Toby loved water, so he was really enthusiastic aboot the ride. Cosina liked it too, because she could absorb spare water, and I could add a little electricity anytime, so I liked it too.

Lucille smiled politely. "I'm going to have to pass on this one, I'm not really a fan of water..." she shrugged. Acacia nodded in agreement.

"I'll wait it out. I can't really get my cotton puff wet, or it will frizz up and look like a trainwreck!" she laughed sheepishly. "Our team doesn't really have time for... Distractions, like this."

"Count me out, too." Hibiscus added, and curtseyed politely. "We had actually come to agreement to try and find the Fogbound Lake, so we'll be around that area instead. Come along if you wish." She spun around briskly on her toe and strolled away. Lucille and Acacia followed, Acacia's cotton-puff hair bouncing as she walked.

When the ride was almost finished, it suddenly stopped. Toby jumped off into the water to figure out why. "Be careful you don't get crushed!" I called.

He came back up. "There's something in the track clogging up the slide," he reported. "something big and dark. I couldn't quite catch what it was."

Toby went back in and pushed the coaster back a little. the mystery Pokémon popped out. "Luya!?" gasped Toby.

(Luya is a Lotad by the way--we have lots of friends)

Lucille bumped into a large statue of a Pokemon.

"S-sorry!" she stammered, "Oh, it's just a statue..." She carefully examined the statue, and saw a small plate with footprint runes engraved on it.

She read the text.

Reignite the life that burned within Groudon...
Then the sky shall blaze with the sun's heat...
The path to treasure shall be revealed.

"Hey, Acacia! Hibiscus! I think I found something that has something to do with Fogbound Lake!" she exclaimed. "Come here, look!"

Acacia and Hibiscus ran over to the statue. "Let me read it!" they both shouted, like two little kids fighting over a toy. Acacia's eyes widened. "Treasure!" she sang, "This must mean the treasure of Fogbound Lake! But what's this jazz about igniting the life within Groudon..?"

Hibiscus silently walked over to the other side of the statue. "T-there's a huge, gaping hole in the chest of the statue!" she gasped, "Do you think this is the Groudon that the statue was talking about?"

"I-I'm fine..." stammered Luya.

"What happened?" demanded Cosina. "Why were you stuck there unable to move?"

"There's something wrong with that haunted house," he whimpered. "there was no line, so I went in... then there were these weird Psychic Pokémon that teleported me all the way up into the sky. Thank Arceus I managed to fall in water."

Asriel and Frisk made it out of the dungeon, with new skills and advanced in a few levels. The dungeon's path closed for them for a month.
"Guess that's it..." Asriel looked at the sealed exit. There was force field that prevented them from going in.
The two decided to explore around the area, hoping to find somebody.

Ena was laying in a comfortable nest of grass and leaves she had made for herself. Jazz and Minny were in their own nests to the left and right of her. A small fire they had set up was crackling not far off. Ena leaned forward to bask in its heat.

"...I can't believe those idiotic, dumb, cowards..." Pix huffed, stalking back and forth along the camp they'd set up. Fire was literally bursting out of her mouth as she spoke. "...they left in the middle of a battle then abandoned us..." Pix continued to rage, her words becoming jumbled and she started to spit out some curse words.

Ena shook her head. She felt a mixture of amusement, worry, and annoyance towards Pix's reaction. She glanced at Minny pleadingly. Hoping that she might be able to calm Pix down.




Minny gazed at Pix with concerned expression on her face. Sensing eyes on her, Minny looked up to see Ena. Realizing that Ena expected her to calm Pix, she sighed and stood up from her moss nest. Minny padded towards the enraged Vulpix, keeping a slight distance so that she wouldn't accidentally get burned.

"Pix come and sit down," she pleaded, reaching out a paw in Pix's direction. "There's some left over gummies you can eat." Minny started using Aromatherapy hoping that it would help too, along with the food offer.

Pix's expression softened a bit. "Fine," she muttered. Pix stalked to her nest and laid down. "But im still angry about those idiots." She grabbed the treasure bag and plucked a gummie out of it. Pix devoured it in one bite, then started rummaging in the bag for another one.

