Quitting.

DON'T WORRY!!!!!!!!!!
I am NOT QUITTING!!!!!!!!

I just have something to say about quitting.

It is always sad when someone you know well on Egg Cave quits, but really, it's not the end of the world. Not saying that I like it when people quit (I don't), just that, if you have to choose between getting a job and playing Egg Cave, which would you choose? Some people no longer have much free time.

Of course, it is even worse when someone quits for other reasons.




Also, it is inevitable that everyone must eventually quit. In 10 years or so, I will be in college. I will most likely be studying hard and doing homework, and have no time for something like Egg Cave. For some people here, college is sooner than that.

I'd just go on hiatus when I'm in college, coming on in the weekends.

what I plan to do is, pick an active user who I know and trust really, really, REALLY well (and who will not quit in the next five years or so), then pm them my password. They would take care of my account (but no trading/changing password/etc allowed) until I came back.

On my side, I would trade away all my eggs until I had one left, then abandon it. I would use my no-egg side account to check on my main to make sure everything was the same. If something was changed, I would make a forum topic about it and publicize everything.

With the side included, my plan is basically foolproof! 😊

College = 2 years from now for me. I don't plan on quitting because of it; Like many others, I'll just go on hiatus. 😊

There are basically two:
1. you can't get on anymore because of real life
2. your mom/dad/legal guardian (😋) makes you.

It's sad some people leave, but you can't expect everyone to stay forever. Who knows, the site may not exist forever!

I wont be quitting but at times I will be going on hiatus.
High school just hit the corner so I'll be trying my best to actually keep my grades up rather then focusing on here, as much as I'd like to come on here, I can't.
Last year my grades went down pretty badly, so I want to make up for it, but I'll only be coming on here for maybe a few minutes or so to feed others and put my creatures into Tim's.
Immortal or not I'd like for them to be happy.

With a block schedule and only four classes with a total of 85 minutes per class, I'd like to get some rest after school.
Especially for GYM and Algebra, and because I'm an Insomniac.

But over the weekends, I'll be free, unless of course I get a Saturday detention.

Another thing is, I never quit.
I just leave my account up and eventually I come back on.
If I were to ever quit and come back on here, I'd regret to have given my creatures away, which is why if I ever do quit, in order to adopt my pets they would have to give them back to me if I were to come back.

Of course, that would happen in an alternate dimension where I would quit.

Yeah, college coming like...in less than a year. I'm actually going to an open house for my first choice next month.😋
If I can get on here while I'm there, I most definitely will. As I've said on previous threads, I believe in free time and not workworkwork all the time. Too much stress just isn't healthy. At the same time, it's important to have priorities and be able to get all work done to the best of your ability.

Thanks! It's not a terribly hard-to-get-in college but it's small and has strong programs in my particular interests and is what I really need at the time being. When I was there over the summer, it seemed to be a very laid back environment, so I really do believe there will be time for things like Eggcave.😋
