOVE.

Ok, I'm gonna make a male character!
Name: Curious
Gender: Male
Age: 5
Looks: Big, round blue eyes, always looking up at you expectantly for an answer, messy blonde hair, innocent face that doesn't suggest he did anything wrong. And that's true.
Personality: Absolutely curious about almost everything. Always asking questions, and sometimes has an annoying habit of asking "Why?" to statements that just aren't meant to be asked about again. 😋 May seem a little stupid, but he's actually pretty smart from all that information he's been filled with, thanks to his endless questions. Also, he is very talkative. Very.
Any special powers: Can enchant you into answering any question he asks for 5 minutes, a little like a truth serum moment.
Other: Great friends with Sassy, usually spends time with her after school.

Looks: A short boy with curly, short, brown hair. He always has miss-matched clothes. he wears dirty old sneakers and normally has a smudge of dirt somewhere on him.
Personality (give a little more info - sorry, the name just isn't enough ): He's annoying and loves annoying people, girls especially, and normally succeeds at it. He hates shopping and will whine if he has to shop.
Any special powers: If he kicks in your general direction you won't do much except be able to follow orders. Your brain doesn't let you think much and you just stand there for 2 minutes staring off into space because he is so annoying.
Other: secretly likes Moody, but no one knows at all so he will annoy Moody even more.

End of the school day! Classes just ended! We're all filing out the door, when I hear a familiar voice, along with panting breaths and heavy footsteps.
"Sassy! What are you doing this afternoon?" Curious asks eagerly.
"Not much... why?" I say, a smile creeping onto my lips.
"I want you to meet someone! Her name's Love!"
Love? I knew her. And I didn't exactly want to be her friend. She seemed... a little too 'Lovely' for my taste. But I accepted anyway.
"Ok, sure," I shrugged. "When?"
"5:30! Yay! It's gonna be great! Wonder if you'll become best friends immediately... or do you already know her? I'm Curious to find out, any way!"
Sure, Curious was curious, but sometimes a little over excited as well. I was looking forward to the meeting, this evening... or was I?

{Annoying}
Annoying ran up and heard their conversation. "Maybe you'll love her," he said.'By the way, I'm coming." Moody came up too. "I'm not sure they want you there, Annoying," she said. Annoying kicked in her direction, but nothing happened. He was confused, but when he kicked in Sassy's direction, it worked(Can he also be able to kick again to reverse the effects?). He kicked back so she was back to normal. "Why didn't it work on you, Moody? Do you know? Answer me!" Annoying said. Moody replied "I'm not annoying very often," and Annoying replied"Is it only for me, or is it for everybody?" Moody rolled her eyes and thought you sound just like curious! She finally replied" I don't get affected by the powers of a person who's normal mood I don't have much, so, for example, yours, Annoying," and stayed (kicking at them and then for reversing it kicking again(like making them back to normal after him using his power on them(if you still don't understand we can talk about it somewhere else)))put to wait for someone else to talk to her. Annoying said"Oh, okay," and thought she is hard to annoy. How should I do it? Oh, I know! I'll talk to someone else! And her ran off to find someone else, leaving Moody with questions not answered. She was puzzled.

@ashlinnhi sure thing Ash! I was kinda gonna roleplay that out to be honest...😃 Oh and just saying, Rudeness has kinda had a rough childhood and he doesn't like most people or trust them. Except for a very lucky someone...(Love...❤️) And Love has a few hidden powers like the fact that she can create arrows out of thin air and tie something called a love string to it which is kinda like a spiritual power thing. 😃 I'll add that to the character thing. 😃 Oh and I use " " for speech and ' ' for thoughts, k?

Love:

School finished later than normal. It dragged on and only my charming ways helped me to stay in my lovely mood this day. I sashayed out into the hallway as class ended, my glossy white hair shimmering in the sunlight that poured over me. My long pink dress swayed over the floor and the rose in my hair smelled aromatic. I sauntered outside and over to a swing that hung from a tree, my favorite tree.

Placing my school bag beside me, I sat on the swing and stared into space, a grin spreading across my face. I recalled a few sweet songs I had uttered today to various boys and recalled their various reactions. From falling for me straight to turning mushy, nothing much changed.

'At least I managed to sweet-talk the teacher out of giving us any homework...'

A cool breeze danced around the deserted playground and I gave out a small sigh. Much as I tried, there was one person I had never really managed to get along with, and that was Sassy.

