DuskClan {Warrior cat RP}

DuskClan is facing on of the hrashest Leafbare's it has ever know, cats getting sick left and right and green cough spreading like fire. On top of all this, a dog pack has attacked and taken over the DuskClan camp and territory, forcing DuskClan outside their own borders. Will they flee and find a new home else were, or stay, train, and fight for their home?

Leader- Blazestar- A ginger tom with white paws, that curl upwards. He has gold-green eyes.

Medicine cat- Ravenhallow- A very small, pure black she-cat hardly larger than a new apprentice. She has blue-violet eyes.
Warriors-
Waspclaw- slim/fit brown Tom with long legs and dark brown eyes (Apprentice, Snowpaw)
Applefur-A reddish-brown tom with crisp green eyes.
Mossmask- slightly smaller than your average warrior with short hair and a black nose, dark ash grey tabby with black stripes on her back and small black spots on her belly, amber eyes
Greentail- Large build and long tail with fangs barely visibly poking out of his mouth, short hair with completely white pelt with emerald green eyes
Willowpelt- long pale orange fur with light brown tabby stripes with white paws and a white underbelly, as well as beautiful amber eyes
Silentfall- A tall, black and dark brown tom with turquoise eyes. (Apprentice, Malowpaw)
Wolfwind- A rather large she-cat, with silver paws, tail, muzzle and underbelly. Her fur is very thick, and untamable. She has light orange eyes. (Apprentice, Lavenderpaw)
Fallensnow- She-cat/snow white fur, black specks down back, fluffy white tail, blue eyes
Apprentices-
Snowpaw- she-cat/ thick, long snow white fur with a russet red muzzel and front left paw. Bright light blue eyes and a thick, fluffy tail
Lavenderpaw- silver tabby with bluish tints in her fur. She has white stripes and a white underbelly and paws. Sweet Lavender eyes
Malowpaw- She-cat/White with dark grey toes, tail tip, chin, and ears, sky blue eyes
Queens-

Elders
Mossmoth- soft gray she-cat with pale grey blue eyes

Rouges-
Viperfang- A silver she-cat with brown, ears, tail paws and muzzle. She has one dark brown eye and one ice-blue left eye. Across her right eye is a scar of three lines, going across the eyelids. From the tip of her lip on the left side of her face and stretching to the middle of her cheek is a dark scar.
Smoke- Smokey brown and black she-cat with thick long fur, amber eyes, and a black face.

*The RP begins at dawn of the day the dogs well attack. It's cold outside and the ground is frozen but no snow, the sky is clear, and their is a slight wind.Whom ever goes on the dawn patrol will start to find scents and traces of dog, and one well eventually attack their patrol once they are new camp to warn the clan. Other dogs will join in, fighting the cats inside the camp. *

{Waspclaw}
Waspclaw parted his jaws in a massive yawn, trying to snuggle deeper into his nest. He'd been out solo hunting the night before trying to catch extra prey for the clan as it was running low, he didn't have much luck though, unless one skinny shrew is considered lucky. Waspclaw desperately tried to snug deeper into his nest to feel warm, but it was no use, the cold cut right through his fur and straight to his bones making him feel colder then ice. He shivered and lightly growled in irritance. Finally he gave up on any hope of sleep and got up out of his nest and padded outside of the Warriors den. It was about dawn, so he looked around for Ripplepelt so he could volunteer for the dawn patrol. He fought back another yawn.

.•°Mossmask°•.
Mossmask trotted through the forest happily, sun breaking through the foliage above her and streaming down on her fur. She blinked and suddenly it was night and she was freezing to the bone. She stepped back in confusion only to wake up from the dream. Mossmask blinked the drowsiness out of her eyes and lifted her head up from her paws and saw that the space in front of her was empty, that explained the dream, the cat that slept there had been blocking the cold winds. Mossmask stood up and stretched, she sniffed the nest, and by the smell of it, she guesses Waspclaw must've just left the nest. She licked a few stray tufts of her fur down and made sure she looked presentable before she quietly stepped out of the warriors' nest, she sat near the entrance and watched the early dawn sky.

•.*Willowpelt*.•
Willowpelt trotted through the clearing, it was bright and sunny and the forest was green and lively but not a single cat was around. Willowpelt looked around the clearing and her eyes stopped once she spotted the medicine den it felt as if it was calling to her. Willowpelt walked into the medicine den only to see complete pitch black darkness, she turned around but the exit was not there, just more darkness. A large figure hurdled past her, the scent was familiar but she couldn't remember how, the fur on her back rose up and made her look twice as big and she unsheathed her claws. Another figure rushed past her, soon at least five of them were running in a circle around her, completely trapping her. Her eyes darted around her wildly, trying to catch a glimpse of the figures, but, everything stopped when she smelled blood. The figures were gone and instead a blurry white figure sat there in the distance, Willowpelt could tell that's where the blood was coming from, she didn't know who it was, but it made her eyes widen and her blood run cold. Willowpelt scrambled to her paws with her eyes wide only to realize it was a dream, but it was much too real to be just a dream, it was a warning, a warning that made Willowpelt practically shiver in fear. Willowpelt quickly made sure she hadn't awoken anyone with her sudden awakening and made her way out of the warrior's den. She saw Mossmask on her way out of the den but had no time to properly greet her, Willowpelt quickly brushed her tail over Mossmask's flank as she passed and made her way to the medicine den, she needed to speak to Dovewing as soon as possible about the dream she had.

