"No thanks," Nomi said. She took a step back from this wolf because she didn't want him getting within the 5 foot radius of heat..... yet. From standing in one spot for too long, the grass and plant life within the radius had burned away to nothing, leaving a circle of bare dirt around her. Just then, Nomi heard an electric rapping noise that probably resulted from a collision, seeing a rock fly through the air only to land back onto the grass. "Er... I think I should be going now," Nomi said, turning away to slip back into the forest, or rather burn another trail in the forest.

@cutebirdy79She had a trail of wildflowers pop up and show her the way back to Ran and the shewolf. She got there just as the shewolf left. She nudged Ran then ran back towards the wildflower trail, trying to get him to follow. She had to show him the door. She needed somebody else to see it.

Aldwin slightly smirked. "I walked passed some before," he answered. "This place doesn't have the scent that my forest had. The wind smells fake."@chocolatechip
chocolatechip • 16 August 2015 at 8:20 PM
Yama turned to the cave opening and took a deep breath. He hadn't noticed before, but the wind indeed smelled...fake. Artificial, like the wolves breathing it. He suddenly felt alone, cramped. He didn't know if he would cooperate with whatever altered and dumped him and simply live his life with a pack of super-wolves, or find a way to escape. He put his head on the stone floor and tried to remember his past before this as he fell asleep.Yama dreamed of a forest and a den of wolf cubs, one of which was him. He tackled and wrestled with his siblings while Mom and the Alpha looked around for danger. Something wasn't right. There was no noise. Not a bird, or a bug, or the breaking of twigs and branches. Mom turned to hush her cubs and tell them to hide, and as they ducked into the corners of the cave under a forest rock, there was a SNAP and a BANG, and some wolves had fallen where they stood, while others were captured in a cage or net. The cubs whimpered in fear as the world as they knew it came to an end.@splashnose Back! 😃

Aldwin wasn't going to fall asleep just yet. He still felt like he was being watched, a feeling he knew all too well about. He was reminded about his time in the old forest. Since they were in constant war with the other packs, he had learned to trust his instincts. Aldwin glanced up into the corner of the cave and spotted a strange looking thing. He heaved himself up and padded over to the wall it was. It was too high up for him to sniff it, even when he was leaning against the wall.Aldwin pushed himself off the wall and spotted Yama sleeping. He seemed to be having a restless dream. He padded over to the other wolf and poked him in the stomach with his muzzle.@chocolatechip Yay!Raima dove down back into the depths of the water. A bunch of colourful fish surrounded her. She let out a friendly growl and lay at the bottom of the ocean.

The cubs, Yama included, were taken from their den by giants with long fingers covered in slick material like hardened tree sap. Some fought the giants, biting, kicking, and clawing, but the giants didn't seem to notice or care. The light came up in a place with none of Yama's pack. Instead, there was a pack of the giants who huddled and spoke in a strange language. When Yama whimpered, the giants looked at him, and one of them came at him with a long, thin, metal branch with liquid in it. They turned him on his side and......Yama woke with a start from the poke at his belly. He took a breath and relaxed when he saw it was only Aldwin. "Is everything okay?" he asked, shaking off his sleepiness and standing up, testing his broken leg.*~*~~*~*~~*~*~~*~*@splashnose

@rustiscool @epicthings451 Ran was about to follow the shewolf but then Ivy came back. He looked over at her and saw she wanted him to follow her. He shook out his fur and quickly jogged to catch up with her. "Did you find something?" Ran asked once he was beside her.@xoxo5959Jax whimpered when the wolf fainted and he nudged his head. He sighed and then grabbed the ruff of his neck with his mouth. He than began to drag him towards the lake. 'I don't have much time' Jax thought as he dragged the wolf as fast as he could without hurting him. They made it to the water and Jax whimpered as he looked between the wolf and water. He hated water but he need to help this wolf. Jax looked around the lake for something to scoop. He came up empty and just lapped up some water. He then jogged over to the wolf and dropped the water on his gills. Then he made another trip and dripped it into the wolf's mouth. He had no idea if it was enough but he hoped it was enough for the wolf to gain some of it's strength back.

