Hello everyone,
I joined less than half an hour ago 😸
Is anyone up for talking about random stuff or giving me any tips on how I can easily evolve my eggs? 😊

@khalidaseiko You can put your eggs in the Click Exchange.

@khalidaseiko - Welcome to Egg Cave! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

If you are replying to someone, you should ping them. Otherwise, they won't know that you've done so. To ping someone, either click the bell icon under their username in the forums, or type an @ followed by their username (e.g. @sparklefox ). You can only ping up to five people per post. Sorry if you knew this already.

Checking out the Forum Rules and the Site Guidelines would be an easy way to start. Other useful links are the FAQ and eCode.

A common mistake from newbies is that they'll ping and reply to people using their own wall. Pinging does not work out of forums and the blog, and to reply to people's comments you go to their wall instead.

To evolve your eggs easily, you could put them in Egg Cave's own Click Exchange (click your current amount of XC under "Your Account" or go to the "Community" tab at the top), put them into an external Click Exchange (sucn as Yarolds), or put them in a forum signature on another site (this works especially for views).

@khalidaseiko If you'd like I could feed your eggs everyday to help them evolve. Since you're a newbie, I also have a welcome gift for you, but you can't access the TC so remind me later 😊

@silverjt
I have interest in art, photography, etc. basically creative things. I also like stuff like ambient music (it helps me think) and obviously food hah. What about you?

I myself am an artist 😃 I actually studied art in Korea for a while and came here to America for college. I usually just focus on traditional art, but have also dabbled in photography and digital. And who doesn't love food?

@silverjt
Haha, very true 😸

I haven't actually done any formal art training... I'm still umming and ahhing over that. I have however just spent 6 months in Thailand interning in Graphic Design.

I prefer to partake in more traditional art however and tend to focus more on portraiture in pencil.

Well I think it's fantastic to be 'umming and ahhing'. I myself still do that as well because my artistic style isn't exactly developed fully yet and discovering new art and designs is very intriguing to me. I actually had to put my art on hold because I'm actually a major in electric engineering and have a summer-long internship with my professor.

Thailand sounds interesting as well. I've never been there, but I've heard it's a very beautiful country. Where did you stay?

@silverjt

I've put my art on hold a little too. My first priority at the moment is finding another job.

In Thailand I stayed mainly in central Bangkok but did travel down to Hua Hin and up to one of the poorer provinces every now and again. It is a really beautiful country, the only problem I had with it was the heat as I generally love the cold.

@leafmelody

Thank you for those tips, I'll be sure to check them out 😸

@khalidaseiko Wow, Thailand sounds fun, but yeah East Asia/ Southeast Asia tends to be a bit warm sometimes (I should know, I've lived in China, Korea, and the Philippines)

And I understand how hard it is to find a job, I barely got my internship since I'm only a freshman and actually skipped a grade in High School.

@silverjt

Haha yeah, I finished high school at the end of last year and left applying for Tafe or University because I got a job offer working for my auntie in Thailand. If I can't find a job by the end of the year though I'll probably have to apply for some sort of education and find a way to deal with the hefty fees :/

@khalidaseiko Yeah. Tuition is really expensive, especially if you're out of state without a scholarship. You could apply for financial support to help, but only if you qualify. I had to get a lot of part time jobs to help pay for tuition.
