FallenSnow nodded slowly, she couldn't control her shivering.
"I-i couldnt find anyone, but i was ch-asex by a dog and we fell.. it drowned.." she finished unsteadily. she laoped her toung over her fur, trying to warm herself up.

MallowPaw nodded and contenuied trying to warm up her mentor.

Viperfang nodded relieved. "Thank you." She meowed, "And if you need help, just come find me." She added, before she vanished into the woods.

Wolfwind shook her head at Waspclaw's question. "Although there was another cat helping fight, I don't know who but there was a silver cat helping Lavenderpaw and Snowpaw. Maybe that cat found Quicksilver?" She asked, worry worming its way into her voice.

Greentail and Willowpelt spotted Waspclaw bounding up to them, soon showing them the way back to where the rest of the camp had settled.

When Waspclaw asked if any of them had seen Quicksilver Greentail's pelt pricked with worry for his fellow clan mate,

"N-no, I haven't seen her, hopefully she'll turn up soon… Have you seen her, Mosmask?" Asked Greentail, not daring to turn his head to look back at his sister, knowing she was carrying his other now dead sister.

Mossmask responded with a quick,

"No." Only to sigh and then add, "I pray she'll turn up soon, Starclan knows we don't need anymore dead, so hopefully Wolfwind is right."

The description of the cat Wolfwind had mentioned sounded familiar, the only cat that came to mind was Viperfang, Mossmask had always suspected Viperfang's banishment had some foul play involved, as Blazestar's evidence hadn't been very strong in Mossmask's opinion.

Mossmask and her sister had been some of the few cats that had been against Viperfang being thrown out of the clan, but no other cats had been willing to protest with them, so there hadn't been much they could do but watch Viperfang get casted out as a murderer.

I suddenly remembered that i'd seen Viperfang helping the two young apprentices. Maybe she had found Quicksilver. When the other cats went on to say they had not seen Quicksilver, I hurried of into the forest, hopping not to run into any dogs. I was out looking for Quickksilver, but I would'nt have minded running into Viperfang to. She needed thanks for helping them in the fight, and if she was injured, she might need help. He walked deeper into the forest, running into the rouge that had helped Lavender earlier. They were dragging Quicksilvers body toward were he came from. Waspclaw's hopes of Quicksilver being alive crushed as he noticed the limp body did not have even a slight sign of life. "Where did you find her?" He asked the black-brown she-cat. "A silver she-cat wanted me to bring her body back to you guys." Smoke mumbled. Waspclaw pricked his ears, and noticed that Viperfangs scent still hung distantly in the air. She had been there. Waspclaw wished he could follow her scent, but she was no longer a clan cat, no matter how unfair it was that she was kicked out of the clan. He has a duty to put his clanmates first, but still, guilt tugged at him as he ignored her lingering scent. She had risked her life to help the clan, if it wasn't for her, Lavenderpaw and Snowpaw most likely would have been dog chow by now. "Thank you." He whispered, even though he knew she wasn't there to hear.He turned back to Smoke and grabbed Quicksilver, "Come on, if we share her weight between our backs she'll be a lot easier to get back to camp.

I nodded and helped the tom bring his fallen clan mate back to the makeshift camp. I felt awkward as cats looked shocked and sad at the dead body, and I just stood there, rather emotionless.
