She gave it a weary sniff, then started to eat it. She cringed as her filed down teeth made to hard to chew, but she ignored it.

Larentia looked at the other wolves and started to walk away. She didn't want to be caught by a wolf, and besides, she had a bunch of food at her cave: giant fish that she managed to drag back to her cave and several squirrels and mice.

Obio, seeing the wolf with the hurt wing (Larentia) walk off, felt hurt. Was he doing something wrong? Did she not want help? Did he seem impolite? As the silver wolf (Ran) in front of him turned and left also when getting no reply, he noticed another wolf hiding in the trees behind him. Aurak, who obviously didn't care about her new reputation, glared at him and walked, annoyed, back into the forest, waving her tail behind her. Serid shrugged, and followed his sister. Obio jumped into the air and taking one long stride from the forest floor, took to the sky to follow the winged pup.

Larentia continued walking until she caught the scent of something: of the pups she saw. She turned and looked up behind her but she saw nothing. (Your character hid before Larentia saw

Larentia shrugged it off and made it to her cave. She checked what food she had and to see if anyone took her food, especially Nuntis.

She still had her regular food for a regular meal, including fish, rabbits, mice, a few rather thin snakes, and chunks of deer meat she found on a uneaten deer body. She ate some of the deer and fish.

Ran watched as Ivy slinked by into the woods and camouflaged with her surroundings. He glanced at her half-eaten fish and decided to leave it for someone else if they came around. 'I want more friends' Ran thought as he huffed and jumped into the water to sleep.

Jax was sound asleep when he felt water droplets hit his fur and instantly bristled and stood up, angered. He noticed his brother wasn't around but knew he had done it. Jax stared down into the water with a growl. He wanted to go after his brother but his hatred for water made it impossible.

Arrya had been exploring the woods, following her nose this way and that. She was starting to get bored and scared. She hadn't eaten or slept in a few days and it was wearing her down. She sighed as her legs gave way and she collapsed on the ground. 'Just let me die here' Ari though as she lay there, thinking of all the ways she could die. She didn't even realize she was doing it but she howled out in pain, not really caring who heard and who came after her.

((Who wants to be Ari's hero? Its alright if none of you come, I'll think of something else))

Larentia heard howling and perked her ears up to listen. Her mom taught her how to "decode" howling messages, and whatever wolf was howling, he or she defiantly was NOT having a fun time.

Larentia grabbed two snakes and a big fish and followed the howling, trying to locate whoever needed help.

She lied in a patch of bushes, confused. She had made a friend, and it was awesome. No, she thought. You shouldn't make friends. Remember who you are. She growled at her own thoughts and covered her ears.

As the sun rose high into the sky, the late afternoon sunlight beat down on to the "sanctuary" below; Nomi's fur glowed like fire. Because today was particularly sunny, the 5 feet radius around Nomi had reached sweltering temperatures, wilting and burning the passing plants to a crisp. Leaving a path of burnt underbrush behind her, Nomi strode through the forest like a moving fire. Her fur wasn't actually on fire, it just looked like it.

"Yes, why wouldn't I want to get myself killed by leaving a burnt path for predators to follow? And this surrounding heat will definitely catch me some prey," Nomi thought sarcastically to herself. "Stupid scientists."

As Nomi continued through the forest, she came across a stream. Bending down to lap up some water, the water in the stream began to bubble like a hot tub from the interaction with heat, causing the little fish to swim away. Farther down the stream Nomi could see that the stream fed into a large lake through the forest of tall oak trees.

After Nomi lifted her head up from her drink, a painful howl cut through the silence of the forest. "Poor wolf, probably lost a battle," Nomi thought. Following the winding stream to the lake, Nomi paused at the water's edge, just far enough away so that it could not touch her. It also began to bubble like a hot tub. Peering across the vast lake, if she was not mistaken, Nomi could see the figure of a wolf - or mayebe a tiger, or maybe a cat - with a striped, dark chocolate pelt who appeared to be staring down into the water.