'That girl...always bossing people around, arguing and just...being sassy! Although I have to admit, part of me likes her...'

I gave another sigh and slowly started to swing whilst chanting my favorite song to myself. No one was around and this one was a song that I only sang to myself, it was purely a part of me and in another language I didn't learn. I just knew what it meant and it always raised my hopes and calmed me. I kept chanting, my words drifting through the wind like a lullaby, a forgotten melody unknown to most people.


Rudeness:

'Finally! School's over. Urgh...another day, another dollar. Only I don't get one. Urgh...I hate school.'

As the bell rang, most students poured out of the class and I got up and stomped out, already in a bad mood. Before anyone else, I bounded into a tree with a swing in it and sat on one of the tallest branches, paying little attention to the world around me.

'Sometimes...just sometimes, it's good to be alone.' I thought.

A little voice snickered inside my head in protest. 'Ah...but Rude, do you always enjoy this feeling?'

I pushed the thought away, remembering how as a child he had wanted to fit in but found it difficult to adjust to people's personalities and quit, following the path that he had...

'A path that strays away from others, and leaved you with nothing, am I right?' asked the voice again.

I tried to push the feeling away but my eyebrows came together in frustration and my lips stiffened into a frown. My hands clenched into two fists and I felt like taunting someone, or blasting a good comeback into someone's angry face.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice a young girl from my class come and sit on the swing. It was only when she started singing a sweet melody that I realized I wasn't alone. In another burst of frustration, I looked down from my branch to see who it was but it was only a girl.

'A beautiful girl...' mocked the little voice.

She was indeed beautiful. Locks of glossy white tresses hung down three quarters of her back in perfect curls, a beautiful rose dress was sitting on her and what looked like a rose was in her hair. I didn't see her face but something drew me to her.

'You aren't even fighting now, you know what you want...' sneered the voice again.

'Urgh...would you shut up?!' I though to myself, fighting on the inside. I stern look on my face, I concealed myself in the shadows and then called out to the sweet chanter down below.

"Oi, you there!" I yelled. The girl suddenly stopped singing and got up gracefully, looking around herself. "Hey you!"

The voice inside of me sighed and said, 'Why'd you always sound so rude?'

'Cause I am! Not shut up and get lost!'

'As you wish...' and I heard it no more.

The girl was still looking around when I yelled out again. "You down there, don't come near here!"

She turned around and stared at the tree where her gaze slowly drifted up to me. My heart skipped a beat as her brilliant blue eyes looked at my red ones. Her face was pale and her cheeks were rosy, her eyes a sapphire blue shade and her lips parted a little as she squinted up to where I was.

"Hey!" I cried again.

Instead of the usual sighs and gestures that people made when they saw me, the girl smiled and dropped her gaze, sitting back down on the swing.

Part of me wanted to shout again at her while the other part wanted to go down there and talk to her. The rude side of me won and I found myself jumping down from the high height to where the girl was chanting another thing under her breath.

"I told you to get away from here." I said through gritted teeth.


Love:

After hearing the rough voice, I looked up the tree to see a figure there. I smiled to myself, glad not to be alone. It seemed the figure thought otherwise because he jumped down the dangerous height recklessly and told me to go away.

I chanted a different sweet melody under my breath before I looked over in his direction. His hair was jagged and spiked, his face wearing a frown and his red eyes angry at something.

'Sheesh, what did I do?'

'Oh, You can sweet talk out of this for sure, Love.' replied my inner person.

'I'll give it a try.'

"Is this your property?" I asked the boy, a little to coldly than I had meant.

He snickered and replied, "Yeah, has my name on it."

"Guessing you put it there?"

He snorted, "Well, duh. Ur so stupid."

I sighed and said to him as sweetly as I could manage, "Aw, come now darling. Don't send me away sweetie. You know you are really lonely here."

'Nice one, love.' smiled the inner voice.

I grinned up into his perplexed face before utter my love song. It took my a few minutes before it was over but the boy seemed to look the same. His stood just as before, though a little lost it seemed.

I tried again. "Darling, you seem lost. Anything I can do to help you?"

"Keh!" he scoffed before attiring a stony posture and jumping back into the tree. "I don't need your company."

I dropped my sweet voice and talked to him normally now, seeing that maybe he wasn't as easy to get to as the other boys in the class. "Look, boy. This is school grounds and I think I can allow myself to stay behind if I want to and where I want to."