{Waspclaw}
Waspclaw, not seeing Ripplepelt around, assumed the Tom was still sleeping. Fluffing his pelt out against the cold, Waspclaw made his way over to the apprentices den and hissed for his apprentice, Snowpaw.

{Lavenderpaw}
Lavenderpaw was curled up tightly in her nest, still half asleep when she heard the hiss of Waspclaw. She gave her sister a light kick to wake her up, "Waspclaw wants you." Lavenderpaw explained as Snowpaw shot her a look. "Can't he ever leave me in peace?" Lavenderpaw heard her sister mutter in frustration as she got up, while Lavenderpaw tried to fall back asleep, knowing that it may not be to much longer until her own mentor comes to collect her.

{Snowpaw}
Snowpaw slowly walked out of the apprentices den on heavy paws, "It's hardly even dawn, Waspclaw." She hissed, "Why in the name of StarClan did you get me up?" She slightly exaggerated. Waspclaw simply turned toward the camp exit and whisked his tail for her to follow, "We're going training. Hopefully we can mange to bring back cleanly killed fresh-kill this time." Said Waspclaw, fixing Snowpaw with a cold stare. This was because the last time they hunted, Snowpaw crushes her prey with her jaws, but left the prey messy and no cat really wanted to eat it. Snowpaw rolled her eyes and let out an annyoed hiss, following her mentor.

Wolfwind, awoken at the sound of someone leaving the den, slipped out of her nest and into the clearing. Her fur was far too ruffled for grooming to make any amount of difference, she she just settled for a quick shake to help her wake up.

She spotted Waspclaw heading out of the camp with Snowpaw behind him. She turned from the camp entrance and stretched, taking a glance over to the small, and almost nonexistent fresh-kill pile, she decided she'd take Lavenderpaw hunting later today. The Clan would need it.

{Waspclaw}
Waspclaw felt slightly better as he walked into the woods with Snowpaw, as the trees blocked out the slight breeze, but, he was still freezing his tail off. While walking into the woods, he caught just the slightest trace of dog scent, but it was to light to tell if it was fresh or old. A few days back, a twoleg small dog got lose in the woods from Sunhigh till dusk when the twoleg found it. Waspclaw assumed this was the same scent of that dog and continued, but he did decide that as a precaution he and Snowpaw would stick together for hunting, instead of splitting up as he was originally planning.

{Mossmoth}
Mossmoth shivered. She was trapped underneath a frozen lake, the ice water chilling and numbing every part of her body, she started to trash and panic as she found she couldn't breathe.

While Mossmoth was trashing around her nest as she dreamed, her paw hit a thorn that pierced into her paw. She let out a light yowl of surprise as she woke up startled. She examined her paw with the thorn and pulled it out, silently hissing in pain. Mossmoth felt cold to the bone, and stiffer then a rock. She looked around the den and saw a large hole in the bramble entrance that was letting the cold breeze right in to her. Mossmoth stormy trudged out of the elders den and without bothering to greet anyone in the clearing, walked into the leaders den to see Blazestar sleeping in his nest. Mossmoth spat loudly "Blazestar!"
Mossmoth was usually a grumpy and rather rude she-cat, but she had a special dislike for Blazestar that made her simply look for anything she could hiss to him about. She was never his biggest fan, and when he cast Viperfang out, Mossmoth by this time lost all respect for him and loathed him almost entirely.

Mossmask wondered what had Willowpelt in such a hurry but decided she would ask her later when she noticed more cats waking up and decided to go wake up her brother, Greentail. Mossmask poked and prodded her brother's side for a few moments before he blinked open his eyes and stretched before he fully woke up and gave himself a few quick licks.

"Hey, you wanna go hunting together? They fresh kill pile is really low." Offered Mossmask in a hushed tone, trying not to wake up her fellow warriors.

"Hm? Oh, alright. Don't have anything else to do." Said Greentail as he rose to his paws and followed Mossmask out of the warriors' den and out the camp.

°.•Greentail•.°
As he padded next to her sister he caught the scent of Waspclaw and Snowpaw, he felt a little bad for Snowpaw, her mentor had been really grumpy recently. They ended up walking in a different direction as Waspclaw and his apprentice and as they walked deeper into the territory Mossmask caught the scent of a vole.

Greentail was always impressed by just how well his sister could track scents and ended up letting her go after the vole. Mossmask followed the scent trail and a few minutes later she came back with a rather scrawny looking vole in her jaws.

Mossmask made a small hole in the ground and buried the vole with the promise to return and fetch it once they were done hunting. Soon Greentail and his sister set off again with the hope of catching more than the vole.

•.*Willowpelt*.•
Willowpelt entered the medicine cat den and quickly spotted Dovewing and Ravenhallow sleeping next to each other. She decided to speak with Dovewing first as she was the senior medicine cat, Willowpelt quickly poked Dovewing to wake her up. A drowsy Dovewing opened up her eyes and looked up and Willowpelt.

Seeing the worried and uneasy look on Willowpelt's face seemed to have woken the medicine cat right up, Willowpelt never looked worried unless it was something serious.

"Dovewing, I need to speak to you about something right now, it's very urgent." Whispered Willowpelt.

:.°Dovewing°.:
Hearing her normally calm friend speak with such an uneasy tone already had Dovewing worried.

"W-what is it?" Dovewing asked with a hushed voice. Willowpelt then proceeded to explain the dream she had, after listening to it Dovewing knew why Willowpelt had sounded to worried, this was awful news. She needed some time to figure out what the dream could've been warning, she thanked Willowpelt for sharing the dream and Willowpelt wished her well before exiting the den.