Jax felt eyes on him and he turned to see a flaming she-wolf staring at him. He stared at her in curiosity and took a few steps towards her.

Arrya tried to sit up but just crumpled again. She whimpered as white specks flecked in her vision. She howled again and tears filled her eyes.

Ran swam out of the water and shook his fur out. Then a scent hit his nose. "Ivy" he whispered as he ran towards the scent. He found her laying in some bushes and he chuckled. "Hey, Ivy" he exclaimed with a smile.

Larentia followed the howling until she came upon the source of the howling.

It was a she-wolf with long ginger fur with black and white speckles and a bob tail. The fur looked like bristles.

Larentia was starting to have second thoughts, but her kindness overwhelmed her, and she approached the whimpering wolf.

"E-Excuse me," she said, "Are you hungry?". Larentia then dropped the two snakes and the fish. "The snakes look unappetizing but trust me, they're pretty nice". Larentia then gave the wolf a comforting smile.

Caspian wondered through the long thick grass. The air was decently dry, making Caspian suffer with his new modification. He really wanted to find some water, or at least have some rain. Sadly, the sun shines bright as day and there isn't a single in sight in the blue skies.

Caspian's vision is becoming fuzzier by the minute. Still no water for quite a while and Caspian is starting to worry for himself. If he can't find water soon enough, he might just have to find a hiding spot instead.

But a hiding spot won't help his, more serious, dehydration. He worries if he doesn't recover soon, the main problem on his mind is he is will become vulnerable to other creatures that he can sense in this odd landscape.

Alike his vision, he memory of getting here is all a big fuzz. All he remembers is waking up to the addition of fins and gills set near his jaw line.

Back to more serious problems, Caspian still can't spot anything in the distance through the long grass. Caspian continues to push through and worrying of pushing himself too hard.

Seeing the wolf take a step forward, Nomi took a step backward, growling. She positioned herself in a defensive stance, ready to leap at any movement. "If I take out this wolf, that could increase my chances survival," she thought to herself, calculating and weighing logic and survival. "I mean ..... survival of the fittest, yo."

Locking her melted gold eyes with his hazelnut ones, Nomi sent a message to the other wolf through her mind using telepathy. "To kill or not to kill, that is the question."

Jax soon found himself in danger and he knew he couldn't beat this shewolf. So he decided to run. He used his power to throw sand in her eyes and make a break for it. "I'm sorry, I just don't want to die today" Jax shouted before he ran into the forest. As he ran through the trees and around bushes, he began to see a blue form ahead. Jax picked up speed and as he got closer, he noticed it was a wolf and he didn't look to good. Jax slowed down and peered at the wolf. "You need water?" He asked as he noticed his gills and fins.

Ari looked up when she heard a voice but it took a lot of effort to lift her head. She whimpered as her head fell down with a thump and she stared up at the shewolf with kind eyes. Then she moved her eyes to look at the food before her. She stuck her tongue out and grabbed the snake, bringing it to her mouth. She closed her eyes as she chewed, savoring the taste. Some of her strength returned and she stood up to finish the rest of the food. Once finished, she looked at the shewolf and bowed. "Thank you" she stated.

Caspian watched a figure approach him. He couldn't tell who the creature was from his blurry vision. "You need water?" It asked.

Caspian really did need water but he wasn't sure if this wolf was reliable. He didn't really trust anyone or anything in this fake wilderness. For all he know the water might be posion if anything. Trusting this wolf might put him at bigger risk.

As vulnerable as he maybe look, he can't trust anyone and he doesn't want anyone. Caspian felt a growl in his throat. Backing off might be a safer choice.

Unexpectedly, the wolf flung sand towards her eyes as he immediately made a break for it. "I'm sorry, I just don't want to die today," he said as he dashed away towards the dense forest. The sand he had threw didn't touch her though, it instead turned into liquid droplets of glass from the surrounding barrier of heat, dropping to the ground just before touching the tip of her nose.

