The Pokémon Daemons of Golden Compass

Another Pokémon RP... basically, The Golden Compass is a fantasy novel aboot a parallel world where all humans have an animal spirit called daemons. The daemons are like an extension of the human's soul, and unless they're a witch, the daemons can't go too far away from their humans. Some characters in that world and ours travel through portals into each other's worlds.

This RP isn't aboot that world... it's aboot a world where all humans have a daemon too, but it's a Pokémon! You can go through portals too if you like, just don't make the portals too obvious. Your daemon's species should correspond with your human's personality; for example, a sneaky, mischievous young person would have a Zorua.

Rules

- standard RP rules
- please try to do your best with grammar
- nothing past crushes
- no godmodding even if your daemon is a legendary
- if you die your daemon dies, and vise versa
- if you leave please leave in character too
- ONLY ONE DAEMON ALLOWED! All other Pokémon will be considered as pets.

Personality: Her personality is that of a graceful swan, she is kind and loving. She's also loyal, however when she is angry she tends to have an extremely sharp tongue, not hesitating to insult someone. Her Sylveon has a slightly milder way of speech when mad, but both have hypercritical manners of anger speech.

human appearence: short-medium height, tomboy, backwards flat billed cap that has a black bill and the rest is a lighter gray, has a batman symbol on the front. gray t shirt and a darker gray jacket. dark jeans, but they are loose around the ankles. black sneakers. a silver watch. brown eyes and dark brown hair thats short-medium length. oddly enough, she carries a golden machette (did i spell that right?) but she ties a small string to one of her belt loops to carry it (lol idk) chews gum a lot, a few cobalt blue streaks in hair, she is thin

daemon appearance: black where a normal electrike would be yellow, gray where a normal elecctrike would be green, has a black spike collar

personality: outgoing, fighter, tomboy, she isnt usually the one to run up to someone and "hey bruh! sup mah homie?" but she will talk to someone if she knows them. she tries to make good comebacks and when she does, she usually gets the higher ground above an opponent (not literally).
pokemon personality: very outgoing, but wont hesitate to kill someone if they are a foe. loves fights (usually) but once you get to know him, he's a great friends and will usually be nice.

By "only one daemon", I mean that each human can only have one daemon, but if you have multiple characters they each have one daemon.

The blinds were shut tight, letting nothing but a few slimmers of morning light filter into the dark room. Zac stared blankly at their computer screen, trying to make some sense out of the unreadable code that stretched down further than any tech genius worth their salt would care to read. They hadn't slept all night while trying to figure out how it was able to work, as it seemed to be nothing but chicken scratch.

"It just doesn't make sense." they said to themself, petting Lanthanum absentmindedly on one of its heads. "Who could've sent this to me, and how could it have infested my computer so quickly? It's nothing but the same binary code over and over again. That's not even a valid format for binary!"

Lanthanum's other head nudged the head getting pet out of the way, eager for some attention from its human extension. They both made a frustrated grunting noise, as if it was angry at the errant code as well.

fang:

"i dont know. but im kinda tired." he said, laying on his stomach with his legs close to his sides, plopping his head on the bed.

tristan:

"its ok. let me go get breakfast."

right now, the idea of breakfast sounded good to fang, so helifted his head, watching tristan as she left the room and followed her. of course, she didnt usually eat cereal. in fact, she didnt have any foods specificly "marked" 'breakfast.' today, fang wondered what she would get. when she pulled out ice cream from the freezer, fang started bouncing. he followed her to the couch like she was the main part of a train and he was one of he carts that dragged behind it.

he backflipped onto the couch to show his excitement. then he ran around in a circle.

fang:

"can i have some? pleeeaase?"

tristan:

"ok fine."

she hurdle jumped over the back of the couch and grabbed 2 bowls and a spoon for herself, since fang couldnt use a spoon very well (for obvious reasons...). she ran up to her room and changed into her normal clothes. while she was gone, fang put on some kind of channel on the tv with all the latest vines and some of the trending vines and internet memes. so when tristan came downstairs, she heard 'they see me rollin'....they hatin'....patrolin' and tryin'-' before she came over and muted it. she loved vines, but she had a phone call. she grabbed her phone and went into another room. then fang unmuted it and there was 'this is SPARTA' on, to he watched the tv happily and tried using a spoon to get ice cream. after being successful, he just kept watching.

then there was this really funny new vine, and he laughed so hard that his face turned red, but it quickly cooled when he ended up falling off the couch and face planting into his ice cream. tristan came back over.

tristan:

"um...are you trying to make your own version of 'pie face?'"

fang lifted his head from the ice cream.

fang:

"there was this really funny vine.....and i fell off the couch in to my ice cream..."

tristan:

"whatever. im going outside."

tristan went outside. then she opened the door to get her jacket and went back out.

fang sighed and turned his atention back to the tv, and since tristan was gone, he turned up the volume kinda loud. then people on the nearby sidewalk could hear "whats 9 plus 10? .......21" really loudly.

then she could clearly hear 'rickroll' from inside the house. it was very loud.

Tristan overheard what they were saying, but didnt say anything about it. Then there was a really loud vine that almost made tristan jump. it was a moment of silence, then a CRASH! and then a bucnh of yelling. she wondered what fang was watching.

"watching memes and vines on this random new tv channel. since its not like he jumps out and fights crime or something, i dont have to keep track of him very often. there's no point in arguing with him. he will either ignore you and stay away from you or he will slash your face off. of course, i've been smart enough to back off and let him do what he likes most."

when it went to a more boring meme, fang jumped over the back of the couch and ran to the kitchen put the remaining ice cream in the freezer and ran back to watch more vines. he started doing tricks on the couch and accidently broke the glass table in front of it.

tristan:

"what was that? i heard a crash..."

tristan went inside her house to find that fang broke the glass table in front of the couch. she ran over.

tristan:

"what the heck were yu doing, fang?"

fang got up, shacking a few very tiny glass shards out of his fur.

fang:

"doing tricks...."

tristan:

"oh great...."

she got a broom and dust pan. then she picked up the biggest glass shards and brought them to the trash can outside. then she went back in and swept up all of the smaller ones, and finally grabbed her vaccum from the closet and vaccumed up the smallest glass pieces. she brought the dust pan to the trash can and dumped the glass shards out, put it back inside and came back outside.

fang jumped off the couch.

"please dont do that!" he slurred together, before dashing outside.

tristan came outside after him and closed the door.