Dovewing snuck a quick glance at her former apprentice, Ravenhallow, just to make sure she was still sleeping and headed out of her den and to the forest to think about this dream that Willowpelt had.

{Waspclaw}
Waspclaw and Snowpaw wlhad been trying their best, but if was rather difficult to find any prey,as most was hiding away from the cold weather. He was thinking that maybe splitting up wouldn't be such a bad idea when dog scent struck his nose again, this time fresher. Snowpaw bushed up her pelt when she got a whiff of the foul stench and hissed "that's dog scent, inst it?" Waspclaw looked around, trying to pinpoint where the scent was coming from, but it seemed all around him. They must be close! He thought. He turned around and opened his mouth to tell Snowpaw to run back to camp and warn them that their is a fresh dog scent in the woods, but before he cod speak, he heard a wet growling noise. Waspclaw's ears flattened, and before he could do anything, a large dog leaped out of the bushes and attacked him. Before the dof landed in him, he yelled at Snowpaw to run.

{Snowpaw}
Fear stricken, Snowpaw for once listened to her mentor and turned tail. Looking back over her shoulder, she saw her mentor was losing the fight, even if he was fighting with the the strength of lionclan. Snowpaw yearned to go and help him, but she knew she had to warn the clan. But then suddenly, a second dog jumped out and joined in on the fight with Waspclaw. He'll be torn apart! Snowpaw thought. She turned back around and charged at the dogs. This surprised the dogs enough for them to loosen their grip on Waspclaw enough for him to wriggle away and run like his tail was on fire, Snowpaw beside him. At first the dogs were so close they could feel their hot breath on their necks as they snapped their drooling jaws at their tails. But eventually the two cats got. Ahead of the dogs as this part of the Forest was dense and it was much harder for the dogs to move about in. Snowpaw looked at Waspclaw and noticed he was bleed from a deep cut in his shoulder, and was obviously in worlds of pain from running, but she didn't stop to say anything. They had to keep going, they had to warn the camp. The two cats finally burst into camp and stop their running, Waspclaw's legs shook and where unsteady as he tried to catch his breath. Snowpaw called out into the camp, "Their are dogs in the woods! Two of them! Highly aggressive dogs! They might be heading towards camp!"

{Mossmoth}
From inside Blazestar's den Mossmoth heard Snowpaw's cry. Completely not caring about her den anymore she rushed outside, "dogs?" She gasped. Then she got a look at her adopted son, Waspclaw, who seemed like he could collapse at any moment. His fur was patchy and he bleed from a deep cut on his shoulder, and their was a rather nasty looking dog bite on his left front leg. Mossmoth filled with fury against these dogs, these mutts who nearly killed her son. "Let those dogs try an and come, DuskClan well shread them to pieces!" She yowled proudly.

{Lavenderpaw}
Lavenderpaw was hardly back to sleep again when she heard her sister, she rushed out of her den wide eyed. She heard Mossmoth 's yowl but she wasn't so sure, a chill went down her spine. She thought to her self that it might be DuskClan that gets shreaded to pieces.

{Mouseclaw}
Mouseclaw was a deep sleeper, but cats in the camp where starting to be loud, which slowly woke him up. He slowly walked out of the den to ask what it was all about, but he got his answer when he heard Mossmoth's yowl. Dogs! Mouseclaw fur stood on end, and he was dismayed as he looked at his best friend Waspclaw and the state the dogs had left him in.

Mossmask and her brother walked a little further until Mossmask froze with eyes wide when she caught the scent of dogs, large and terrifying dogs, her brother caught the scent too. Mossmask could also scent the fear scent of Waspclaw and Snowpaw.

Both Mossmask and her brother had their fur fluffed up and their ears flat. Mossmask knew that the dogs would pounce on them any second now, they were in trouble.

•.°Greentail°.•
Greentail's eyes locked with his sister's, it only lasted a few heartbeats but it felt like a lifetime. The second they broke eye contact Greentail and his sister were racing past trees with the dogs yapping and running behind them.

:.°Dovewing°.:
Dovewing had been about to exit the camp but once she had seen the state of Waspclaw she knew he needed attention immediately. Once she heard Snowpaw's warning about the dogs the Willowpelt's dream made complete sense.

Dovewing had known from the beginning that the second part of the dream with the white figure was referring to the prophesy Dovewing received about her own death, she hadn't had the heart to tell Willowpelt right then and there that her death was coming so soon.

Now Dovewing understood the first part to the dream as well, there would be an awful battle against the dog pack, a losing battle, there would be much danger to come. She could tell Blazestar and the rest of the clan about the dream soon, but first she needed to treat Waspclaw's shoulder and his front leg.

{Waspclaw}
Waspclaw started to catch his breath, and his legs were a little less shakey now, but his shoulder burned like fire and his entire body was tense. But before Waspclaw could make his way to the medicine den, dog scent grew close to the camp, and through the brambles in the back of the camp, Waspclaw saw the costs of three dogs. But all these dogs were different then the ones that attacked him and Snowpaw. Waspclaw started to panic, that means there's two more still out there's Before he could say anything, the three dogs burst into camp barking loudly. Waspclaw pushed aside the pain in his shoulder and unsheathed his claws. A medium sized black and brown dog leaped at him with snapping drooling jaws. Waspclaw raised his claws abd scored them accross the dogs face.