"What!? Is this how all the other wolves will be like?" Nomi thought in confusion. It also confused her how he was able to fling sand without actually kicking it. "He must have powers," she concluded.

From being exposed to the sunlight for so long on the treeless shore, Nomi's surrounding heat had increased in temperature; hot enough to change sand into glass. Although taking note of this, Nomi strode back into the coverage of the forest, knowing that she had no control over how hot the heat got. She decided to make an attempt in searching for food while the sun slid slightly farther down the sky. As she wandered silently through the forest, Nomi picked up the scent of both a wolf and she-wolf in the process of sniffing out prey.

Larentia smiled. It wasn't everyday you met a wolf who wasn't so crazy and was actually nice enough to take some help.

"No problem," she said, "It feels nice to help. I'm Larentia but you can call me Laren for short. What's your name?"

Raima was swimming around playing around with the fish in the depths of a lake. She was starting to get used to her tail and was enjoying the feeling which she lost when she was little. Down here she felt so free and weightless. Raima thought this might be what it's like to fly.

Aldwin watched the rabbit nibble on a piece of grass. He bent down and started to move forward. Slowly, just a bit closer. He leapt forward, killing it in his jaws. Aldwin started devouring the rabbit. Where his paw was placed the grass started to burn. That started to happen if he stayed in the same place for to long.

Jax stepped backwards from the wolf two and gave off a harmless aura. He looked up at the wolf and smiled kindly. "Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you. I just wanted to know if you needed water" Jax stated as he peered at the wolf with concern.

Ran wagged his tail happily and smiled. "You still hungry?" Ran asked with a gesture to the woods as his tummy growled softly.

Ari smiled weakly as she shook out her fur, some of her bristles shooting out. She cowered and stared apologetically at Larentia. "Oops, sorry" she mumbled as her quills barely missed Laren's flank.

She nodded, and then followed him into the dense woods. She paused him with her tail. Then, she made the vines weave into a small net on the forest floor. Finally, she made a small strawberry plant grow on top of it, strawberries already blooming. Trap, she mouthed.

Ran smiled at Ivy's trap idea and licked his lips as he grew hungry. "How long is the wait?" Ran whinded softly but then a rabbit hopped out to investigate the strawberries. Ran almost pounced but then he remembered the trap. He grew giddy as he waited and he could hardly sit still.

A dark shadow circled over the lake. Raima recognised it as a duck so she shot forward and snapped it up with her jaws. She dragged it underneath the water and started devouring it.

Flames started underneath Aldrin's paws so he started to move. He smelt the scent of two wolves but moved passed them, flames moving down his body jumping off his tail.

With curiosity, Nomi followed the scent of two wolves through the forest. A path of crispy, burnt underbrush was trailed behind her from her 5 foot radius of heat.

"This is probably going to get me killed," Nomi thought to herself, peering over her shoulder at the path. "Predators can follow me and this heat definitely doesn't get me a meal. Maybe I can just hope that something roasts in the heat."

As Nomi followed the scent, it lead her down a very steep hill of the forest, dotted with an overgrowth of bushes and trees. Waling farther down the hill, she spotted two wolf figures from a distance, a rabbit dangling by its feet above the ground in front of them.

Aldrin kept walking, he thought he might find somewhere to rest overnight. Maybe if he claimed a spot no-one would bother him. He found a cave and headed towards it and lay down on the cool stone.

Raima was enjoying feeling weightless, it was easier than when she was walking on land.

Ran jumped up and barked happily when he saw the rabbit in the trap. "Yes...some real food." Ran exclaimed as he wagged his tail and stared at the rabbit. He was tired of fish even if it tasted good.

Ran picked up the scent of something burning and his happy mood kinda soured. He looked around and then spotted a shewolf with fire surrounding her. Ran tilted his head to the side as he studied her. "Are you hungry?" He called out.

Jay smiled slightly and then stepped towards the wolf. "You think you can walk any longer?" Jax asked, worried if this wolf was going to pass out on him.
