Keesha ran over to the entrance of the village and shuddered to a stop at the sight. Mangled bodies lay everywhere, most with weapons stabbed into their flank or gruesomely disembodied. She closed her eyes, trying to stop the bile rising up her throat.

Kiro waved a hand at the dead bodies, trying to listen to their last messages before they departed from the world. Corisque killed us! One shrieked. He sent his minions, ghastly beasts! Another groaned. Kiro cut them off, releasing them from their anchor, their bodies. He felt a large tug and he crumpled to the ground, sweating.

'Corisque.' Kiro's fist clenched tightly as he fought to keep his temper in check. His black shadowy tendrils lashed around slightly. 'Why is he doing this? He just wants us.' He muttered, but he knew the answer to his question already. To threaten us. If we don't get to his base, he'll keep killing people. Innocent lives will be taken away. He thought grimly.

Storm stared at the dead bodies, disgusted. His stomach twisted and turned at the sight. Resisting the urge to throw up, Storm took a couple steps back from the scene.

Celestia didn't want to loot the village but she wants to see what they did before. She found a beautiful crafted sword and sheath along with a bow. She took them, while she tried to sense anyone alive. She ran out just in time to see Anna burying the land.

This whole time, Erika's just flipping out. "Waaahhh they're all dead! They're all dead!" She sob-screams and flails her arms wildly. Her horror is blinding her from the outside world, and she's bumping into people. And trees. And...rocks.

She trips and falls, screaming and wailing as she goes. When she hits the ground, she beats it with her fists, trapped in a world of pain, misery and anger. "They're all dead!"

"So many bodies..."

"Erika!" Ellie says sharply picking her up and turning into a horse, shoving Erika on her back. "I'll be right back.." Ellie says galloping into the forest. "Erika.. It's a nice pony ride.. don't worry.." she says in a soothing voice.

Kiro was pissed off. Very pissed off. 'Guys! Calm down!' He yelled uncharacteristically. 'And get back here!' He hollered at Erika and Ellie. 'Breaking off from the group is no use!' He cursed under his breath.
'I swear...' Sighed Keesha, grabbing Alissa's limp body and swinging her onto her shoulder. 'Their actions are so unstable. I pity them.' She twirled her blade impatiently, waiting for Ellie and Erika to rejoin the group. I wonder when Ellie's going to blow her cover. I think I should kick her out from the group soon. She thought.

Anna looked at all the bodies. She let them sink to the ground to be buried. She pity them but she won't let her fear take over her.

"I don't want a pony ride!" Erika sobs as Ellie gallops away. "I just want...my...NO! NO! I don't want her..." Her fear morphs into visions, turning Ellie into a rotting horse, the trees to hanging corpses and the ground to black, charred ash.

"I don't want you! Go away!" she screams as her mother begins to appear with a sinister smile on her face. "Go away! Leave me alone! You never loved me, did you! You never! Loved! Me!" She howls, lashing out at the ghost-like vision until she realized she's bound by blackened ropes.

"YOU NEVER LOVED ME!" she shrieks as her mother draws closer, as she strokes her cheek with one frigid, phantom hand. "You're right...I never did..." she hears, in a calm, composed whisper that gives her chills.

Everything goes black and she's silent, except for the one thought screaming through her head. "She...never...loved me."

Corisque murmured to Ellie in her mind, 'Won't you mind putting down your little childlish friend at my castle. I'll show you where it is. And your friends will know you were always on my side!' He cackled manically.
Back in the village, Kiro doubled over with pain. 'Intrusion... In the underworld.' He gasped, eyes glowing unnaturally. His black tendrils shot towards the place where Ellie and Erika was. Keesha barely dodged, blade flying to her hand.

Anna didn't dodge the shadows. She screams as something or someone dragged her down into her mind. She saw a flat ground with nothing and no signs of life. She cautiously walked for a bit, seeing dark flashes. When she reached an end, she doubled over in pain. She never saw him for a few flashes in her memory. He was handsome, with blue eyes. He walked over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder, patting her on the back. "You've grown, little Anna, you've grown." He said with a soft yet chillingly voice. "You left me, from the moment you saw me, you abandoned, I hate you." Anna tried yelling while holding back a sob. She felt lost in her memories as she thought of them. He was a shadow in each flashback, growing fainter and fainter every time. He almost killed her the first time he saw her as the memories became stronger and stronger. Her dad, she thought, as in birth, not step. She curled up in a ball, sobbing.

Celestia used magic to protect herself. She wants to faint from over using magic but she steeled herself. She ran over to Anna, who appeared to be unconscious. She tried bringing her back, but she's lost in the memories and the past. She felt frightening far, and something or someone was preventing her from being dragged back to the world.

Keesha screamed at Ellie, 'Traitor! You let Corisque open the Doors of the Underworld!' She chucked her knife at the terrified girl, seeing red.
Kiro refocused, and attempted to drag Erika back to the group. His tendrils latched onto the girl's arms, but pain stabbed him once more. His grip loosened.

Keesha groaned. 'Now she's as much as a traitor as a child-stealer.' She propped Celestia up against the wall. Kiro cursed loudly, tendrils retracting to his back. 'Erika's gone. Corisque must have wanted her as hostage, so she'll lure us to his castle, where he is the strongest.' Keesha muttered, 'She's nothing but trouble.' Kiro shrugged, 'But still...'

Corisque smiled wickedly, surveying his lands. He spotted Ellie slump onto the ground weakly, with Erika next to her. Good girl. He thought.

Celestia oped her eyes, almost fainting again. She saw what happened but she doesn't have the strength to stop her. She moved to Anna, trying to connect to her.

Kiro reached into the darkness of the underworld. He barely heard Keesha gasp as his body turned a bit transparent. He felt like he was pushing through a barrier. But everything is broken. He thought. He reached in deeper and managed to locate Anna's soul. He pulled hard, almost blacking out.

Corisque laughed, 'Fool! Did you actually think she'll join us? No matter how childlish she is, your little friend still has a pure heart. You won't be able to convince her.' He paused to take a breath. 'I want her as a hostage. The others will come to me naturally.' He beckoned to Ellie, 'Come. You must have rest before the final battle.'

If she gets to angry her personality will change and she will hate everything and become evil. She can't control this and when it happens an evil spirit possesses her and her hair changes to a deep blue, her eyes darken to almost all black while her voice becomes cold and dark. I did this because Alissa really doesn't have anything to do..

Alissa crumbles to her knees, her hands freezing everything near her. She punches a tree furiously and freezes it, watching as her hair begins to melt to a dark blue and her insides freeze.

Corisque led Ellie to a big room on the top of the castle. It was decorated with tapestries of a demon killing the population of the world and other events like that. A bed lay in the middle, with a small table and a chair on the opposite. 'You know where to find me after you've rested.' He cackled. 'We'll discuss your awards, spy.'