{Snowpaw}
Snowpaw immediately rushed to her sister as soon as the dogs burst into camp, wordlessly the two she-cat stood back to back so nothing could sneak up on neither of them

{Mossmoth}
Mossmoth unsheathed her claws and fought away the stiffness in her bones. She lept onto the back of the dog attacking Waspclaw and raked her claws over its ears, hanging on the dog stubbornly with her hind claws

{Mouseclaw}
Mouseclaw observed the clearing, not sure what to do, when he saw the third and by far largest dog eyeing his daughters. Before the dog could attack he rushed past the dog, making the dog gain interest in him. He then turned and began clawing at the dog with all his strength, but he was hardly phasing the dog. The dog snapped and grabbed Mouseclaw by his shoulder and started to shake him viciously. Mouseclaw was able to slice open the dogs nose, making the dog drop him, but his shoulder was all but useless as it was torn wide and bleeding heavily. Suddenly Lavenderpaw and Snowpaw rushed up to help him. "Go away! Run! Get out of here!" He hissed at them, but they didn't listen. But with a blow the dog sent Lavenderpaw flying over to the other side of the clearing, and Snowpaw chased after her. Mouseclaw used all his strength to get up and distract the dog again so it wouldn't chase after them.

As three dogs burst into the clearing, Wolfwind leapt into action. She watched as Mossmoth helped Waspclaw, but the injured tom and older she-cat would be less than a match for such a creature.

Steeling herself, she flung herself at the dog, latching onto it's underbelly and sinking her teeth into it's stomach.

Blazestar, awoken by Mossmoth, left his den in time to see the dogs attack. Hissing in disgust he flung himself at the largest dog who had ripped into Mouseclaw's shoulder.

Blazestar snarled at the dog, as he threw himself between it and the injured Mouseclaw. Lashing out with swift paws at its snapping jaws, and weaving beneath its paws.



Silentfall, alongside Quicksilver, joined in on attacking the remaining dog. Silentfall wove around under its paws, attracting its attention as his sister slashed down everytime the dog tried to attack him.

The duo kept up this method until the dog caught on, and with a swipe of its paw hooked Silentfall up and threw him across the camp, near the medicine den. Knocked free of his breath, Silentfall watched wordlessly as the dog grabbed Quicksilver and shaking her like a leaf in a windstorm, tossed her so the tabby was flung out of their make-shift camp.



Ravenhallow hurriedly grabbed herbs, rolling them into wraps before she left out of the small gap in the back of the medicine den, and out behind the camp. She ran to the camp entrance, eyes wild as she scanned for any cats being chased out, and dove under a bush as a dark shape was thrown outside of the camp perimeter. Ravenhallow let out a small squeak as she recognized Quicksilver's limp form.



For the past few days Viperfang had picked up on dog scent around her small area she called home, and more recently she had started noticing Clan scent closer to her home than it had been before. Worried she had decided to keep an eye on them, and so it was this way that the former Clan cat found herself crouching not too far off from the Clan cat's temporary camp as dogs ravaged it.

There were enough warriors there to keep them at bay, granted they were strong enough, and while she desperately wanted to help, she doubted she would be able to help without being forced out of the camp. Or left to be savaged by the dogs.

Her paws itching to do something, she started to shuffle back until she spotted a small outline of a familiar cat darting around the camp, and watched in horror as another cat landed outside the camp with a sickening thud, and lay still. Viperfang paused in her moving as she took a moment to gather what had just happened, and then she sprinted towards the body, inspecting it briefly before she met Ravenhallow's terrified gaze.

{Waspclaw}
The three cats together were starting to stand a better chance against the dog, but it was still powerful, it snapped it's jaws loudly, nearly taking off Waspclaw's ear.

{Lavenderpaw}
Lavenderpaw to her feet quickly, she felt bruised and ached, but she didn't feel any serious damage. Suddenly, she watched in horror as a dog flung one of her clanmates out of camp. With a hiss, Lavenderpaw and her sister charged and attacked the dog, Lavenderpaw paw using her claws to slash, ans Snowpaw using her strong jaws to bite down into the dog.

{Mouseclaw}
Mouseclaw was losing blood rather quickly from his shoulder, but he refused to be useless. He hissed and still clawed at the dog who had attacked him, he would'nt leave Blazestar to fight the savage creature alone.

Viperfang made up her mind, nodding to Ravenhallow as the medicine cat darted off to inspect Quicksilver, and sprinted into the camp.

Her gaze flicked over to where Lavenderpaw and Snowpaw were fighting a god on their own, and without a second thought Viperfang tore off towards the dog, swiping as Lavenderpaw moved away from her own strikes. Viperfang, kept light on her paws, keeping a close eye on Snowpaw, making sure the apprentice wouldn't be harmed.

Applefur threw himself after Blazestar, sliding up next to Mouseclaw and clawing in unison with his fellow warrior. He watched around the camp, as another cat came in from outside the camp, aiming to help with the two apprentices. But Applefur hardly had time to worry who the familiar looking cat was, before he had to fix his attention on the dog before him fully once again.



Wolfwind was thrown off the belly of the dog as it snapped at Waspclaw. She rolled with the fall, and was grateful that her fur helped take most of the blow.

Turning to the dog, she threw herself at its hind legs, slashing at the knees, hooking her claws deep into them before yanking them back.

{Snowpaw}
Snowpaw was startled to see the pelt of assumed murderer Viperfang, and she wanted with everything inside her to hiss at the she cat to leave, but she knew that they needed all the cats they could get for this battle. / If she dies fighting for us good riddance/

{Waspclaw}
While slicing at the dog, a blur of silver and brown fur flashed at the edge of Waspclaw's vision. He turned around to see what it was, for a moment worrying it might be one of the two other dogs still in the Forest. But what he saw surprised him much more, it was Viperfang, helping the sisters fight off one of the dogs. Out of surprise Waspclaw lost focus amd the dog snapped, causing a bite mark, Waspclaw hissed, although he would have liked nothing better then to rush up to Viperfang, he knew now was definitely not the place and time to even think about it. He sliced wildly at the dog.

