For those of you who don't know what that is. We are in a wizarding school of magic! This school is called Hogwarts! We welcome all young and old witches and wizards to come, here you can learn about the magic of the world. Are you a Slytherin, RavenClaw, Gryffindor, or a Hufflepuff?

No cussing .
Keep it PG 13.
No god modding or Mary Sues.
Normal Egg cave rules.
Keep things realistic.
Be polite to other users.
No spamming for no reason
Keep discussions in the sign ups and roleplay replies in the RP thread.
Reply with at LEAST two or three sentences.
Side characters are ok, but you can't just let yourself use them, let others use them too and don't use them CONSTANTLY.
Crushes shall be allowed, but keep it appropriate and role play it out.

Iana's fists clutched tightly around the handles of her cart, turning white.
Five years and I still can't relax at the thought of going through a solid brick wall, she cided herself. It didn't help that her hair kept getting in her face. She had left it loose that morning due to lack of inspiration.
Iana ignored the strange looks she was getting from the people around her as she strolled to platform nine and three quarters. She'd never been a big fan of muggles. Was it really so weird to carry around a cart holding a oversized suitcase and a owl cage to a train station?



OOC: (Edit: @niale In case you didn't already know school for hogwarts starts on September 1st, and the train (I think) leaves at eleven'O clock)

Edit 2: (Wow now that the time has changed from 8 to 11 my character has to be on the train or else she's stranded.)

IC:
Iana sat back on the velvet cushion, staring out the window as the train started to move. Just inching along at first, then gradually gaining speed.
Wilbur screeched in protest from his cage, he had never liked the train ride. Iana would of let him out to fly outside, but he was an old family owl who couldn't fly too long distances.
Iana offered the snowy owl a treat through the cage bars to calm him.
Wilbur was glad to snatch up the treat. A bit TOO glad--- almost taking a portion of Iana's finger along with it.
Iana made a mental note to not feed him any more treats for the rest of the train ride, fearing the lost of her own fingers.

Heather sighed exhausted. After all the stress of nearly missing the train she finally had some relaxation. She sees people coming by her compartment and waves to some of them. Heather gets some chocolate frogs from a cart and sits back to enjoy them.

Zanna perched on the edge of her train seat. She had managed to snag an empty compartment, and was now shoved into the farthest corner she could access. Her cat curled up beside her as she idly ran a hand through his fur.

Atticus sat in a compartment with no one in it besides him and his sister Chloe. He glanced at his younger sister who had her head on his shoulder and was sleeping. The boy shook his head. He knew it was a bad idea for Chloe to pack everything last minuet. Atticus looked out the window and thought about what this year would bring.

Venus ran for the train with her bags of stuff. She ran and jumped onto a compartment. Breaking heavily after pulling a stunt like that. She climbed up waving a good bye to her brother on another train and her mother standing there waving a farewell.

Atticus nudged Chloe, gently trying to wake her up. "Hey are you awake? I think the snack person is coming by our compartment soon. Do you want anything?"

Starting to get bored, Iana grabbed a book from her trunk which she had laid out on the opposite site of her comparment. She a bit too short to reach the luggage shelf, and wasn't really one to ask for help.
Iana skimmed through the pages of Werewolves and Warlocks, wishing she had packed a more interesting read.

I walked down the train, trying to find an empty compartment. Mom was late getting me to the station, and now I can't find a place to sit. I come to a compartment, where a young boy and girl, probably brother and sister from the looks of them, are sitting.
"Hi. My name is Diana. Do you mind if I join you? I was late getting here and can't find a seat anywhere else."

Chloe stretched and leaned back onto Atticus. She glanced at Diana. She fidgeted at the awkward silence. Finally, she sat up and faced Diana. "Since my brother here is going to be rude and not ask, what's your name? I'm Chloe and this is Atticus."

Diana dropped into a seat and pulled the novel she was reading out of her rucksack. "I'm Diana. You look older than me, so I assume you're not first years. What year are you guys?" She felt like she should make conversation, but she was really into this book.

Venus saw a girl reading a book of 'Werewolves...' she couldn't see the rest of the title from this view, but she came over to the older girl and asked.
"May I sit here with you?" Venus requested and tried to sound polite as possible.