Minny turned her head for a moment so the others wouldn't see how relieved she was. She smiled faintly at Pix then laid her head down. Minny closed her eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep.

Hibiscus looked around.

"Reignite the life..." she muttered to herself, "Maybe it has to do with fire, or maybe finding the heart of the statue!" She absentmindedly wandered through the foggy clearing, and suddenly saw a strange, scarlet light filter through the haze. As she approached, she realized that it was a glowing stone!

She picked it up cautiously. It was very heavy for being such a small stone, but it pulsated with a curious orange light, like someone trapped a firefly in a jar. It was pleasantly warm to the touch, and looked like it would fit perfectly in the cavity in the Groudon statue's chest.

She hurried over to the statue, stumbling over a few obstacles and ran right into it. She dizzily shook her head and examined her petals to make sure they weren't scratched, careful not to drop the mysterious stone. After she recovered, she put the stone directly into the hole in Groudon's heart. A beam of light erupted from the statue's eye and the ground shook. Lucille screamed fearfully, and Acacia was shouting at her to calm down.

Suddenly, the beam of light exploded, filling the sky with blinding brightness. Then, it suddenly vanished, as soon as it had came. The fog was gone, and a huge, bowl-like mountain with waterfalls spilling off the sides came into view. Steam poured out of crevices in the mountain's face, and a large, steamy-looking cavern stretched out before Team Verdant.

The loud cry of a Swellow startled Jazz awake. Wrenching her eyes open Jazz stood up and tried to stretch her stiff shoulder. She clenched her teeth in pain. The wound hadn't fully healed already, regardless of Minny using Synthesis before on it.

Jazz yawned and glanced around the hastily set up camp they'd set up last night. The fire was now just slowly dying embers and charcoal. Minny, and Ena were snoring softly. Pix was curled up with the treasure bag, a half eatened gummie hanging out of her mouth.

Jazz smiled and carefully took the treasure bag away from the sleeping Vulpix. She nudged Pix gently. "Pix," she murmured softly. "Its morning. We're going to have to leave soon." Pix's eyes fluttered open for a secound. She groaned and burrowed her head under her paws. Jazz smiled in amusement then went to wake the others up.

Minny woke up with a sigh then stumbled to the treasure bag. She grabbed a apple out of it and began to chew it slowly. Ena stood up in an almost robotic way and stared around with a blank look on her face.

"Who-aaaawn stood watch last night?" Jazz asked the others through a yawn. The group just stared at her with sleepy eyes.



"Lets go!" Pix shouted to the others, now fully awake. After a long breakfast Team Dimension had packed up camp and were now ready to begin traveling again. The others sleepily stumbled after Pix.

"Where are we going?" Minny asked Jazz. She trotted in a steady pace behind Ena. Pix turned her head to look at the Eevee and Shaymin. She was wondering the same question.

"I really don't know.." Jazz said sheepishly as they walked. "I was going to buy a new map but then that Litwick ditracted us.."

Pix cursed. "So we're lost again?" She huffed. She shook her head in disbelief.

"ok....so you're ok now?"

shae remembered the faint call that the small group of pokemon called out, but she was to far away to seperate it from the rest of the noises. she said nothing and quickly jumped off the ride, landing on her feet and running in that direction.

the others quickly noticed this and jumped out of the ride, running after her.

ty:

"i dont know where shes going, but lets follow!"

a few minutes later, they were out of the fair. shae tried to pick out the fading scent of when they came here earlier and followed it like a train on its tracks. rocky looked forward to this. he wanted to fight ssomeone.

she was out of the city about 20 minutes after that, and sniffed around, picking up the scent the left behind once more. she ran through the field. she slowed to a hault when they got to where they last were, looking around like she was looking for something. she sat down and sighed.

rocky:

"why did you come here?"

shae:

"i dont know. i kinda feel bad for that team we saw earlier. i thought i heard a faint call from them in the distance buti couldnt seperate it from other noises."

