Wolfstar's eyes widened "Wasn't Moonburst with you, did you follow my instructions, why didnt he try to stop her"?
She flattened her ears in grief and used her tail to pull them closer to her and her kits, trying to comfort them.

Moonburst's heart pounded as he found the marigolds,he couldn't dare show his face after what happened so he buried Dewkit in the marigold patch and ran away,never to return to the clan,but his scent in the air was incredibly strong and it could last for days

((btw Leafshade is probably going to have to find moonburst 😸))

dawnkit licked flamekits head "we'll be okay" then she looked outside with flamekit and murmured "may starclan welcome you, sister."

Wolfstar was worried and concerned for Moonburst "Where is Moonburst now, shouldn't he have come back with you"?
Her heart raced worrying for her kits,Flamekit and dawnkit,and Moonburst.

Moonburst continued to run not looking back

Leafshade overheard the conversation. "Did he get hit?!" she meowed anxiously. He should've come back. "I'm going to find him." She raced off in the direction of the marigold patch. When she came to the Thunderpath, she saw blood on the black rock. Crying out in anguish and grief, she ran into the Thunderpath, not watching for monsters. She sniffed the blood. It was Dewkit's! Moonburst was still alive! She bounded across the Thunderpath and into the woods on the other side. When she approached the marigold, she stopped. He wasn't there.
"Moonburst?" she called. No answer. She looked around, and found a small disturbed pile of dirt. Dewkit must've been buried here. She found Moonburst's scent trail and followed it. She called again after a while.

((Is there a response? And Fallensong is tending to Jaykit, so she left a few things to do to Skykit and Flamekit, but they need her permission to get herbs.))

((Flamekit and Dewkit went to fetch Marigold for Fallensong. They went with Moonburst. They had to cross a Thunderpath, and Dewkit got hit. Flamekit ran back to camp to tell the others, while Moonburst ran away and buried Dewkit. He realized he could've stopped Dewkit and refuses to return to the Clan. Leafshade is now looking for him, and Fallensong is tending to Jaykit.))

Moonburst heard Leafshade's call in the distance and he suddenly stopped he trembled,he was standing in a pile of leaves and he curled up in a ball and felt extremely gulity for his cowardness

Leafshade called again. He had to be close. He wouldn't just leave her...
Would he?

Fallensong collapsed on the ground. She needed apprentices fast. Two of the kits were helping her, but she needed an apprentice to give full responsibilities to. This was too much. She waited for StarClan to give her a sign, but they stayed silent.

Hawkfur grinned. He had his dirt on Moonburst. Now he needed some on Leafshade.

Valleyfeather slipped into a dream. A cat she had never seen before came to visit. He was sleek; must've been from the Clan a long time ago. He spoke in words Valley feather couldn't decipher.

Wolfstar opened her eyes and stretched while she got up
she looked at her slumbering kits and smiled,soon afterwards she padded outside her den and sat infront of the entrance. She still didnt see Moonburst return and she began to worry.

Moonburst was still hiding in the pile of leaves letting gulit take over him

Skunkkit woke up and saw her mother outside. she rushed over to Wolfstar and mewed "Mommy you look sad,are you okay mom,if its about dad he went hunting i think".

Wolfstar glanced over at Skunkkit and mewed in a somewhat sad tone "No....its not your dad I know where he is,Im not sad dont worry sweetie".
She began to lick her pelt clean

Darkshadow walked into the nursery holding a little bird in his mouth. he dropped it in front of Wolfstar and asked "Hungry?" then to Skunkkit, "How are you?"

Shadowkit could hear his dad so he opened his eyes and yawned "Mom is that dad?"

Wolfstar forced a smile to her face and said "Yup,im extremely hungry"!
she began to dig into the mouse,but she barely ate anyof if before she looked up and turned her head towards Shadowkit
"Yeah you're dad is here Shadowkit".
Grief and worry spread across her face as she looked down at her paws

Skunkkit exclaimed "DAD"!
She leaped towards him and clinged onto his neck
"I missed you and im doing just fine"!
she purred loudly

Darkshadow purred, he saw Wolfstar's worried face, he walked over and sat next to her. wrapping his tail around Wolfstar's back, and pulling Skunkkit close to his with a paw. "Are you ok?" He asked Wolfstar.

Fallensong gasped. "What?!" she hissed. The great warrior couldn't be gone. He was too smart.

Leafshade called again and heard leaves rustling. She padded in the direction of the sound.

Moonburst was there.

rapidkit turned from where he was, trying to sniff out his family. he soon found his sister skunkkit and barreled her over with his paws and laughed a bit. Icekit smiled a bit "oh you two act like kits!" she mewed "its because we are kits!" rapidkit said back.

"Yeah just overwhelmed. StarClan won't speak to me. I need an apprentice now. You're five moons, right? We will need to talk to Wolfstar about making you and your littermates apprentices soon." Fallensong sat up. "Maybe I could talk to her now. Would you fetch her for me?"

Wolfstar sighed with grief and answered "Dewkit died yesterday by a monster on thunder path .....and Moonburst hasn't come back yet,im afraid he got hit by the monster too, Flamekit and Dawnkit said he went back to get the marigolds,but he should of been back by now"!
Tears swell in her eyes as she thought about it

Skunkkit looked at Wolfstar and heard the bad news and asked Darkshadow " Dad, is Moonburst going to die"?
She began to worry

Moonburst quickly got up and saw Leafshade "No dont take me back to camp,I cant show my face there ever again"!
His fur was in a mess and he backed away with tears swelling in his eyes
"I let my fear rake over and what did it cost, A LIFE LEAFSHADE, A LIFE"!
He trembled and his eyes widen to the max

Wolfstar saw Skykit and forced another smile "Yes Skykit im here, Do you need something"?

Leafshade ran to him and threw her face in his fur. "It's alright, Moonburst. I heard what happened. The Clan won't be mad at you, they can't. You are our best warrior, and should have been deputy a long time ago. I love you, Moonburst, and there will be no WolfClan or us without you. I won't be the same..."
