"well, what do you guys think? should we take the deal?" he said, turning to the others.

Shae:

"it may be to recover pokemon on our team, but we cant let a thief get away!"

Rocky:

"i have no idea."

Cole:

"lets do it. they're still part of Team Universe."

Ty:

"he's a theif, but lets do it."

Shard:

"lets not."

Mason:

"and i have no idea as well."

Suddenly, three Pokemon lept from a nearby Evergreen tree, and landed gracefully between Kaka and the Team. They were a Whimsicott, a Lilligant and a Leavanny, all wearing a platinum-coloured badge.

"Stop right there, Kaka!" the Whimsicott shouted, "We won't let you trick them!"

Without hesitation, the Leavanny elegantly slashed Kaka with her Leaf Blade. Her eyes burned with passion, but she still couldn't help but feel bad for the Arcanine who was crumpled beneath her feet.

"What a pitiful creature, tormenting innocent youth. Come, my children, I'll supply some revives for you." the Leavanny smiled sweetly. "Follow me."

She hesitantly turned around, looking back at Kaka with sympathy, and knelt down before Sparklecore and Nepgear, who were shivering faintly. She gently picked them up, and a tear glistened down her cheek. "Poor things..." she muttered.

She looked up at the team, then back to the Lilligant and Whimsicott. "Follow me, Team Verdant." she turned back to the rest of the Pokemon. "You too. By the way, I'm Lucille. The Whimsicott is Acacia, and the Lilligant over there is Hibiscus." Hisiscus beamed eagerly at the mention of her name. She whisked away, cradling Sparklecore and Nepgear in her arms.

"Yeah," Acacia flashed a wide grin, "You wouldn't want to die or anythin' wouldya?" She laughed playfully, and sashayed away in Lucille's direction. Hibiscus smiled cutely, and without a word, she trailed off behind her team.

@bot kaka can't be beat that easily and he is a fire type so grass type moves don't really do anything so he only felt a tap so he is tricking them.

kaka:
" you are not from team darkness so you can't beat me that easily." he got back up unharmed " and i already got one down so you better keep an eye on nightmare if you want her to live." then he ran off and can't be found.

Lucille stepped back, appalled, then hurriedly followed after the group.

"W-wait... Don't you need assistance?" she said, her voice trembling with worry. "These poor siblings are hurt, they need help..."

"Yeah, a Pokemon's life is more important than apprehending a criminal!" Hibiscus chimed in, "They could die!" Her petals bounced as she hustled after them. She looked back fearfully at Lucille and Acacia, her cheeks red from the cold.

"O-oh... All right." Lucille smiled sheepishly, then caught up with the group, Acacia and Hibiscus trailing close behind. "Is there anything we can do to help you guys? Are you sure you're not hurt, children?"

Rocky shook his head irritably. "We're okay." he said, his voice low and gruff. Acacia rolled her eyes.

"I know you're not," she said, "you're all covered in bruises and shivering from the cold. We should really rest for the night... You know it's not healthy to push yaself too hard, hun."

(also do you guys care if I add a new character later on 😱)

Hibiscus beamed. "I'll do it!" she ran off to a nearby evergreen tree, inspected it carefully, and used Cut on a thin part of the trunk. "Everyone, watch out!" she shouted. The wood was sliced cleanly in two, and the top portion slid off and plummeted to the ground with a solid THUNK.

"Acacia! Come over here!" she chimed proudly. Acacia huffed snootily and strutted over to the fallen tree. "Use Vine Whip to tie the tree down, and create a net over one of the sides. Like a pillow fort!" Hibiscus commanded.

Without a word, Acacia did just that. The vine net draped over the tree like a large blanket. "Okay, I'll secure it." New vines sprouted from the ground and tied the top half of the tree horizontally to the stump, almost like a tent. It was unbelievably sturdy, and created a sort of tree-cave for them to sleep in for the night.

They all thought about the fact that they never thought about doing that with that other tree. Mason wanted to face palm.

They all bounded over to the tree tent and tested if they all fit. it was really crammed.they soon figured out only up to 4 pokemon would fit in the tent. the sun was setting, and rocky started a fire.

rocky:

"this is a decent tent."

mason:

"i know right? i would have never thought of doing THIS instead of simply sleeping next to a tree."

rocky laughed.

shae:

"so...what's for dinner?"

mason:

"i could go look for berries. but i doubt i will find any."

ty:

"i'll come with you."

mason:

"ok."

it was colder that night than yesterday, and let me tell you, it was COLD.

They noticed some stars in the sky. they all formed a beautiful pattern. was it the aurora borealis? no, they weren't in the arctic circle. or was it the aurora borealis?

they found a small bush of dry, cold and hard berries, but there were only about 6. they brought them back anyways. they warmed up to the point where they wont chip your teeth on mason's paw. they headed back.

Mason:

"i found some berries...but only 6....."

Nepgear and Sparklecore thawed themselves out of the ice. They walked over to them, but they just fainted again because the ice went into their organs.

"There's no need for violence..." Lucille started to say, but she didn't finish her sentence. She had been silent all evening, looking wistfully into the snow.

"Lucille?" Hibiscus asked, shivering, "Are you all right, dear?" Lucille was normally very kind and always offering help, but she was completely stoic after the fight with Kaka.

"Ah. It's fine." Lucille said, not looking at Hibiscus, "I just feel bad for harming Kaka. Even though he's a bad Pokemon, and even though I didn't hurt him that much..." She shivered, and looked at Nightmare. "I still feel bad for even thinking of hurting another Pokemon. I won't let him hurt you."

Acacia was fiddling with Team Verdant's treasure bag. "We're such a high-ranking rescue team..." she grumbled, "But we don't even have one measly revive left. How embarrassing. Sorry, Cosina and Mason. We thought we were prepared for this." She slicked her hair back and put her bandana back on.

"We have a base about 7 miles back, but that would sidetrack our pursuit of Kaka. Do you want to go there?" Hibiscus asked the group.