Heather was reading a book when some seventh year slytherins came into her compartment. "Out!" they ordered her. "or else you'll get jinxed."

Heather snatched her own wand out of her pocket. "I'm not afraid of you." she said calmly.

"GET OUT!" one of the boys yelled. "NOW! THIS IS OUR COMPARTMENT NOW!"

Iana inclined her head upward from her novel as the compartment door slid open. She pursed her lips at the girl's request
"I guess," Iana said flatly. "Wilbur may--" She paused as she heard some loud yelling nearby.

The boys scowled at her and talked about how to jinx her. "Petrificus Totalus?" one suggested. "How about Tarantallegra?" Another suggested. "GET OUT OR WE JINX YOU!" the taller one yelled at her.

Venus whirled around her hair turned into silver from the unexpected yelling. Why are they yelling? Are they already trying to get kicked off the train? Venus thought. She sat on the other side of the compartment. The yelling made her think those people of stupid people not considering the consequences of their actions. Although Venus didn't care about what shall happen, it only mattered that she isn't involved. Venus started to grab out a book and read.

Iana sadly wasn't suprised that she actually recognized the loud voices from nearby. She shook her head in an disgusted manner, turning her attention back to her read. Not those idiots again...
"Wilbur bites," Iana finished, gesturing to her unhappy owl fiend, who glared with muddy yellow eyes.

Zanna glared at the shouting two cars down from her own. "You must excuse me." she said to the boy she welcomed in.

Stepping out she glanced down the small train hall, her eyes harsh. "Do you think it is possible for you insufferable gits to maybe stop being so rude?" she snapped, venom lacing her voice.

Charlie was upset. She had only had enough time to settle into a compartment with a few of her friends when loud shouting had started out in the hall. There hadn't even been a prefects meeting yet! Still, she figured she had better go see what was causing the commotion.

Looking down the hall, she could make out several upper year Slytherins crowding around a compartment with a couple of younger girls yelling at them.

Huffing, she made her way towards them.

Atticus rolled his eyes. Why were they yelling? "I swear, some students here are just so stupid. I wish they would just shut up." He got up and opened the compartment door. Atticus looked back and forth, trying to figure out which way the yelling was coming from.

Marching down the hall towards the older boys, Charlie drew herself up to her full height and put on her best, "You'd better listen to me or else" face.

"What in the seven realms do you idjits think you're doing! We're supposed to be representing Slytherin House and here I find you doing a pretty decent job of terrifying little kids just so you can sit down! Get out and I'd better not hear another peep for the rest of the train ride!"

The boys left, grumbling all the while. Charlie knew she'd have to deal with them later in the common room, but she'd cross that bridge when she got there. Coming back to herself, she noticed several people in the hall that she didn't recognize.

"Hello there! My name's Charlotte Caine and I'm the Slytherin sixth year Prefect."

Fed up with all the noise she was hearing in the hall, Iana slammed down her book. She marched out of her compartment, met with the scene of some students standing in the halls, and the retreating backs of a gang of seventh year Slytherins.
"What in the blazes is going on out here?" She demanded hotly.

Venus turned to see where the girl was going, it seemed she was furious about the commotion. She chuckled a little, but only kept reading her book. The train seemed to be close to their destination right now. She petted Wither, her owl and made weird hooting noises.

Ophelia sat by herself and watched a couple of people in the same compartment talking to each other. She stroked Mist, her cat, and smiled down at her softly before looking outside the window. "Finally...maybe at least there I'll have a family..." She whispered to herself as she stroked Mist. The cat meowed softly and nudged her hand, at which Ophelia laughed a little before returning to stare outside the window with a sad smile on ehr face.

Tyler was on the other side of the train, his cat Tabbers beside him as he grinned at the people on the train and looked down at himself. "Dang, I really should get changed shouldn't I?" He muttered but shrugged it off and closed his eyes lazily. "I'll do it later."

Calming herself down, Charlotte smiled at the boy. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Verome. And what happened was just a little tiff. Sometimes upper years get too big for their wand holsters, if you know what I mean, and just need to be knocked down a few pegs."

Looking over at the girl and attempted to calm her down. "Well, they're gone now. Did they hurt you or anything?"
