coming to the other side of the tree, Fire saw nothing. However, there was a strange sent of a cat, fresh to.
Her pelt prickled with uneasiness. Suddenly she hear a yowl from further ahead, Thistle was coming her way with a thrush in his jaws. Fire stopped him by signaling with her tail, and tipped her head towards the tree.

Lilac was just about to leap when another cat appeared.
'Ambush...' she thought and steadied herself. She looked down and breathed in.

Next thing you know Lilac was on top of the mysterious cat.
"Who are you!" She yelled but then forgot about the other cat that was with her.

Fire had the air knocked out of her as a cat landed square on her back. Thistle dropped his pray in shock.
"Who are you!?" the cat yelled. Fire hissed in frustration and tried to shift the cat off.

With a yowl Thistle hurled into the cat's side knocking her off of Fire. Standing up, fire faced their opponent, who as she could now see was a white she-cat with black splotches.


(gotta go get some lab work done, won't be back for a while. 😋)

Lilac fell to the floor hard and tried to get up. She hissed and swiped her claws. "If this is an ambush...I'm ready" she swiped her paws again and winced every time. Lilac knew she'd have a mark on her side but, she'd have to live...

Lilac got in an attack position and lashed her tail back and forth.

MoonShadow didn't protest as Fallenstar said the kit could stay. He watched as Lilac protested. He looked at her, slightly upset, but watched as she decided to walk into the forest. He looked back up at Fallenstar, blinking. "Fallenstar, do you still want that hunting patrol? If you do, I can lead one." He said, dipping his head toward his leader.

MistyFlower was relieved and excited that the kit could stay if nobody came to get her in a moon. Looking at the kit, her face overflowed with joy. "Little one, what's your name?" She asked, a smile lighting her face. She looked at Otterwhisper happily, blinking a grateful look toward the queen.

Thistle backed off from the slicing claws of the she-cat.

Fire crouched and leaped on the cat. Ducking swiftly under a swiping paw, she slashed up along the cat's side.

(@crazeddragon I know Thistle and Fire arn't clan cats, so they definetly arn't in the camp, and Lilac is out I think as they are facing her.)

Lilac fell back to the floor and made a sort of squeaking sour when she felt pain run along her side.

"Who are you!!" She yelped and seen a line of pink across her side. Blood.

Not a lot but plenty to make her snap into reality. She began to try to strategize in her head. A claw barely missed Fire's muzzle as Lilac got loose.

Fire jerked her head up to narrowly avoid getting slashed with razor sharp claws. letting herself getting backed up against a tree, she launched off it with her hind paws, sailing over her opponents head, as she hit the ground she turned and landed a few blows on the cats back leg.

Lilac hissed loudly and laid on the floor. 'This can't be...I've been training since I was a kit' she thought and looked at the cat.

"Ok...you win...what do you want?" Lilac asked slowly getting up and licking her paws and legs. She occasionally licked her side but decided against messing with the cut.

Fire sheathed her claws and studied the cat cautiously. Thistle watching from where he had his prey.
"We were just hunting." she replied, "you were the one who struck first after all."

Lilac chuckled a bit. "Well I can't be too cautious am I right?" She got up and stood. She nodded. "Well if that's all...I hope you'll be on your way".

Lilac began to walk back to the camp and had a small limo to her steps.

Fire glanced back at Thistle, who was still standing over his thrush. "Well that's handled, lets go."

Picking up his prey Thistle followed her out of the woods.

Lilac arrived back at the camp. She got a few stares but ignored them and sat in front of the leader. She licked her side and felt a sting. She decided to leave it alone before it bleeds again. Lilac licked the fur around it so it wasn't a pink color.

MistyFlower snapped her head up as she scented blood, and then glared at Lilac as she limped into camp. Rushing over after retrieving some cobwebs from her den, she set to work on Lilac's wounds at once. "What did you do to yourself, Lilac?" She said sharply, looking up every now and then at the other cat.

MoonShadow waited patiently for an answer from FallenStar. He was about ready to just go off on his own, but if Fallenstar said otherwise, he'd take some other cats with him.

Lilac winced as MistyFlower helped her.

"There are two cats in the forest. Just a misunderstanding..." She sighed and looked up at FallenStar.

"I can go once I'm wrapped up" Lilac said almost pleading in a way.

MistyFlower narrowed her eyes and let out a slight hiss. "Two of our cats or two rival cats?" She hissed, looking at the camp entrance as if these two cats were going to pounce at any moment. She snapped back to the real world, moving to the other side of Lilac to tend to the other wounds. "As far as I'm concerned, you won't be going anywhere until these wounds heal." She said sternly, pressing more cobwebs on the other wounds.

Lilac smirked in a way. "Two rival. Except they didn't have the smell of our rivals it was almost like they belonged to no one" She said amazed almost.

Lilac sighed when she heard she couldn't go hunt. "I'll be fine...I'll be fine please let me go" her ears went back and shelicked her paws. "Thank you Misty for tending to me" Her eyes danced across the soft yet crunchy earth.

"Rogues or outsiders?" MistyFlower questioned, her voice hard. She finished pressing cobwebs onto Lilac's wounds and sat in front of her. She licked her paw and drew it over her ear, then looked Lilac in the eye. "Do you know, or could you not tell?"

"I'm not sure actually" Lilac sat up straight and had to get comfortable so that she didn't hurt the wounds.

Lilac looked at MistyFlower and smiled slightly. "I guess when I see that new kit I should apologize...I probably scared it...and if I would have just listened we wouldn't be worrying about all this nonsense" She laughed and looked at her claws.

MistyFlower nodded. "Alright. I'll talk to FallenStar about setting up a patrol to see if these cats are still in our territory..." She said, trailing off before snapping back to the real world. "Anyways, do you want poppy seeds for the pain or are you okay with bearing it?" She asked, getting up to stalk into her den to either retrieve poppy seeds or sort out a few herbs before talking to FallenStar.

Otterwhisper shrugged slightly sensing that Fallenstar might not wish to answer her comment. Oh well, she'd still have chances to see that new kit. She pulled her tail from Blizzardkit's paws. She purred softly again.

Blizzardkit nuzzled Otterwhisper then padded forward slightly. He looked over the kit more closely now. Otterwhisper was right this kit did look his age.

Fern walked around camp slowly, she had heard someone in the forest, But who? This was the danger she thought of earlier, the deadly noise kept bugging her inside her head. She snook out of camp as eyes weren't watching, she was a curious cat and she had to find out for herself. She sharpened her claws quickly and licked herself, the noise was returning. This time she didn't think it was coming from the heart of the woods.. She crept away and quietly prowled through the forest, expecting the worst.

Thornwhisper got up and shook her head slightly , initially looking for some one to talk to , then she decided not to and padded back inside her den " never mind " she muttered to herself and sat down , licking her paw. " I wonder .." She started to talk to herself out of pure boredom

Fern continued through the woods quietly, hoping nobody from the camp had heard her or seen her. She decided to hunt while she was there and she came across some elderly mice so she decided to take them, she buried them near the camp and returned to her expedition. Just hoping, hoping danger wasn't as close as it seemed.

Fire was curled up in their den, which was made under a thickly leaves bush. On the other side, Thistle was laying asleep.
Pondering on the events of today, Fire noticed the cat she confronted early smelled the same as specific areas around the woods. She didn't think one cat could make such a defined sent.

Fallenstar steaded him self for what ever came from the bushes, redkit padded up behind him

"whats that?" redkit mewed

"i dont know." Fallenstar responded "go back to the nursery"

redkit ignored him and stayed put

Fallenstar rolled his eyes, his long claws slid out scratching the rock
