Egg happiness steadily decreasing

OK so I've had an account on egg cave for about 2 weeks now, and I've fed my eggs every day, yet the happiness has been slowly decreasing over time despite my feeding them. like for example, day 1 the happiness is 100, i feed them. day 2, the happiness is 90, i feed them but it only brings it back up to 95. This decline in happiness has added up, and now some of my eggs are below 50. Is there another way to accumulate happiness for my eggs?

To help increase happiness you can take your creatures to Tim's Food Shoppe, which is located under the Shops link and in Ark City.

It costs 75 EC per creature per day and will increase your creature's happiness to 100.

You can also make friends and get them to feed your eggs sometimes.

You can also put at least 10 of your eggs into the click exchange, but you have to feed other eggs for yours to get fed too.

Another thing is if you buy food for your creatures from the food shop or bakery, you can raise their happiness a little. It's not much but it might help