"Ha!" he called from a high branch in the tree. "Stay somewhere else."

"Like?"

"On the bench, over there." he grumbled.

I looked over to the bench and shuddered. 'That thing isn't even worth a homeless person.'

"Thanks but no thanks." I replied. "I'd like to stay here if that's alright with you."

"You ca-" he stopped abruptly before shrugging in the shadows and not talking to me for a while. I swayed on the swing, wondering what I should do when I came out to town.

It seemed as though the boy was restlessly fiddling in the tree, and couldn't find a position to stay in. "Boy!" I called out to him.

"What?!" he yelled rudely.

"If you're so restless, come join me." I said looking up into the tree where his figure was, in jeans and a plain shirt. "I don't bite boys, I enchant them."

"Ha! Try enchanting my backside, stupid girl!" was his rough reply.

I stood up, not really wanting to put up with his attitude and stay positive. I gave him a smile and called out to him for the last time. "Before I go, boy, do you mind telling me your name?"

"Rudeness."

"Rudeness...I guess I can remember that." I laughed before I gracefully made my way to the gates.



Rude:

'What are you doing, Rude?!' the voice inside me yelled. 'Go after that girl!'

'No way!'

"Hey, wait!" I yelled before I could stop myself. She looked back and once again, those brilliant eyes found mine and I felt uneasy, or at peace. Whichever it was, I stumbled over my words after that. "Will you be here tomorrow?"

A smile spread across her pretty face and she blushed a little, twirling a finger through her locks. "Do you want me to?"

"Feh, like I care!" I called out. "I just..."

She sighed and started walking away, calling back to me. "Yes, I will. If you want to find me, I am always here."

'So she'll come back...'

I grinned a little before I regained my scowl and once more called to her once more. "Oi! It;s your turn to tell me your name!"

She looked back, a pale hand on the gates of the school, her beautiful eyes lingering on me and her lips apart as if questioning. For the first time, I found myself wondering what it would be like to kiss her. Pushing that thought aside, I waited for her to reply.

"My name is Love..." she replied softly before turning and walking away, with a smile.

I sat back in the tree in grinned, much as it didn't suit my personality. All I could think about was seeing Love again, same time tomorrow, better yet, in lessons. My grin widened as I heard someone else approach the tree.

Annoying went to the tree and saw Rudeness. 'finally, someone' he thought. "Hey! What's your name? Do you think you can help me annoy Moody?" he yelled up. Waiting for an answer, he climbed up. and sat near him.

"Okay," Moody said, unsure of what was happening. "Do you know what just happened?" she asked Sassy. She thought about it and wondered where Annoying went' great. I just told him and Sassy about my powers and they'll probably tell everyone else who will tell everyone else about it and now everybody will know about it' and thought of an idea to solve the problem.

{Mischief}
I wandered through the gates of the school, feeling jumpy and proud. Today had gone beautifully. I was still snigenning at the time when I had put the air horn under the school principal's chair and given her a heart attack. I also remembered the time I had put a toy spider in the teacher's desk and had her scream loud enough for a first-grader to start crying. Yep, today had gone VERY well!

Gender: Male
Age: 18
Looks: He has short brown hair and blue eyes, wears an open sky blue hooded jacket over a white t-shirt and wears black canvas shoes. Inept's features are often graced with a goofy grin and he slouches a little due to the fact that he is always playing video games.
Personality: Inept is the definition of his name--clumsy, not really skilled at anything besides wasting time and a little slow at times. Though his carefree personality makes him a friendly person and what he lacks in talent, he makes up for with a contagiously jovial attitude.
Any special powers: Inept has the ability to cause those around him to lose their focus, thus rendering them incapable of completing sometimes the simplest tasks, though his good-willed nature keeps him from ever putting the power to use.
Other: He has no family and lives by himself in an apartment, scraping by off of money he makes doing odd-jobs he can snag wherever there is work to be done.