{Mossmoth}
Mossmoth roughly feel off the dogs shoulder, her body roughly hitting the ground. The dog turned growling at her, and Waspclaw had to step in front of her to protect her from becoming dog food.

{Mouseclaw}
Mouseclaw felt fire through out his body from pain, his movements becoming slower and slower as his head started to spin. He got clumsy, and the dog bite deeply into the flesh off his neck. Mouseclaw immediately fell to the group, his breath coming in shot gasps.

Greentail and his sister broke into the clearing, two large dogs snapping their drooling mouths at them, Greentail's eyes widen in horror as her saw every able cat fighting tooth and claw against several other dogs in the clearing.

Greentail and his sister whirled around to face one of the dogs as Willowpelt joined them, hopefully the combined strength of three non-injured warriors would be enough to take down at least one of the large beasts. Greentail launched himself with all his weight at the front legs of the dog, knocking it onto the floor as Willowpelt clawed at the dog's face, aiming for the eyes and nose while his sister wildly raked her claws down the side of the dog.

Willowpelt managed to successfully lodge her claws into the dog's eye, however this made it start thrashing around even harder, knocking off Mossmask from it's side and shaking it's head vigorously, causing Willowpelt to hold on for dear life. The dog's jaws yapped in the air desperately trying to catch one of Willowpelt's limbs, and it did.

The dog clenched it's jaws around Willowpelt's legs like a chew toy, causing her to yowl in pain as she desperately scrabbled at the dog's face, trying to get away, and managing to sink her claws into the dogs other eye before she was hurled into the air and landed a few tail lengths away with a thud.

:.°Dovewing°.:
Dovewing raced to her den, passing a now wide awake Ravenhallow as she ran to get cobwebs and other herbs, she could hear the fighting continuing to get louder and more vicious outside.

Dovewing broke out into the clearing just in time to see Willowpelt landing on the ground with a thud, the cat's right hind leg bleeding and Dovewing's brother and sister furiously hissing before charging at a seemingly blinded dog.

Dovewing was about to help her old friend first but she saw another cat who needed her attention much more urgently, Mouseclaw. He was bleeding from a wound on his nesk, the dog might've crushed his wind pipe. Dovewing raced over to Mouseclaw and grabbed him by his scruff, she had no time to be gentle, she needed to get him to the the medicine den where it would be much safer and easier to treat wound.

.•°Mossmask°•.
Mossmask hissed furiously with her brother right behind her as she and her brother launched themselves at the blinded dog, it would be much more easier to take it down now that it couldn't rely on it's sense of sight.

The dog stumbled around disorientedly before Mossmask jumped onto it's back and raked her craws deep into the dog's pelt. Her brother managed to knock down the dog again and began clawing at the dog's stomach while Mossmask was still sinking her claws into the dog's back.

Silentfall regained his senses as he watched a dog turn to the prone Mossmoth. He flung himself at the dogs face, latching onto its muzzle, and clinging there with three paws. The fourth flailing at its eyes as he tried to divert its attention with screeches of rage.

By StarClan he wouldn't be letting any cats die if they could live instead.

Blazestar snarled in rage as the dog snapped into Mouseclaw's neck, and wove between the dog and Applefur, who had taken a sharp blow to the head. Blazestar hooked his claws into the dogs haunches before he climbed up, and sunk his hind claws in for balance as he tore at the dogs back.



Viperfang gave up on swiping at the dogs face, and instead ran under the dog, digging her claws into the base of its neck and chest, pulling herself up onto it. She snarled in defiance as it shook, and sunk her teeth into its shoulder.



Ravenhallow left Quicksilver's body outside the camp as she heard more cries of pain from inside. Holding her herb bundle she darted inside, and scanned the clearing spotting Mossmoth and Willowpelt injured. She sprinted over to the closer one, Willowpelt, and quickly set to patching her up.

Greentail sank his teeth into the dog's neck, the now blind dog yowling in pain as it thrashed around, but Greentail an his sister weren't going to let that monstrous dog escape with it's life, not if they could help it.

Greentail was suddenly yanked back by the other dog that had been chasing him and his sister and thrown into the air in the blink of an eye. His eyes widened as he tried to twist his body and land on his paws but landed on his side instead, getting the wind knocked out of him.

Greentail struggled to get back up onto his paws only to feel the dog's jaws bite down on his tail, trying to drag him closer.
Greentail sunk his claws into the ground in an attempt to stay put but with another firm and painful tug on his tail he was dragged closer to the dog, leaving a bloody ripped out claw in his spot.

Greentail's tail was released, thankfully, he had felt life it would've fallen off if the dog had held on any longer, his once pure whilte tail now tainted with his own blood.

Greentail was aching but he still turned around to see his sister's ash grey and black pelt whirling around, she claws sunk deeply into the dog's haunches as she hung on for dear life.

.•°Mossmask°•.
Mossmask felt herself being thrown off the dog and her breath being knocked out of her as she landed on the ground and saw it head towards the medicine den.

Mossmask heaved herself off the ground and zoomed towards the dog, now way she was letting that disgusting thing even touch her sister.

