Silver woke up and caught up to them, but stayed away from the city.
"Hey! What if this is a trap? You can't just run into a place without being prepared!"

"I'd know if the city was a trap! I'm a city boy!" Zero exclaimed.

When they got to the city, they figured out it was a normal city with Pokemon walking around in it, talking to each other and living normal lives.

Scorpio walked through the forest. He wasn't sure what to do. His dream still haunted him. Scorpio stomach growled. He saw an emolga, and eyed it hungrily. Realizing what he was doing, he growled at himself and went in search of some berries.

Belladonna marched over to the group and glared at them. A Dark Army badge fastened to her chest gleamed in the morning sunlight.

"Halt!" She commanded, "Are you rebels against the Dark Army?"

Silver was just saying that she's paranoid about somebody from the Dark Army coming and somebody from the Dark Army came.
How convinient... She thought to herself. She couldn't bear herself to fight back. She's strong but unstable. If Silver could stand up a fight with somebody tougher, she could fight back, but scrapped that idea off the list. Maybe she could convince Volpina to join her - that is, if Silver could find her.

Volpina wandered around the forest, looking for any rebels in the forest. She was especially looking for Silver, so she could convince to to become one of the Dark Army.

"Negative," Belladonna replied, "And that information is classified, anyway. I will disclose one thing, though." She straightened her back, and the venomous barbs lining her body stood on end.

"I am a very important person in the Army, and I'll stop at nothing to eliminate those who defy its will," She explained, "So, are you rebelling against us or not?"

"...And what if we don't respond?" Silver prepared her fourth move. She had Protect, Shadow Ball, and Hyper Beam, and most importantly, Phantom Force. She wonders who her true parents are, because she remembers having it as a Shuppet, but never used it. Chance always gave her moves that could make her strong like Volpina, a Ninetales that wasn't with Chance, but is owned by another trainer that Chance was friends with. Volpina was stronger than Silver, so Silver trained Phantom Force. But Volpina is still tough.

"Silver...?" Volpina looked at Silver and Co. She was with someone else!
"I can't believe you'd leave me in that wretched place alone and with nobody to talk to!" She directed her Imprison towards Silver. Volpina's tails glowed with red at the tips, burning hot.
"You... traitor."
She released Overheat on Silver, and directly on Silver. She didn't bother aiming at others.

Silver looked at Hunter, Shade, Zero, and use Protect on all of them but her. She took the damage and suffered a burn.
"Volpina... I thought you were..." The Protect shattered, leaving her friends vunerable.

Volpina leaped towards Silver and used Payback on her. Then she blew fire around the rebels.
"Are you sure you can take care of these... Rebels? I'll go for the Banette... She's the one I'm looking for."

"You're not going to go anywhere, Volpina." Silver said out of the blue. Suddenly, a bright light enveloped her, and exploded and created a shockwave that somehow burned out the fire, creating Mega Banette.
"And you're not going to defeat me this time." Her eyes were red with rage, and vanishes from sight.

"Where is that fool...?" Volpina looked around, and tried to find Silver.

They walked off to the city [for whatever reason].
"I'm glad you suggested going to the city. this is awesome, and we could meet more Pokemon to help us out." Hunter said.
"The amount of 'friendly looking' Pokemon in a city doesn't mean they're all on our side," Troy countered.

"I don't think you're going to leave any time soon." Volpina grimaced at Zero and his companions. She used Inferno on them, which resulted in a fire circle surrounding them.
She chuckled, and a dark circle appeared below her, and was attacked by Silver.

"You...!" She used Payback on Silver, and Silver used Protect.

"What did I ever do to you? You stayed here on purpose, and you didn't care about me leaving!" Silver then used her Hyper Shadow Beam combo on Volpina. Charging a large beam of light, she created a still Shadow Ball in front of her, then shot it towards Volpina. Silver then used Hyper Beam at her.

"You left me here with barely anybody to talk to! You could've stayed here with me and never left!" She tried to block, but it was too late; the damage was done on Volpina.
"You barely even became stronger..."

Silver chased after the ones she followed with, and hurled a Shadow Ball near them.
"Why weren't you helping me? Volpina will kill us all! Don't say she won't, I know the fox!"