"You mean between Love and that other tall dude?" I murmured. "Seems like they were sorta arguing... but at the same time having a conversation. Say, I think that he likes Love... not that surprising, though, huh? Like, Love's... probably the prettiest girl in the whole academy."
Then I remembered that I was to meet her... or at least Curious wanted me to. Where did he say? On the third bench to the left of the yellow swing in the playground.
"Hey Moody, come on girl, that's where we're meeting Curious and Love," I pointed to to the bench. Filthy... no one sat on it, so now it was covered in bird poop. I sighed and just stood up beside it, lingering around pointlessly. I checked my watch - 4:57. After 10 minutes, Curious wasn't here. Sighing again, I ran my hand through my hair, feeling worn out, not to mention bored.
{Curious}
(Note: Curious's perspective will be written sort of childishly, as he's only 5 😋)
Uh ohhhhhhhh, I was late for meeting Sassy and Love. I really hoped they could be great friends. Maybe besties? Panting, I scampered toward the lower campus' playground. Third bench to the left of the yellow swing of the playground... I saw Sassy already there, looking irritated. Eek. When she saw me, she raised her eyebrows, tilting her head toward something to the right. I glanced, and there was Love. She really was a beautiful girl...
I ran towards her now, calling out, "Love! Loooove! Remember our meeting? Hmm, are you ok? You look super pretty as usual, you know! Did you have a good day today? You're here to meet my other friend Sassy, remember? Remember? Hope you two can be besties! Hey, she's over there, let's go!"
I grabbed her hand and dragged her to Sassy. Sassy gave a smirk-smile, which was her usual greeting, though today it looked at little forced towards Love. I was curious as to why... had they met before? Oh but then... maybe it wasn't such a good idea for them to meet - Love probably wasn't the type of person Sassy liked.

{Love}

Curious came up to me and pulled me towards a little group by a yellow bench. I managed to find Moody, Curious, Annoying there. And Sassy. I groaned.

'Do I have to meet her again? I've had enough of her sassy attitude before, now again. That boy, Rudeness, was someone I was much more willing to talk to.'

'None the less, my dear. You can get yourself out of this one.'

My hand itched to my flute, a concealed item which I carried. I clenched it into a fist, then relaxed, standing all beside the girl with red wavy hair.

"Sassy, it's nice to meet you, sweetheart." I said to her with a smile. "It has been a rather long time, right?"

'Urgh...hasn't been long enough...' I sighed inwardly.

Instead of waiting for an answer, I addressed the others. "Moody, Annoying, Curious, how nice it is to see you guys out of class. How are you?"


Rudeness:

I sat up in the tree, paying little attention to whoever had climbed there. They eventually went away and I opened an eye to see where Love had gone. She was talking to some other students, but she seemed a little annoyed at something. My red eyes wondered over to a girl only too familiar to me. My stomach jumped as I realized Sassy was there. It seemed Love and Sassy weren't the best of friends. I closed my eye and reverted back to my nap, not bothered by their conversations. It would be nice if someone called me down though. I couldn't guarantee my good behaviour, but a chat would ease my mind...

Inept wandered about, hands behind his head as he walked leisurely along, not paying too much attention to those around him. "Isn't it a little dangerous to be napping up there?" he asked, not sure what kind of answer he'd get.

If it were him, he'd have already fallen out of the tree by now, that is, if he'd even managed to climb it. However, Inept couldn't exactly judge the difficulty of something for others by how well he could do it himself, since he wasn't too good at anything, really. Perhaps it was simply that sleeping in a tree was something almost anyone could do besides himself, not that he particularly minded the idea. He'd much rather doze off in a bed or on a couch, where he would be comfortable.

Rudeness:

"Isn't it a little dangerous to be napping up there?" came a voice from below, snapping me out of my nap. I gazed down and saw a boy with short brown hair and blue eyes wearing a jacket and trousers.

"Shut up." I yawned at him. "It ain't your business so go away."

I turned over and retired back to my nap. This was way better.

"I'm bored," Moody said. "How about you?" She looked at Annoying. 'How come you're here?" Annoying replied "he," and her pointed at Rudeness" ignored me when I asked him a question so I came over here, since I'm bored too," and Moody mumbled "Of course." She went back to your normal voice "Why don't you try again?" Moody went over there and yelled up 'Hey! Annoying wants to talk to you!" and waited for an answer. Annoying came over and stared up. He decided to climb up and sit down.'I should have known he'd do that' Moody thought.