:.°Dovewing°.:
Dovewing successfully managed to drag Mouseclaw to the medicine den and started treating his wounds, his neck wound taking first priority. Her eyes widened as she suddenly felt warm puffs of air being blown onto her back, Dovewing was frozen solid as she realized that a dog was sniffing her, soon followed by a growling noise being heard from behind her.

Dovewing turned her head just in time to see as her sister launched herself at the dog, about to land on it's back, but this time it was ready, the dog whirled around and swatted her sister away with it's huge paw, leaving behind a nasty and deep gash on her sister's side.

Dovewing stood there in horror and fear, but she pushed back her fear as she furiously hissed at the dog, she needed to protect Mouseclaw and Mossmask, or at least stall for time. Dovewing wasn't a fighter but she needed time for warriors to come and help, she launched her self at the dog, aiming for the throat.

Heartbeats later Dovewing's brother was hanging onto the dog's haunches, clawing at the dog with his hind legs. Dovewing knew that a medicine cat inexperienced in fighting and an injured warrior would only be able to hold off the dog for so long, they needed help.

Waspclaw suddenly noticed the dog attacking one of the medicine cats, Dovewing. Waspclaw looked clawed at the dog he was fighting and glanced at Mossmoth. The fall had been rough and any cat could tell she was in a great deal of pain. "Run, Mossmoth!" He hissed at her. The stubborn she-cat attempted to stand tall, but her legs shook as she hissed, "I'm fine."
"No you're not," Waspclaw hissed back, "Get out! A dead cat will do no good!" Waspclaw could see that Mossmoth wasnt going to give in easily, so he shoved her, and when she tried to go back to the fight, he shoved her again, she couldn't stop him. "If you can't stop another cat weakly shoving you, how do you expect to do any kind of damage to a dog? Run!" Waspclaw hissed one last final time, and this time, listening, Mossmoth turned tail and ran. Now that he knew Mossmoth was safe, Waspclaw charged toward the dog attacking Dovewing.

{Mossmoth}
Mossmoth felt as if her body was on fire and pain ragged inside her, but she ran as fast as she could from the fight. She cursed at herself, feeling like a useless burden, who did nothing but give a dog a few scratches. /I don't deserve to call my self a warrior... im just an elder/ She grew angry, it wasnt fair! She wasnt that old! /Why does my body age so quickly?/ Once she was far from the fight, she stopped running and caught her breath.

{Mouseclaw}
I was feeling weak now as I watched my own blood pour out beneath me. I saw Waspclaw as he charged at the dog that attacked Dovewing, I tired to call out to my friend, but nothing but a slight breeze escaped my lips, and thats when I realized, /Im going to die/ I looked out at my clanmates. I didnt want to leave them, I had so many moons left to serve them!

Wolfwind slid away from the dog she was currently taking on alone, her breathing coming in short gasps. She looked up as Mossmoth was ushered out of camp by Waspclaw, and she took in how few cats were making headway on their own battles as she wove around the dogs.

She charged after Waspclaw, striking blows to the dog as she turned to him. "We need to get to Blazestar, we can't survive this fight. Now when we're so weak." she hissed.

Waspclaw hissed, his arrogance getting the better of him, "But we can't give up, this is our camp, our home! I'd rather die then paw it off to some flea-ridden dogs!"

Lavenderpaw clawed at the dog along side Snowpaw and Viperfang, but could tell that this effort was in vain. "Snowpaw!" Lavenderpaw yowled over the sounds of the camp, "We have to get out of here! They're to big, we can't fight!"

{Snowpaw}
Snowpaw hissed, "Never! We can handle a few dogs!" Snowpaw grinded her teeth together as she ignored the firey pain and heavy tiredness that went through her every cut she got, every strike she blew.

"This is a losing battle Waspclaw. There isn't much more we can do." Wolfwind hissed, as she dodged a swiping paw from the dog. "We're down three warriors, not to mention our deputy is missing. We won't survive unless we get out of here."

Viperfang slipped away from the dog, sliding next to Snowpaw as the apprentice seemed to grow weary. Viperfang glanced around the camp as she wove around the dogs paws, hardly any cats were making any dents in the dogs defenses.

Dovewing's eyes widened and before she even knew what was happening she felt a searing pain in her throat, the dog's jaw was locked around her throat, this was it. This moment her prophecy comes true, 'A dove's wing shall snap in the jaws of a beast.' There was no saving her now, her fait was sealed.

.•°Mossmask°•.
Mossmask woke to the sight of her sister's throat being held tightly by a dog, immediately Mossmask sat up, despite the horrible pain in her side and ran to help her sister.

The dog eventually let go of Dovewing and scampered off, her brother following it, but the damage was done, Dovewing was going to join Starclan any heartbeat now. Mossmask was pretty sure she saw Waspclaw go towards Mouseclaw but she wasn't sure, right now she was focusing on her sister.

"No no no no no no, D-Dovewing, stay with me, y-you're going to be fine." Said Mossmask, trying to keep her voice steady as she desperately tried to believe the words coming out of her own mouth. She saw deep sorrow in her sister's eyes as she spoke with a small and broken voice,

"I-I'm sorry Mossmask, but my prophecy is fufilled, I-I should've t-told y-you and Greentail sooner, b-but it's to late to reget now. 'A dove's wing shall snap in the jaws of a beast.' D-don't grieve for me t-too much, y-uou'll have to move on once I'm gone."

"N-no, that prophecy i-is talking about s-something different, i-it has to be!" Begged Mossmask, not believing herself.

"T-tell Willowpelt her dream was about this dog attack, b-but there's more to come, t-the danger i-isn't over. M-my time is up, I-I promise I'll watch over you i-in Starclan." Said Dovewing with feeble gasps.

