Raima understood what the other wolf wanted, though wasn't quite sure if she could breath on land. She wasn't sure on how long she has been under the water for and couldn't remember the last time she spoke and if she couldn't speak how would she communicate to the other wolf if she over came her shyness.

Raima shook her head and followed the other wolf. Her nose was sticking out of water as she tried to remember how to breath out of it.

Ran followed after Ivy and when he spotted the red light he cowered and growled. He barked at it and tried to jump at it but he couldn't reach it nor could he climb trees. "What is it?" Ran asked as he stood beside Ivy.

Ivy just shrugged, because she didn't know what it was herself. But she pointed out they could see their reflections in it.

Yama saw her nose break the water, and excitment rippled through him. He knew walking wouldn't work well with only two paws and a fish tail, but if she was friendly, Yama had the mind to come back and visit. "Hello!" he said, bobbing along the surface, "I'm Yama!"

Raima went to open her mouth to reply, but remembered that she was under water. The light blue wolf moved so her mouth was above the surface. If she could get her nose working again then she might be able to put her head above water.

"I'm Raima," She replied smiling, "it's nice to meet you!"

Yama smiled at the little blue slither above the water as she told him her name was Raima. He hoped she would be able to get her head above water, but he didn't want to drown her...if you could even drown someone in air. "Can you breathe air, or are you stuck in the water forever?" He asked, ever the child.

"I have no idea," Raima admitted. She decided to move her hole head above the water. Every time she tried to breath through her nose, it was her gills that moved instead. The she-wolf slightly opened her mouth and tried breathing that way.

"I guess I can," Raima smiled.

Yama smiled at Raima as she took in air for the first time in...probably a long time, Yama thought. "Have you ever been on land with your tail?" This reminded him that he generally ate deer or rabbit, or whatever he could find on land. "What do you eat, fish?" He eyed one swimming below them gracefully.

Raima shook her head, "This is actually the first time I've popped my head above water," she admitted, then moved to Yama's second question, "I mainly eat ducks and other water birds. Sometimes I eat anything that gets too close to the water's edge, but I haven't touched the fish."

Yama noted that she didn't eat fish, and decided to respect that. He'd have to bring back something else to Aldwin for dinner. "Have you seen any other wolves around?" One of the fish swam past, brushing up against his leg and tickling him.

"You're the first wolf I've seen. Not many wolves dive down to the bottom of the lake," Raima replied, "but I have caught the scent of others."

Yama swam to shore and lie down with his front paws in the water to keep from wearing himself out. "There's a wolf who lives in a nearby cave who...I guess...I've started a pack with? He thinks this is someone else's territory, but it seems like no one has bothered remarking it." Yama rolled over on his back and looked out at the world upside down. "Your fur is really pretty. Underwater I couldn't see it because it is the color of water."

Raima followed Yama, but her paws were on land. "Uh, thank you," she replied to Yama's statement, not quite sure how to reply to it. A blue flutter caught her eye. She felt the tip of her tail start wagging. It was a butterfly, the one creature which Raima loved.

Back in the forest, Nomi calmly trotted in a straight path through the underbrush. She came across a small stream that curved and twisted around rocks and notches in the forest forest floor. Nomi assumed that it was the same stream she had come across the day before since it fed it's water fed into the lake. In the clear water of the stream, Nomi could see the rocks, plant life growing at the bottom, and.... a fish.

Nomi's stomach growled in response to the decent sized fish. Stopping close to the waters edge, she waited for the fish to swim down the stream to where she stood. When it neared, Nomi quickly shot out, placing her left paw in the water for balance as her right paw tried to snag it. However, she placed both of her front paws back onto the bank empty pawed. But to her surprise, she saw that the fish - dead- had floated further down stream and was stuck to the side of a rock.

"What the heck?! I didn't even touch it or anything!" Nomi said to herself and ran down alongside the stream, picking it up in her mouth. "It probably died from the sudden temperature change in water," she assumed, crouching down to eat the fish. Out of the corner of her eye, Nomi spotted two wolf figures on the shore of the lake where the water was still able to reach.

Yama saw her wagging tail, and turned to see what she was focused on, finding a butterfly. He watched the it flap around, and then turned back, but his gaze stopped on another wolf on the edge of the river that lead to the lake. Yama hoped this stranger was friendly, but he tensed up with uncertainty.

Raima's tail drooped as the butterfly disappeared. She caught the scent of another wolf close by. She tensed up, her ears straight and ready to swim off, she couldn't move very well this close to the edge of the lake.

Ran crouched and growled at the thing. He didn't like it and felt like it wasn't trustworthy. "Should we try to destroy it?" Ran asked.

She shook her head and gestured to him to follow her. As they walked, they kept passing more blinking red lights. Eventually, they got to the big metal door. She kicked a rock towards the transparent wall, and it zapped back a 1000 bolts of energy.

Ran growled at the door and cowered down when it shot electricity. "Where is this?" Ran thought aloud as he looked at the door and then back at the boxes with flashing red lights.

She tried to answer, but all that came out of her mouth was a croaking sound. She closed her mouth, embarrassed.
