Anyone Know Any Good Virtual Sites?

As title suggests, I'm looking for a site with a virtual world. I'm looking for one because:
A few years ago, there was a virtual world on Nickleodeon called Nicktropolis. I didn't play it too much, usually only in October, because they had this thing called 'Shocktober', which I used to love.
I was a bit bummed when I went there last October, and they weren't doing Shocktober that year. Haven't played on there since. The site was also losing publicity.
So, I just thought about it today, and a few minutes ago I went to check and see how it's doing. Turns out, Nicktropolis had been closed. I saw it coming, though.
So now I'm looking for some sort of virtual site, which would be aporpriate for my age, also which is free, doesn't make computers dreadfully slow, and preferably includes wolves/werewolves, but other than that, just tell me some sites.
So, does anyone have any good Virtual World suggestions for me? 😃

@Crooton1 *facepalm* Dude. Virtaul world: Site that's 3D and you can walk around with some sort of avatar in a bunch of different places. And I don't really wanna sign up for Glitter Mammals right now. :/

@Dreamer: Maybe you'd like Subeta.net 😊 It's a fun adoptables site and has some pets that are wolf-like. ...But here are some bloody things (as in BloodRed colored pets).

(It's not a 3D walk around site, though.)

@Pipkitten Actually, I made an account on Subeta a while ago. 😱 It was okay, just a bit confusing for me. I don't go on too much anymore. o.o

I'm also looking for a site where you have an avatar and you can walk it around in different places, that's the site I'm looking for.

I think that gaiaonline.com lets you walk around places... It's been awhile, so my memory's a bit foggy.

Subeta.com was confusing. /:
Marapets.com was awful.
Gaia is pretty amazing, but has rude people.
Same for Neopets.
Clubpenguin is for five year olds.
As for Webkinz.
(At least to me)

I was never too keen on sites like that xD
There's Furcadia where you make your own anthropomorphic avatar. I tried it out like ages ago and have no idea if it's still up and running.

What your looking for is called an MMORPG: Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, aka virtual world where you interact with people while playing a game. Some are hard core like World of Warcraft (sound familiar? 😋) and others are more casual like Perfect World. Both of which I've never played 😋

There's a couple iPod apps that might fit your category, so look under roleplaying in the app store. I recommend Order and Chaos online (medieval fantasy has elves, orc, etc. You can be) and there's magic and all that but there are some immature people (you can disable chat) 0_0 And it's $6.99.

As far as computer games go just google MMORPG and you're set to go. There are a LOT, and with like every theme you can possibly imagine (yush wolves too 😋) 0_0 I've found a few I like but I get bored quickly so I can't recommend a good one 😋 Speaking of that I need to find a new game to play~!

Hmm, let's see:
I used to play Club Penguin. But like @Chatial said, you need to pay for membership to get the cool stuff.
I gave up on Club Penguin a few years ago.
Webkinz? I liked that when I was like 8, I had over 40 of them. Only now, it's childish and just a money trap.
You need to buy more Webkinz to expand your account use.
If you spend a certain time not getting Webkinz, yor account expires. If you don't get a new Webkinz within 30 days of the expiration, the account, your pets, AND your items are deleted.
I stopped playing a LONG time ago. Plus, almost everything on there is needed with money.
And I have like 45 Webkinz, I'll bet you my account is already history because I abandoned it for a few years.
It's just pathetic.
I play Neopets, although I've stopped a bit. I prefer not to use neoboards or Neomail there, since many users are rude and judgemental.
Petpet Park was terribly slow.
EggCave? *two thumbs up*
Subeta: Confusing to me.
Resreatu: I liked it, but the creatures die too quickly. >.<
And I've never heard of Fantage.

Gaia: has a nice game called zOMG, its fun xD
Meez: Has a couple of mean people, trolls, etc but if you find the right people its not bad(you have to be 13+ for both gaia and meez btw)
those are the two main sites I use other than eggcave 😊

Lets see....
I like Toontown, but you may find it a bit childish. And since I'm a member, I can do much more than you can do. However, some member features are available to non-members, and I hear now they can access what used to be membership-only areas. And the colorful graphics, as well as the amusing gags, make it a game that, even as a non-member, you'll want to play. So very appealing *_* I got HOOKED when I was 8....

You may like Dizzywood, but I just stopped playing a while ago because it got WAY too repetitive. Similar to Club Penguin, really....

Maplestory is quite very fun, since it has the colorful graphics of Toontown, and yet has the socialising theme of Dizzywood. However, unlike Toontown, it is quite the 2D game here, and may take a long time to download - took an hour for me, and I have REALLY fast Internet. Toontown took me 2 seconds to download! XD As well as that, sometimes levelling up takes really repetitive tasks...

Toontown name (main player): Jennifer Pretty Girl ( A VERY outdated name. I like privacy, so it's just JPG, ok?)
Maplestory name: SnowyMountai and CutieSnooty

As well as that, I watch the Simpsons @iwtso.com whenever I feel bored. Actually, I listen to it while playing Egg Cave! XD Also, I hear @mangyrawr and @evilyowling play World of Warcraft and Howrse. WoW sounds interesting, but Howrse 's idea of breeding horses doesn't really appeal to me, so I doubt it won't to you.

@Cubexline Yeah, I used to have Nicktrop. xD Moonstars6 seems familiar for some reason... 😱 When it came out I saw a commercial, and I ran over to try it. I stoped playing though, only for Shocktober and Shocktober 2. But they didn't have Shocktober 3, so I just quit the site after that. xD
For Gaia, a few people have suggested it, I can definitely find my way around the 13+ rule, so there's no problem with that. xD For Meez? I'll have to try that out too. 😋

@Celeste Yeah, I tried getting on Toontown a few years ago, but there was something that wouldn't let it download onto my computer. o.o And I'm usually not a huge fan of Disney Games that are like that, but if I ever can download it, I might try it. I dunno.
I've never heard of Dizzywood, though. But if it IS similar to CP, it might not be the best. xD
Maplestory seems nice, and I've heard of it before. The only problem is the downloading time. xD I'm not allowed to download things on my laptop like that, nevermind it taking an hour and needing some sort of software or something? 😱
WoW I've heard of, but it seems a little... Iffy. Like if I got caught on a site like that... Eek. o.o

@dreamer I think Neopets is nice,but you get bored of the game and there's like not much stuff to do and PetpetPark,I tried and its boring too you should be able to teleport not walk around!It takes too much time.