"N-no! Wait! Please don't go!" Begged Mossmask, her voice breaking.

The life faded out of Dovewing's eyes and Mossmask swore she saw two faint cats with shimmering pelts walking away, their pelts brushing together, one was a cat with a grey pelt much like Mossmask's own that she hadn't seen in a long time (Raintail, their mother) and another cat with a pure white pelt, minus the tips of the ears, which were dark ash grey.

As soon as they appeared, they were gone, but Mossmask knew she saw them. She looked down at the sight of her now dead sister and yowled in sorrow as her sister's once beautiful pelt was now stained with red.

Because the person RPing for the deputy has been inactive, they have been removed from the RP. We'll pretend that their warrior never was even in the clan because no one has metioned her. The deputy will be found dead in the woods, from the dog attack

{Waspclaw}
I opened my mouth to agure, but then I herd the ripping of flesh as the dog sank its teeth into Dovewings neck. My eyes widdened in shock. I turned and looked around the camp, we were losing, every cat's pelt stained with red, every cat looking as if they couldn't keep up for much longer. Then, I suddenly realized something /Where is the world is Mouseclaw/ Then out of the corner of my eye, I saw a brown pelt laying in the medicine den. I rushed inside right away to find my friend laying in a pool of his own blood, some of it already dried and sticking onto his fur. "Mouseclaw.." I said, in a state of shock.

{Mouseclaw}
I kinked my tail for Waspclaw to come closer so he could hear me, once he had, I spoke to the best of my ability, "Watch over my daughters for me." I meowed. With my dieing words, all I could think of was my daughters, I had to make sure they had someone their for them. i trusted Waspclaw to be a figure in their life now that I would be gone. Waspclaw looked at me is dismayed sad eyes, he looked like he was about to agure that I could live, but Waspclaw simply said "I promise." And he rested his head against mine. Waspclaw whispered, with amussment and sorrow, "Do you remember the time we, ha, the time we tried to catch a fish while swimming?" Mouseclaw remembered that day, they had gotten soaked, but some how Mouseclaw had magically caught a fish, as impossiable as it had seemed to catch a fish while swimming. "Fishclaw." Muttered Waspclaw. It was an inside joke between the two of them, it wasnt a very good one, but right now in this moment, it was the best one. Mouseclaw tried to purr in amussment, but the breath in his body was all gone, and he started to feel less and less pain, he closed his eyes and felt comforted by the feeling of Waspclaw's head against his own, /At least I don't have to die alone/ Nearly before he could finish his thought, Mouseclaw's body went still.

{Waspclaw}
Waspclaw had felt Mouseclaw's body go still, but had not moved. He stood there, eyes watery, feeling tired and as restless as ever. "Goodbye." Whispered Waspclaw, and his left the den, he didn't even look around or wait for Blazestar to give them order, numbly he yowled, "Fall back!"

{Lavenderpaw}
"Fall back!" I heard the yowl ring throughout camp, I didn't need to be told twice, I ran off as fast as I could into the forest.

{Snowpaw}
Snowpaw growled, she hurt all over, but she wasnt ready to give in, "Who made you leader?" She snarled at Waspclaw, as she continued to fight the dog. Waspclaw got in front of her and tried pushing her toward the camp edge like he did Mossmoth, but Snowpaw still had the light of battle in her eyes, and she raked Waspclaw over his open slice on his shoulder, not enough to do any extra damage, but enough to renew the pain. Waspclaw yowled out in agony. "Outta my way." Snowpaw hissed, shoving past Waspclaw to fight the dog.

"Dovewing!" Ravenhallow gasped as she looked up from finishing patching up Willowpelt. She heard Waspclaw calling for the Clan to fall back, but instead she ran towards her former fellow medicine cat.

Avoiding the dogs she turned to Moonmask. "We can't leave the dead here." She said as she nudged Dovewing's body to try and pick her up.

Blazestar dropped back from the dog he was fighting at Waspclaw's call, ready to get mad at the other cat when he realized how few warriors they had fighting now. "DuskClan, retreat!" He called out.

Blazestar glanced over to the fallen Mouseclaw and sprinted over to gather the tom. Pulling him up by his scruff as he quickly left camp.



Applefur heard the call to retreat but knew they had to get the dead out of camp for proper burials. This in mind he swiped at the nose of a dog moving towards Blazestar as he moved Mouseclaw out of camp. Out of the corner or his eye he saw Silentfall doing the same for Moonmask and Ravenhallow, distracting the dogs as they tried to come too close.

I hissed as cats left the camp, rushing out /Cowards!/ But then my eyes lay on the brown body that Blazestar rushed out of camp, and I stood still. The dog snapped its teeth at me and Waspclaw shoved me out of the dogs way, and pulled me by my scruff away from the dog towards were the cats were running. I came to my senses and stopped him, glaring at him harshly, "Where's Mouseclaw?" I asked, even though I already knew the answer, I prayed that somehow I had made a mistake, that it was not true. But the look in Waspclaw's eyes gave it away, "He died the death of a warrior, Snowpaw." Waspclaw said softly. I growled, my jaw tight, "No!" I ran back toward the dog, this time entirely forgetting my outward pain, only feeling pain inside, as i ranked my claws onto it over and over again, and bit into it as hard as I could. But the dog bent its head and bite into my shoulder hard as it could, and it was a lot stronger. I tried to hold it back but I screamed, then quickley shut my mouth. I clawed at its face savagely, crazyily, trying to do something, anything to make it let go. /It hurts so much!/ I felt the teeth pull out of my flesh as Waspclaw scratched into the dogs eyes. I stood their for a moment, gasping in pain as blood flowed out of a deep bite. I felt dizzy. Waspclaw hit me with his paw, "Run!" He yowled, "Their will be a time to fight these dogs, when we are healed and prepared, but right now would be hopless!" This time, I listened, and I started running alongside Waspclaw out of camp. /There will be a time...we will come back/

