The idea is exactly what the tittle says (sorry for my bad English if it's not written very well).Well, why don't we receive our money back when someone bids more than us? Why only receive it when the auction it's over? Right now I have 1,600,000 EC (all I have) in an auction that I already lost ('cause I can't bid more) and will only get it after almost 4 more hours (it was 9 hours first).#OutbidInAuctions

@raitonchidori I've never understood why we never get our money back. So yes, I would like this as well.

@iceiceice thanks for your opinion. Please don't forget to vote on the poll below.We get our money back, but just after the auction ends, not before. And sometimes the auction lasts for days with all that unuseful EC.

@raitonchidoriI haven't bid in an auction in a long time, though I agree that this doesn't make much sense, and it can be especially problematic if you don't get the πͺ back before midnight since you can't collect interest.

you got all my supportπ
raitonchidori • 24 July 2015 at 5:52 PM
@lykhaos117 that's the point. I actually don't bid big amounts while there's much time left, because I'll "lose" my EC for that time in case of outbid. By the way, if I bid in an auction with all my EC and be outbid, I also can't bid in any auction anymore or spend that EC. Yesterday I lost travels and even a Thief Shop egg because I couldn't spend my EC. And also the Strongroom interest, as you remembered. Thanks for your opinion ^^.@possiegal thank you! π

@raitonchidori I thought the EC was held in escrow so that bidders couldn't keep outbidding one another over and over again...That's not exactly worded how I want it to be, but this was discussed in some thread when someone brought up sniping in auctions, I think. It was a while ago.Hopefully a mod will visit this thread. Good luck.

@dragonnn but even if the EC is in there, I can outbid the guy that did outbid me. I tried it before. Example: I have 75,000 EC. I made a bid of 70,000. The next guy outbid me with 72,000. Even if I have only 5,000 in hand, I can outbid with 75,000, I just can't use it in other auctions. By the way, I would like people who voted "No" to comment here saying why they think it's not a good idea. It's interesting to the topic discussion.

@raitonchidori So you can use all of your EC as long as it's being used on one auction lot? I don't remember it working that way for me, but if that's the case...huh. Wait, no, now I think I remember what you're talking about. All of your EC is available to you in one auction, but not in another until the first auction is closed, right?
raitonchidori • 30 July 2015 at 12:24 PM
@dragonnn exactly.

@lunamoonamare thank you. I hope @Ian likes it as well, or least tell us why it wouldn't be possible. π

@raitonchidori I'm very happy to see this is getting some consideration. πΈ I have always wondered about it as well.
