SnowKit awoke, she padded around to the side of the nursery, it was night, she suddenly felt eyes had been lain apon upon her, her fur rose when she saw two yellow eyes in the dsrkness, she could hear a faint and wicked laughter, then the eyes dissapeared, maybe she was seeing things? she ignored it and started cleaning her pelt

Moonsplash got up and hurried over to Fallensnow. She looked at the wrapped cobweb and purred. Dovekit would make for a terrific medicine cat. "Good job Dovekit," she meowed, turning to Fallensnow,"Fallensnow, what happened?"

FallenSnow smiled, " well, i was walking to the prey pile when i stepped on.. something.. sharp, my paw really hurts.." she moaned she lay her head down

DoveKit licked her moms head, "Dont worry, i will become a medicine cat so i can help you and everyone else in the clan.." she mewed

SnowKit padded back to the nursery, she felt lonely and sad, but she lay in the entrence until someone came back..

Moonsplash gently pulled the webs that back from Fallensnow's paw. There was still blood flowing from her paw, but luckily it wasn't too much. She peered at the wounded paw. "I don't think whatever cut you is still in your paw," Moonsplash said. She rewrapped Fallensnow's paw. "Dovekit, please stay with your mom," She meowed,"I'm going to see if there's anything sharp by the freshkill pile."

Otterheart padded to the apprentice's den to find Articpaw.

Falconheart moved through the camp she stayed near the edges due to her habit of moving unnoticed. She appeared by the nursery and saw Snowkit all alone.

Cloversky missed a mouse again, too tired to hunt correctly, thrashing in the bushes like a one-legged fox. "Ugh", she snarled.

While Arcticpaw was napping, she felt a presence at the entrance of the apprentice's den. Half-asleep, she hauled herself onto her paws to see who it was. She was fully awake when she realized that it was Otterheart who was standing before her. "Otterheart!" she greeted, "Are we going to train today?" she inquired with a tone of statement in her voice.

Otterheart nodded,"Yes, we're going to be doing some hunting practice. Depending on how that goes we might do some battle training." She flicked her tail to motion Articpaw to follow. She moved out of the camp and turned to see if Articpaw was following.

Otterheart continued walking a bit farther. "Ok so let's learn some techniques before actually trying to catch something." She felt a slight breeze blowing her scent towards Articpaw. "Alright, so if you were to close your eyes, you would be able to tell that I'm in front of you based on scent alone right?" she meowed.

Otterheart crouched down. Her belly was just barely above the forest floor. Her tail was low to the ground but didn't touch it. "This is the hunter's crouch," she meowed,"Basically you are low to the ground so that ideally the prey won't spot you."

"Well assuming there was some grass you'd try moving with the wind. That way you'd match the grasses. Otherwise if it was just dirt, I think you'd need to move purely silently and as fast as possible," she meowed.

FallenSnow soon fell asleep of exaughstion with her kit next to her

SnowKit groaned in boredom, "GingerPaw..... SomeOne.. play with mmmeeeee...." She grunted then sat up, she saw the tunnel and looked to the left.. looked to the right... then bolted out the entrence, she gazed out at the forest, she remembered it.. she padded out further into the forest.. she hid in a bush when she heard voices

Otterheart started slinking forward, remaining low to the ground. "Now try moving in a crouch. Remember to avoid thin branches or dried leaves. They make a nasty crunch and definitely alert any sane animal that you're around," she meowed.