Speak of the devil, Volpina made it in front of Shade's friends, and used Overheat.
"Why are you fleeing from me? Are you afraid I might send you to back to the base and be caged up~?"

Hunter roundhouse kicked her in the face, and jumped over her, continuing to walk forward.

Scorpio heard shouting. "What's going on?" He ran towards the noise and saw the fight. He watched as Volpina attacked the others. Scorpio slinked toward them slowly, planning an attack. Then, he sent a quick ball of fire at Volpina, and hid behind a building.

Volpina dodged and used Payback and then chased after them.
"No, but you're a rebel. Rebels should be rid of this world. And besides, you're way out of my leauge. I can be able to beat you in a snap, but that would make things boring for me~" She then used Fire Blast on them, sustaining a burn. Volpina used her Hex, smiling at their burn, as it now hurt more than it should.
"Silly, silly. Why are you still fleeing? Are you considering yourself weak? Are you considering yourself pathetic? Are you considering yourself a chicken~?"

Silver then saw an attack head towards Volpina. She didn't want her to get hurt, and so she used Protect in front of her.
"Who's doing that...?"
She looked at the direction the attack was at, and prepared Phantom Force.
"At least it was fire. Volpina is fire, so it's just going to barely hurt somebody."
She then chastises the one who threw fire at her.
"Hey! Fighting fire with fire at a fire type is not a good idea, unless you want to be on fire!"

Scorpio was surprised at Silver's reaction. He stayed behind the building, not wanting to reveal himself yet. Scorpio decided to wait before he attacked again.

Silver sunk towards the ground, trying to find the source of the attack. She wasn't a psychic, but the opponent is not a few feet away.
She moved a few feet towards the source, and quickly Mega Evolved. Phantom Force was used nearby Scorpio from behind.
"There you are!" She evilly laughed, as if all the mega evolutions has gotten into her head.

"What? Just leave us alone!" Shade demanded.

"OK. I don't care what your name is, but you're being really cocky, and we don't care what you have to say. You're to weak for us to fight you, so that's why we're walking by. "

Scorpio let his body become a fire ball. He faced Silver.
"I don't know what's going on, but that ninetails is attacking Troy and the others. So either move out the way, help me, or share the same fate as her."

Much to their surprise, Hex is very accurate. Volpina's Hex attacked them either way.
"You're burns are pathetic. My burns are real and kills." cue shades that fall into Volpina's eyes and airhorns
"Didn't you realize Hex is accurate? Surprise, surprise. This is a kill or be killed world. I can fight anybody weak with nobody telling me otherwise~"

She combined Hyper Beam and Overheat, creating a large beam of orange light, and directed it towards the team as quickly as possible to prevent them from dodging quickly.

Silver rolled her eyes, and used Hyper Beam towards Scorpio.
"Them? They're weak. I gotta admit, they're too weak that I regret following them."

They dodged it barely and used a combo move: rock slide, thunder bolt, earthquake and aerial ace, sending towards her an electrified rock slide traveling fast, while the ground shook violently and they made their escape.

Volpina, because foxes are swift, dodged them like she's a feather.
"Silly you! Foxes are fast than slugs, didn't you know?" She stuck her tounge out, and broke the rocks with Hyper Beam. She quickly caught up to the group... Because she's a fox.

Silver spared Scorpio and flew towards the group. She became her normal self. She then created a force field made from Protect to dome in Volpina, her weakling group, and herself.
"Good thing Protect is strong to keep Volpina and some idiots in. Now you can't run away from her! Besides, I got Protect going on, and you can't make me break it! Pure energy will hurt you! And that's science." The dome of force field began to shrink. "And don't bother digging. Even the dome is affecting the ground. It's a bubble, what did you expect?!"

Volpina looked up at Silver.
"Why are you helping me...? Well, forget it! Now I can fight you and you won't flee!" She directed this to Troy's friends. Spinning around, she used Overheat towards them, like a drill.

Shade used dark pulse on Silver, causing the protect to break. "Traitor!"
They made another escape, successful this time. They got near the middle of the city by nightfall, blending into the crowds they couldn't walk through.