"You were having a restless dream," Aldwin replied, "so I decided to wake you up." He wasn't very good at being caring, that wasn't his job. When he was alpha he would normally threaten his pack members into doing what he wanted. A lot of pack blood was shed in his reign."Are you ok?" he asked, hiding the fact that he could not care less.@chocolatechip

Yama yawned and replied "Yeah, I'm fine, I just had a dream about the giants who stole me and my pack." He could sense something was not quite alright with the fiery wolf, but he took a different approach to get there as not to be burnt to a crisp. "How did you get here? Was it just you, or your whole pack?" Yama thought about the pup (Oops, wolves are pups, not cubs ^-^') in his dream versus his current self. How long did the giants have him before they let him go?@splashnose
splashnose • 17 August 2015 at 8:36 PM
"I'm not quite sure, I believe I was asleep then I awoke here," Aldwi replied. He lied about the asleep part. He had snapped when he was taken. Aldwin was surprised that they took him while he had snapped. He had respect for those creatures. "I believe I was the only one who was taken," Aldwin replied, "Though if I wasn't, I doubt they'd try to find me." He slightly smiled, but hid it from Yama. If they caught scent of me they'd probably run. Heh. Maybe even challenge me.Aldwin started to think about his sister, but he didn't snap. Maybe it was because he wasn't angry or frustrated. He was starting to slightly control his flames, but as he thought of his sister they erupted around his paws.@chocolatechip

Yama felt sorry for Aldwin. His own pack didn't care enough to try to find him. Aldwin's paws caught fire, but Yama didn't cower or step back. He stepped closer, trying both not to burn himself and to comfort Aldwin. "Someone must miss you from the pack. If no one did, they would've left you behind or kicked you out...right?" Yama meant to look him in the eyes, but the fire was glowing, and it captures Yama's attention.@splashnose

Normally Aldwin wouldn't talk about his past, but it stopped him thinking about his sister. Yama also faintly reminded him of his sister. "If my sister was still alive, she would," He replied. "Though if she was we wouldn't be having this conversation," he slightly chuckled."They couldn't kick me out. I should explain. Our pack was constantly fighting others, while we where training we were put through many different tests. My pack was always fighting between ourselves, since in that time the strongest becomes alpha. I made my way up the ranks quite quickly and became the alpha. For the first few moons, leading was rough with so many challenges for power. I soon made my... Mark," Aldwin stopped, telling his history felt wrong. But he should at least open up to this wolf to gain trust. He still found it amusing how his pack didn't like him, when they appointed him alpha because of his tendency to snap.@chocolatechip
chocolatechip • 17 August 2015 at 10:59 PM
Yama listened like the little pup he once was, and when Aldwin stopped, Yama urged him to keep going. "You can't help what pack you were born into, or what the pack values are. I didn't choose to get captured by the giants or turned into a water bending wolf, and I didn't choose to dump myself here where everything and everyone is fake. All I-and you-can choose is what to do next." Yama looked out of the cave and saw the sun peeking over the trees. Another day for us to endure and survive.@splashnose

Aldwin was surprised by his kindness. "Your right," slightly smiling. He wasn't used to wolves like this.@chocolatechip (Sorry it's so short)

