Trinket Travels Idea

I liked the idea of Trinket Travels, but it'd be nicer if we had ones that didn't have a scene on them. For example, I love the fin modifications for the Taigrin, but the background just makes it another travel. Couldn't we have a travel that just adds fins and not a full background?

So much yes! When they introduced the trinket travels, the description made it sound like it would be things to accessorize with. However, what we have are basically glorified regular travels.

However, I will point out how difficult it would be to accomplish this because every egg/creature on eggcave are in different positions and poses therefore, it would require the same "trinket" to be drawn however many times as there are creatures * 3 (for the stages) which means like 1000+ iterations of the same item.... This is essentially impossible to do unless eggcave decides to hire a team of dedicated trinket artists and I imagine it would be a hassle to code as well....

Anyway, I would LOVE to get customizable trinkets BUT I think that as a site, EC hasn't reached a stage where that would be feasible </3

They wouldn't be made for every creatures. I'd be just like the Trinket Travels, where they would be meant to be made for a specific Creature & Stage but can be attached to anything.

I've made a quick example for a Stage 3 Rosse:

As you can see, it can be attached to any creature at any stage, eventhough it's made for the Stage 3 Rosse.

@megadash I really like your idea. It would be great if we could have the trinkets without their backgrounds combined with normal travels. What I mean is that both - travels and trinkets could be attached separetely.

I've always wanted some of the trinket travels to have no background, and this seems to be just what I wanted!😊 great idea!

I agree! I would love to add little wings to my Curcull, but without the stand in the way. It looks cute, but I wish I could transfer those same wings to a more earthy looking travel.

I like this idea, although it might be hard for the site to create it, would we be able to put on the trinket and another travel behind or just the trinket? 😱