{Waspclaw}
Alongside Snowpaw I rushed out of camp, and thank StarClan the dogs did not follow, to busy ripping apart the fresh-kill pile. / I hope they feel like trying the deathberries!/ I thought, filled with rage. I wanted nothing more then to go back and fight, but I knew it would be hopless. I noticed Snowpaw was slowing down, and her eyes seemed distant, "Cmon Snowpaw, keep up!" I called back to her, she made no sign to even show she heard me, and she just got slower, suddenly, her paws feel and she crash onto the ground, out cold. I stopped and hit her with my paw, "Snowpaw, get up!" She didn't move, but I could see the raise and fall of her side. I grabbed her and tossed her onto my back and kept running, trying my best to make the weight on my back not slow me down.

Wolfwind grabbed Dovewing's body as she watched Ravenhallow struggle with it. She drug the fallen she-cat out of camp, avoiding the dogs as she slipped away from the camp.

Ravenhallow followed shortly after glancing back to the camp waiting for the others to leave as well. Silentfall limped out, one of his paws pulled up to his chest and his tail dragging behind him leaving a trail of red.

Wolfwind growled to herself as she helped Applefur carry Dovewing by draping her over his shoulders. "Find the rest of the Clan." She said before she ran up to her brother.

"Silentfall, come on let's get you off the ground." She meowed as she picked up her brother by his scruff. "Ravenhallow," she meowed around a mouthful of fur, "get his tail off the floor, we don't want a trail for the dogs to follow."

{Mossmoth}
I heard other cats heading toward me, I figured it must have been the rest of the clan retreating. I padded toward them to join them, when the scent of blood flooded me. For a moment I thought it was from the cats heading toward me, but that seemed wrong somehow. I followed my nose over to the bushes and pulled back the leaves to find Ripplepelt, throat sliced wide open and bugs covering him. I gagged at the sight and quickly turned my head away.

{Waspclaw}
Finally, I spotted other cats up ahead, including Mossmoth, and she looked disgusted about something. I softly rested a still-out Snowpaw onto the ground and went over to Mossmoth, "Whats wrong?" I asked. She coughed, "Look in the bush."
When I saw the body I wrinkled up my nose. It smelled as if it had been their for a little while, and bugs covered it. But I couldn't leave the fallen deputy in the bush, so doing my best not to breath, I grabbed the body by the scruff and pulled it out.

{Lavenderpaw}
Up ahead, I noticed Waspclaw and Mossmoth with two bloody bodies laying by them. I ran ahead to see who they where. I gasped when I saw Snowpaw, I was so shocked I hardly noticed the dead deputy. I rushed up to my sister right away, reliefed to see she was still alive. I looked at Waspclaw, who has been carrying her on his back, "Thank you." I meowed, my voice cracked with emotion. I didn't know what I would do if I ever lost Snowpaw.

@emilianagerson @cooki {If you want an idea on how big Wolfwind is to be able to carry Silentfall as she does, she's roughly like a 20 pound cat while he is like 8 pounds. I based them off a mane coon and an egyptian mau loosely of couse.}

Viperfang skittered out of the DuskClan camp, narrowly avoiding a fogs jaws. She paused as she passed Quicksilver, and grabbed her mother's body, which was already so cold.

Viperfang followed the crushed grass as she drug her mother beside her. Hoping to leave the fallen by the Clan cats to find.

Ravenhallow dropped Silentfall's tail, leaving Wolfwind to carry him alone, as the medicine cat sprinted up towards the Clan. She paused beside Snowpaw and glared at Waspclaw.

"Was she knocked out or did she pass out?" Ravenhallow demanded as she began to inspect the apprentice.

"A dog bit her, I think she passed out from pain or blood loss. She stayed awake for a while after the bite then passed out out of no were." I answered. I looked at Snowpaw wondering if she would pull through. It was a nasty looking bite.

"We need to try and wake her up." Ravenhallow meowed, as she set to cleaning out the wound. "She needs to take herbs as soon as possible, shock might set in if we don't get her to eat them." She added, as she looked around for any nearby herbs she could use.

Wolfwind hauled Silentfall the rest of the way to their rest spot, and laid her brother down in a patch of grass. He blinked around, momentarily lost before he realized where he was.

"The dogs?" He asked, trying to sit up. "Have they followed us?"

Greentail had seen all of his sister's death from across the camp, and it had felt like the entire world had disappeared, he was only snapped out of it when her heard Blazestar yell for the clan to retreat and saw others start carrying the dead and helping the injured get away.

Greentail's heart felt heavy as he trudged over to Willowpelt silently so she could use him as support, he could see the sorrow in her eyes, and also guilt for some reason. He didn't say anything as he helped her up and they hurried out of the camp.

.•°Mossmask°•.
Mossmask stood still trying to keep sobs at bay until she say a clan mate move her sister's body. She turned to Applefur and growled,

"I'll carry her myself." Her tone was harsh and out of character, but she was grieving and probably wouldn't be herself for several sunrises.

Mossmask managed to drape her sister over her shoulders and stared down the ground like if she tried hard enough she could set it on fire as she made her way out of camp, occasionally letting out a choked sob.
