Hibiscus, Acacia and Lucille all remained in the Boulder Quarry, light filtering down through the crag and warming their leafy skin. The faint pulsing noise of the nearby Time Gear reverberated through the dim cavern, relaxing the nerves of the weakened rescue team. It was pleasant to be in such a placid area in the pit of such an immensely dangerous dungeon such as this.

Lucille shuddered, trying to tend to her deep wounds. Hibiscus whispered a healing wish under her breath while tightly clutching Acacia's hand. Acacia remained silent, fearful thoughts sifting through her mind as she held on to her bandana.

"Hibiscus..." Acacia muttered, "I think we should leave Lucille alone for a while, she's been through a lot."

"Mhm." Hibiscus said quietly, squeezing her hand tighter and fighting back tears. She didn't want to leave Lucille to her own devices, but it was the least she could do.

"Would it make you feel any better if we went to see the Time Gear? It's right up ahead." Acacia said. After a few moments of silence, she added, "This is the end of the dungeon." Hibiscus nodded, and the two proceeded onward to the next room, where the Time Gear patiently awaited their arrival.

Hibiscus and Acacia entered the chamber, and the pale light of the Time Gear flooded the room. It shone on their faces with a gentle teal tint, and their hearts raced in its presence. It pulsated with a glow so pure, so powerful, that they were taken aback by it. They hadn't been near a Time Gear in a long time.

"Wow..." Acacia stammered, her eyes glued to the Time Gear. An overwhelming sensation pulverized her body. The power to rob the gear from its rightful place, to paralyze the surrounding area... Was right there in her hands.

Flandre created a flame sword. She grabbed it and pointed its tip at Rocky.
"If you don't put me down...THIS THING!!!!!!!!"
She put the tip on Rocky's fur a millisecond and made it disappear after that.

Guys, let's keep this closer to PMD canons. We can't just keep throwing in random places like mansions and cities, we have to stick to places that are actually in the games. I've been trying my best to keep to already existing locations, but I've grown tired of trying to divert the plot to something that fits the canon.

I don't want to sound mean, but please try to keep this as realistic to the actual Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world as we can! 😊

"Have you heard of the Temporal Tower?" Hibiscus whispered, breaking the silence. "Apparently, the Time Gears are supposed to be at the top of it, but now they're scattered throughout the world."

Acacia looked over at Hibiscus, bewildered. "Are you trying to say that you want to return them there!?" she stammered, "Are you crazy? What if it doesn't work! We'll just make the planet's paralysis even quicker!"

"I know, but I heard a rumour back at the guild that it's true!" Hibiscus said, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "Two young Pokémon and a Grovyle were discussing it. They looked really serious about it, too."

"Go on." Acacia said, skeptical. Hibiscus hesitated for a second, and it was silent in the pallid glow of the Gear. She spoke up again.

"Apparently," Hibiscus said, racking her brain trying to remember what had been said, "The Time Gears are not supposed to be here at all! If they stay here, the flow of time will become fragile and eventually collapse if they aren't returned to the pinnacle of Temporal Tower."

"No way! That's just a whack rumour." Acacia snorted. "Anyway, keep talking. I want to hear the rest."

"Um... You know Primal Dialga? The tyrant that rules the paralyzed future... OUR future?" Hibiscus continued, her petals glistening in the mint blue light, "He's at the top of the tower, trying to prevent anyone from returning the gears. If time is paralyzed, then he will live forever and never age. That's what he's trying to accomplish. He wants to live out what happens in our future! At least, that's what I heard."

Remilia, however, was totally knocked out and unconscious. You could see a picture of a small heart pierced by 4 arrows located on her head.

The nurse took one glance at it and shook her head.
"They appear to have experienced some sort of power that twisted their memories and made it painful. I believe that they'll have to be sent to the hospital for checks and evaluation."

Lucille stretched out her body, rejuvenated from the sun rays filtering down on her leaves through the crag. She flinched as a wave of crippling pain tore through her body, and she crumpled on the rocky cave floor once again. Her feelers gyrated curiously as she attempted to recover, trying to sense the presence of the Time Gear lying before her in the Boulder Quarry.

She forced herself upright, her eyes watering from the pain of her past injuries, but managed to stand up straight. She looked back and realized that she was vulnerable to wild Pokemon, or worse, if the Aggron and Lairon returned. She decided to duck into the Time Gear's chamber to protect herself and reunite her with her team.

Hibiscus and Acacia spun around to greet Lucille, but before they could say anything, the area was engulfed in an unsettling burst of light. When the light faded, the Time Gear was gone and a long trail sprawled out in front of them. From deep in the tunnel, a Zoroark's cry could be heard.

"Argh!" Acacia shouted in frustration, her cotton puff expanding angrily. "So this whole thing was an illusion set up by a Zoroark!? This was so stupid!"

Lucille looked blankly into the tunnel, thinking deeply. "This just means that the Time Gear must be further ahead." she said gently, "Look, there's diverging paths. Which route should we take..?"

"Go right!" Hibiscus bursted enthusiastically, "It's gotta be right. I know it!"

"Ugh, all right. Let's go." Acacia huffed, her hair flattening back to normal size. The team departed to the right without a word.

After departing through the right path's trail, Team Verdant found themselves right where they started, at the fork in the road. The two paths were actually a giant U-Turn!

"What!?" Hibiscus said, startled. "No waaay! I thought I was totally right!"

"Hm..." Lucille murmured, pondering the situation deeply. She walked up and examined the wall between the two diverging tunnels. Moss covered the damp cave wall and spilled onto the rocky ground beneath her insectile feet. Her antennae gyrated curiously as she put one of her leafy hands on the moss.

"I've seen this kind of puzzle before." Lucille said without breaking eye contact with the mossy wall. "I've explored a place called Star Cave in the past, and there was something that seemed like a dead end, but was actually just a sealed-off tunnel. Perhaps... This is the same sort of thing?"

"You've been to Star Cave!?" Hibiscus gasped, envious. She had always wanted to go there and meet the legendary Pokemon Jirachi that supposedly lived there. "Did you get a wish granted by Jirachi?"

"No, but that's besides the point." Lucille replied, trying to feel out a weak spot in the cavernous wall. "We need to attack this spot right here all at once. The barrier should crumble and we can proceed."

Acacia, without hesitation, sashayed over to the wall to see where the spot she should attack was. A dull indent in the limestone wall could be felt beneath her palm, right in the middle of the two tunnels. She stepped back and lowered her head, about to charge into it with her curled, forest green horns.

"No need for that. I can take it down myself!" Acacia declared confidently. She ran full-force into the wall and crashed, leaving nothing but a tiny crack. "Never mind." she lolled. Hibiscus stifled a laugh, clasping her hand over her mouth sheepishly.

"Acacia!" Lucille stammered, "Are you okay?" Acacia held up a thumbs-up sign and staggered to her feet.

"You're right, we need to work together to accomplish this, heh heh!" Acacia laughed, rubbing her injured horns gently.

"I'm glad you're okay, but that was pretty funny." Hibiscus giggled, "But, let's get serious. On three, we all attack. One, two... Three!"

Team Verdant prepared their attack, and charged into the wall at full power. Lucille slammed into the wall with Slash, and Hibiscus and Acacia bombarded it with Seed Bomb. The wall crumbled and a long path opened up before them.

they all noticed that as they got closer to the hospital, the city was bigger, brighter and more exciting. the nearest hospital was downtown.
