How did you find Egg Cave?

So, a long time ago there was this topic that had people talk about how they found EC. Since it's been a while and there's lots of new people on here, I felt like asking this.

How did you find Egg Cave? And what made you sign up?

I personally found EC when I was ten. I was searching for some new sites to play on, especially since I had a shiny email address that I could go on. I came across this list of pet adoptable sites and happened to stumble on EC.

I stayed because the role playing forum interested me since it was new to me and the fact that kids under 13 could sign up (Although now that wouldn't matter because I'm 14.)

Although I don't roleplay anymore, I stay because nowadays, EC is like a home base, something I go on everyday. It's like a start page nowadays.

I have no idea. I remember I was looking for new sites and I think I was trying to find an adoptable site. EggCave was green and pretty new. I didn't think I'll stay long so that's way my username is iceiceice (cause it's easy to remember).

@lucid, I found eggcave in 2013, when I was 14. 😊

I noticed a add on Neopets, and I thought the animals/creatures looked cool, so I tried it out. 😸 I instantly loved it, and formed a sever case of eggcave addiction. XD


I enjoyed it alot because of the creativeness, especially the fact that they let users enter in creature ideas. 😱 That was pretty cool to me cause I am full of imagination and love drawing. 😃

I liked that I could talk to other players easily, and trading was easier. Now I come on here at least once a day. ❤️

I had stumbled on a forum somewhere quite a few years ago and noticed some clickables in someone's signature. I thought they were cute so I clicked on them. They brought me here and I made an account and had some eggs, I forgot about the site and my old account until a couple years ago when I was bored. I desperately tried to remember the name of the site and finally found it again. Never was able to find my first account but I made this one and I've been an active player since. 😊

I found Egg Cave during my time on The Pokemon Moon RPG with Egg Cave appearing as an advertisement. At first I just looked at it with the Mo and Yuki looking absolutely adorable and one day after staring at the advertisement, I just knew I had to join!

I was brought to Egg Cave through a link in someone's siggy on another forum (I'm 99% sure it was Jellyneo's).

I signed up because it was interesting looking, and stayed because it was different to anything else I was doing. That soon turned in to some sort of guilt fueled stubbornness. I just couldn't stand to see my creatures die!!! There has always been this sort of challenge to keep everyone happy and healthy with minimal assistance.

I've only recently started branching out into the social side of things.

@lucid I had just moved across the country and was looking for some online friends so I didn't feel so alone. I've been on Neopets since I was in kindergarten, so I went back there. I felt like everyone there was either much too old or too young for me to really fit in, but I saw an egg on someone's profile and clicked it. This community is a lot more welcoming and easygoing-at least in my opinion-, I like the art more here, the freestyle trading, and the "unlimited" pets. So here I am, though I'm still pretty new.

I found the site by complete accident back when it was green...have stayed ever since. I was attracted to the unlimited pets part, and love how the site has grown.

I was clicking through a click exchange site for creatures I have on another site when I noticed or different the EC is. So I signed up to delve deeper in, and find myself wanting to find all the rare babies I can. >.<

It was early 2012 so, my memory is kind of blurred, but I can remember I was ten and was constantly looking for virtual pet websites since apparently, DS games have never been enough entertainment in my life. When I signed up, I was pretty disappointed that eggies could die if left unattended so, I quit.

Rediscovered in 2013, as a twelve year old. I rediscovered it on a forum that I no longer go on. I really, really loved this site back then. Ah, nostalgia.

I was looking for a new site to play since I lost my job back then (I find a new job haha) And I came out on this. I alsow found several eggs in someones signature on another site that made me curious