rocky sat down next to her.

shard:

"should we go apologize, and help?"

there was a short moment of silence.

shae:

"sure! i'd be glad to, because they could gain our trust again." she said, standing up and walking around again, trying to get their scent.

shae picked up ena's scent from when she was injured and followed that, going in lots of loops, but eventually a straightaway. she padded along, sniffing the scent all they way til she actually found them and padded around then, coming in front, but to the side.

shae:

"i'm sorry that we ran off, and to be honest, i did hear you guys calling us, but i couldnt pick it out from all the background noise to hear. as a real apology, i do have some gummies."

shae had no idea if that would work or not. she got the small treasure bag off her back and got all of the gummies out. there was about 16.

Pix turned her head in suprise at all the other Pokémon appeared. She glared at Shae reproachfully. "You left in the middle of a battle and now you think gummies will make it all better?" She growled in disgust. "Jazz got hurt!"

"Pix," Jazz protested. Ena stayed silent and watched the others with a cautious eye. Minny put her paw on Pix's shoulder. Pix shook it off angrily.


Minny winched as the others they'd seen earlier appeared. It was too soon. Pix was still furious.

"Don't mind Pix," she said politely. "She's just a bit angry today. Thanks for all the gummies and berries." Pix shook her head with a disgusted look in her face. Minny ignored her reaction.

Minny gathered all the items they'd offered to them and placed them in their treasure bag. "We have to go." She said, motioning for her teammates to leave. "Come on Pix." Minny nudged Pix forward and she hesitantly started to walk again. She smiled solemly at team Universe and Sparkilation as they left.

Minny sighed in relief as they walked away. She was glad Pix hadn't put much of a fight up for once. They trotted along the trees, eventually coming to a flat, open meadow. Minny inhaled the sweet scent of budding flowers.

"Do you think we should of at least asked them for directions?" Jazz whispered to Minny as they walked across the meadow.

Minny stopped for a moment to admire a large cluster of pretty purple flowers. She shook her head at Jazz. "No, we're better off like this. You know how much Pix hates having to ask for help. Even from her friends." Minny murmured softly. She nudged a wilted flower and it sprang up, now bright shade of red with its petals blooming magnificently. "Anyways, it's very pretty here."



Pix stopped. She'd just realized that Minny and Jazz weren't behind her anymore. Fearing the worst she turned and sighed in relief when she saw them just a few paces behind. Nudging Ena, she trotted back to them.

"What are you guys doing?" Ena asked, trailing behind Pix.

Minny looked up as if she'd just realized they were there. "Oh hi!" She said cheerfully. "Look at these flowers! Aren't they pretty?" She motioned to a patch of daffodils.

Pix glanced down in suprise at the flowers. She'd been too distracted to notice them. "I guess.." Pix said, wondering why they were talking about flowers when they could be exploring.

"Guys, we should be going," Jazz pointed out.

Pix sighed in relief. "Ok!" She agreed. She started following Jazz with Ena beside her. Minny sighed and hesitantly followed them.

The ground shook violently still, but the giant mountain stayed perfectly still. Hibiscus and Acacia toppled to the ground, clutching onto eachother in fear. Lucille elegantly dodged falling debris and scooped up her cowering teammates, ducking into the steamy cavern. It was easily over 90 degrees in there, and steam escaped from nearly every vent in the cave.

A Slugma aggressively approached them, sluggishly oozing out of a crevice in the ground. It stared at them with yellow eyes, magma bubbles swelling up and popping on its back. Smoke hissed out of the popping bubbles like steam out of boiling water. Acacia reluctantly let go of Hibiscus and used Giga Drain on it.

"It's..." she stammered, "It's not doing anything..." The Slugma hissed and flung a glob of lava at Lucille, who barely avoided the attack.

"W-we should just run away!" Hibiscus shouted, grabbing Acacia by the hand and sprinting to the nearest flight of stairs. Lucille followed, using a Warp Orb on the Slugma to make sure it didn't follow them.