Yama took in a breath of the stale morning air. The smell of meat taunted him. "Are you hungry for breakfast?" Without waiting for a response, Yama trod into the forest, his broken leg almost healed from his powers and the splint. @splashnose - That's fine!
rustiscool • 18 August 2015 at 12:43 PM
@cutebirdy79 Ivy nodded quickly and ran towards the path of wildflowers she had made, which was slowly fading. She stopped and looked up a blinking light(video camera). She barked at it, but all that came out was a croaking sound.
splashnose • 18 August 2015 at 6:40 PM
Aldwin nodded and followed Yama. This was the first time he didn't need to control a wolf. The flaming wolf sniffed the air. A few wolf lengths forward was a deer. He glanced at Yama, flicking his tail telling him to continue forward while he circles around it.@chocolatechip
chocolatechip • 18 August 2015 at 9:18 PM
Yama nodded, and took a moment to wonder whether he should reveal his electric powers yet. He decided to keep it to himself for now and save it for an emergency. He stalked the deer, keeping in a straight line and staying as low to the ground as he could in hopes the deer didn't notice a white pelt in the green and brown. @splashnose
splashnose • 19 August 2015 at 12:03 AM
Once Aldwin was in position he decided to try and herd the deer towards Yama. He stalked forward a bit. The deer hadn't noticed them yet. He started to think how he would lead the deer towards Yama. He thought that a small fire would do the trick.@chocolatechip
chocolatechip • 19 August 2015 at 12:11 AM
The deer turned to look at the fire for a split second before bounding in the opposite direction, straight towards Yama. A bound or two later, the deer realized it had been tricked and spun around, but Yama pounced and took the deer down, holding its head on the ground with windpipe crushed. Breakfast was served, and Yama took a step back to let the older wolf eat first as he was taught.@splashnose - Hope I didn't end that chase too soon...
splashnose • 19 August 2015 at 12:37 AM
Aldwin walked over to the fire and put it out with his paw, the padded over to the deer carcass. In his old pack everyone would fight over food, which was why not many pups and elders survived. "You don't need to wait," he said as he passed Yama, "there's only the two of us."Even when he tried to sound friendly, his voice still had a growl somewhere in it. He bent down and started tearing the flesh of the deer. He wasn't used to his teeth and would sometimes pull back too hard and hurt his neck.@chocolatechip No, it was fine
chocolatechip • 19 August 2015 at 12:47 AM
As the sentence sank in, Yama realized it was foolish to wait because there was no way either of then could eat a whole deer, and it would take them too long to do anything if they did anything the way Yama's old pack was. He tore into the deer's upper half, and it startled him when Aldwin jerked his head back. Yama saw it wouldn't do any serious damage, but it could give him a headache if Aldwin wasn't careful.Yama summoned a pool of water from the underground to drink from after he was finished eating. "This part of wherever we are isn't so bad." Yama stated, looking around at the trees. "Do you think we would be able to claim it, or should we look somewhere else?" Yama wanted to find other wolves like them, but he wanted a home to come back to if they weren't going to travel.@splashnose
splashnose • 19 August 2015 at 5:34 AM
"I think claiming territory in here would attract too much attention," Aldwin said, once he had finished, "and we don't know how big this place is or how many wolves are here. Though I don't really care, I don't really want to get into a fight with other wolves. It'll cause too much trouble." He stopped and sighed, realising how lazy he is without his pack challenging him every time. Or maybe it was the fact that he didn't want to snap.@chocolatechip
chocolatechip • 19 August 2015 at 12:24 PM
Yama thought in silent agreement, but their pack was too small to attract that much attention, and Yama didn't want to get in any fights either, just find other wolves and maybe a way out. If Aldwin didn't know how big the fake world was, that meant he stayed in or near his cave most of the time. Yama wanted to get out and DO something. He needed time to clear his head. "I'm going swimming in the river over there...I just need a minute to sort out my thoughts. I'll probably bring back some fish or something." This time Yama didn't wait for approval, he started through the trees to the river almost out of sight, but not quite.@splashnose
splashnose • 19 August 2015 at 10:03 PM
Aldwin nodded and pulled the deer carcass back to the cave. It still had meat on it, so they could eat the reaming meat later. He thought he might be able to test his powers and learn to better control them. He sent blasts of flame towards the cave wall, though most of them were uncontrollable.@chocolatechipRaima woke up from the bottom of the lake.
chocolatechip • 20 August 2015 at 10:15 PM
Yama dove in, and let the water wash over him for a moment before opening his eyes. The water was pure, clean, and beautiful. Yama swam, gliding through the water and letting the current guide him to a lake. He poked his head up to see where he was before submerging like a bird about to catch prey. Something big on the bottom moved, and curious Yama pushed himself low enough to recognize it as a she-wolf. Yama wagged his tail in excitement of finding another wolf...one who had similar abilities as himself!@splashnose
splashnose • 21 August 2015 at 3:43 AM
Raima noticed the coloured fish were staying close to the lake floor. She looked up and noticed another wolf. Because of her shyness, she flicked her tail and shot away from the other wolf. She was so used to hiding from other wolves because of her disability. She has always been a bit weary of others.@chocolatechip Aldwin focused on his flames, starting small ones and leading them up the walls. It was easier to control smaller flames than larger ones.
chocolatechip • 22 August 2015 at 12:26 AM
Yama watched in amazement as the she-wolf with a fish tail swam with the same ease and grace as the fish, who scattered at all the movement. "Wait!" he yelled, but it had no effect underwater. He willed the current into his favor, pushing him along and hopefully slowing the fish she-wolf enough for them to meet properly.@splashnose
splashnose • 22 August 2015 at 1:03 AM
Raima tried to propel herself forward with the aid of her power, but that just exhausted her, slowing down. She cursed her weakness, from not having much fitness from her younger years. She slowed down and turned around. She didn't want to fight, because that's not her nature and she didn't have any fighting skills. Maybe the other wolf was friendly, but she was still shy.@chocolatechipAfter practicing with his new ability, Aldwin started practicing his battle moves. He tore away at an imaginary enemy, which to him was one of his old siblings. He felt the rage he felt that day, but calmed himself down.
chocolatechip • 22 August 2015 at 1:15 AM
Yama stopped just as the she-wolf turned around. It was a good thing, too, because using his powers against the current in a giant lake was tiring. Yama saw her gills, and hoped she could still breathe above water, unlike her fishy companions. Yama looked up at the surface, then back at her, hoping she would catch his meaning. Tails that aren't scaly are hard to flick underwater, Yama thought as he surfaced, looking down at the the she-wolf fish.@splashnose
