Approaching less than 10 happiness?

What does it actually mean? Does it mean your creatures are lower than 10 already and at risk of dying or that they're nearly below 10? If so how long do you have before they drop below 10? Cause I got a notification saying my creatures were approaching lower than 10 about 20 mins after I logged out, and I logged on this morning and over 10 of my creatures are dead:/

You'll get a notification that your creatures are approaching less than 10 happiness, When their happiness is below 10.
Not feeding them caused their happiness to decrease all the way to zero. Then after a while they'll die.

@queens well that kinda sucks:/ I know about the happiness system, so far I've got the notifications about low happiness before they die and have time to put them in tims, but this time I got the notification the same day they died cause of my time zone, i just think as the notification says 'approaching less than 10' not below ten then the notification should come earlier :/ to give us a chance of putting them in Tims☹️

Agreed. This would be a very good suggestion to put forth, @beckah-lula . I though that I was the only that had happened to, but it seems like there are a few of us who would appreciate more of a warning.

One of my creatures almost died a couple days ago, because I was feeding all my creatures and I came to him it said 0 happiness so I fed it but so far it didn't die.

I'm sorry for your loss. ☹️

I've always got the notification when my creatures reach 15 happiness. Any mortal (<2000) creature with <10 happiness will die, though creatures can only die at 3 am. If the creatures have 11 happiness or higher at 3 am, then they will not die; if not, there is about a 1/30 chance of death if I remember correctly. Creatures lose about 10 happiness a day unless they have stars, so when you get the notification, you have about 12 hours before your creature is at risk of death. As feeding points give you varied happiness, you may need to put your creatures in Tim's or on the Click Exchange.

but my point is that I need more time, my time zone doesn't help either, I mean I got the notification saying about approaching less than 10 happiness at 9.50pm (my time zone) and at 8am (again my time zone) they were dead... That's 12 hours yeah but they're the hours I was sleeping☹️
