Been here little while now and not lucky to stumble oasis when has something yet - are there any tips? What happens when something is in it?

Hello All
Have been reading, absorbing and hopefully contributing to the current event but do have some follow up questions would appreciate.

1) Having looked through archives only cave ones missing are: Coona, Mo, Terron & Obarn. I understand Mo & Terron are hard to get but they also only appear certain times of day? Can I check when best to hunt for these last 4?

2) Thief Shop - can I check it opens at random? Is it so many times per day? And do you have to pay for goods what sort of prices?

3) I need to now accumulate wealth to get all those missing eggs from Retired, Endangered, SARC, Thief and Asteroid. Will any of these disappear soon and any recommendations where to start?

4) Events - I know one running currently how often do they happen on here and also seen mention of shop at end, how does that work?

5) Views and Clicks - read FAQ but confused what the difference between the two are as surely they would be level everytime?

6) Caught an extra monthly, are these good to grab a few once rotate out to sell later?

7) I'm already up to 66 creatures, have I shot myself in the foot early on should I have started out slower?

1) Terrons can only be found around 3am Egg Cave time. Mo's disguise themselves as commons but are very rare and can be found at any time. Coonas and Obarns are commons and can be found at any time.

2) The Thief Shop restocks with mystery eggs randomly throughout the day. Prices of these eggs range between 10k-600k EC. Not all eggs turn out to be real creatures, most are duds.

3)Endangered eggs can be found at the Oasis. There are no plans to retire the SARC, Thief Shop, or Asteroid creatures. Retired creatures can only be gained by trading with other players.

4) Events pop up throughout the year. Most are for holidays like the Advent Tree or the Halloween Fair. Plots, like this one, are a bit more spaced out. This is the first plot we've had in a few years.

5) Clicks are given when someone actually clicks on a creature. Views are given anytime someone sees an image of your creature. So when someone visits your cove all your creatures will get a view, but they will only get a click if someone actually visits their page.

6) Monthlies are only available for one month and then they retire and become unobtainable. So its a good idea to grab a couple extra to be used for trading later.

7) You can collect at your own pace. Creatures can be kept happy by use of Tim's Food Shop, so you don't have to feed and keep them happy all on your own.

@Orderedchaos - thanks for that, apologies now follow up questions!

1)Mos disguise themselves?! oh dear, should I be picking every single egg up just in case then? When do they reveal themselves? And so not then inundated with eggs where best to gift/move to?

2)600k egg could be a dud?

3) Hadn't realised there was an Oasis can see that now and empty, is this similar to Thief shop and random each day?

1) You can tell if a Mo has disguised itself in the Previously Viewed Eggs part of the Cave page. It'll show up as a Mo there.

2) Oh yes, any egg in the TS can be dud. Its one of our biggest EC sinks. 😉

3) The Oasis restock randomly throughout the day. However you do not need to pay for these eggs and they are never duds.

So I haven't chanced on Oasis or any Thief eggs to click dud or not and been checking really really frequently - is there certain times to check (i.e on the hour?) or any stats roughly how frequent you might come across? (i.e. once a day or once a week or once a month?)

Both the Oasis and Thief Shop are random, there is no specific time to go. The Thief Shop restocks eggs more frequently than the Oasis.

I recommend checking the oasis and thief shop whenever you have free time. Between forum posts, after click exchange stuff, after getting a new egg, etc.

Alternatively, you could have the Oasis on a whole separate tab and just refresh it without having to click between the Oasis and what you're doing. 😊

@lilacamy931 You have to name it (a jam of the keyboard random name is the quickest) and steal the egg before anybody else does 😊

I think one last last questions is around trinkets, so I am applying backgrounds to creatures and attempting to get the matching ones that go with that creature. I can't seem to find archive on items (which is probably just me) but if a creature retires does it's background retire with it? Just so I know if need to make alternate plans with those ones

If an item retires it will be announced on the blog. If you don't see anything specifically saying "X item/travel/ect." is retiring then it is not retired. At this time we do not retire trinket travels with creatures.

If you want to find out if a travel is retired then yes, you would have to look through old blog posts. Or find a fansite that has a travel archive. At this time there is not an onsite item archive.