Full Name: Apathy
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance: Apathy is a strapping you man and judging only by his appearance one could easily be fooled into thinking that he is an athlete. His skin is a warm beige color and his hair, styled into short curls is a sandy blonde. Though he barely ever cares for the short locks, most people assume he leaves it purposefully tousled as part of an image. He has light hazel eyes, a round jaw and full lips set into a perpetual smile.
His typical outfit consists of a white shirt, plain jeans, sneakers and a brown coat unless it's too warm for him to be wearing it.
Personality: He is talkative but also willing to hear people out quietly, a good friend to have when things go south. Mostly everyone find his companionship pleasant and enjoyable, however even when he is devoting all of his attention to one single person and treating them kindly, he seems somehow distant and reserved. His constant, faint smile doesn't carry any actual emotion and after a while spent with him, seems plastic and dishonest. His features are always set in a friendly expression, misleadingly displaying happiness when he should be upset or angry, even excitement is never seen on his face. Though it makes it difficult to guess what he is thinking, this facade is essentially meant to cover his complete lack of emotion, not to prevent others from understanding his true feelings.
Special power: Apathy's ability has no influence on those around him, rather it allows him to be completely unaffected by anyone's powers.
Other: He is skilled at operating large machines and also a computer whiz. However simple household appliances baffle him sometimes, it is especially dangerous to leave him alone in a kitchen.
He has the habit to keep his hands showed in the pockets of his coat or, if he isn't wearing it, to hook his thumbs on the belt that is always fastened over his hips.
Even though he is somewhat of a brainiac, arguably a geek, and doesn't practice any actual sport, he likes to exercise and run long distances.

Frowning at the negative response, Inept looked around to see if there was anywhere better to hang out and decided this was the perfect spot. Sitting down under the tree, he took a deep breath of the fresh air. "It is my business if you get hurt, since I couldn't possibly leave an injured person unaided." he finally replied in a low voice, though he wasn't sure that the boy would hear him--or even that he wanted him to. Inept said it more to assure himself that if something bad did happen, he would help the kid; even if he was being rather rude.

Closing his eyes, he took in the sounds of the birds and cicadas, letting himself begin to drift off into a sleep-like state.

"Nice seeing you again, too," I replied as politely as I could to Love, though cringing slightly when she called me 'sweetheart'.
"Who were you asking, Annoying...?" I craned my neck to see into the trees. Wait. Into the trees. He always went there in his spare time. I squinted harder. And there he was. Rudeness was peacefully napping in that tree.
Upon seeing this, I tensed, but tried to act normal. It was 2 months ago, when we broke up. But I still didn't even fully understand why. We'd just... fallen apart. I felt broken, but now... I didn't know. I didn't.

Love:

I noticed Sassy tense up about something and dismiss it but she kept averting her eyes back to where I had met Rudeness. She seemed sad but I didn't really care right now.

"Guys, I'm sorry but I haven't got the time right now so I will be leaving you." I said before blowing kisses to everyone and sashaying away from the place. I walked home in silence, pondering today.

"Mum! I'm home!" I yelled as I walked into my house and slammed the door behind myself. "Is dinner ready?"

"Yes, darling! It will be done soon. My mum, Calm, was in the kitchen preparing food while my little brother Rush was upstairs rushing his homework.

"Sis, you're smiling." He pointed out hurriedly.

"Yes, honey, it's a common thing girls do." I replied.

"But you're blushing too." he said returning to his homework. "Is it a boy?"

"Maybe..." I sighed.

"Oo, you finally got'cha self a boyfriend. You've had a million of them. Wonder when he'll dump you? What's your record, two minutes?" he snickered.

"Mum! Rush is insulting my love life!" I yelled downstairs.

"Rush, stop rushing things and your sister. Love, stop sauntering into your brothers room!"

"Not like he's shoving me out..." I mumbled before we were called to eat downstairs.

Across the table, Rush rushed his food and glared at me, also making kissing noises and winking. 'Urgh he's so annoying...'

"I wonder what Rud's doing right now..." I whispered aloud, earning an excited galnce from my mum and a snicker from Rush.


Rudeness:

"I couldn't care less." I spat at the boy. I jumped turned around and looked over to the group. Sassy was staring straight at me with a look of annoyed confusion and I felt uneasy. I noticed that Love was gone adn wondered where she was.

I stood up and jumped down again, walking apst the boy and downt eh streets to my house. I lived alone for a long period of time and was used to the lonely feeling my house gave me.

'I wonder how it would feel to have a girl here...' I thought. I shook my head. 'As if anyone would want to come here with me...'

'Love would.' prompted the voice.

I pondered this and decided that if I saw her again tomorrow, I might ask her.
