MintClan is located just off the end of a large lake. It is just far enough to avoid flooding, and the Clan itself is located in a small grove in the trees growing by the edge of the lake. The dens are woven from reeds and waterproof leaves, and are floatable in case of flooding.
They are a far cry away from kittypets and two-legs, making sightings of either of these very rare and uncommon, but not impossible. The Clan has lived in a relative peace for the past few moons, although the arrival of a few strange cats soon has that peace on a shaky foundation.

{The Camp}

A large wall of woven reeds encompasses the Clan, with one main entrance/exit, and two emergency exits located behind the warriors den and the medicine cat den. Coming in from the main entrance there is a small open space, and then off to the left side sits the leader's den. Across and a bit down is the warriors den, a fox-length away is the apprentices den. At the edge of the camp is the medicine den, elders den and nursery, with the nursery on the left side, the elders den on the right side and the medicine den in the middle with a smaller alcove woven for herb storage. Each den is lined inside with soft grass on the floor and the walls are lined with waterproof leaves to prevent leaks.

A small chest-like den sits in the middle of the camp, used for prey storage and can be closed in the event of rain to keep prey dry.

Personality: He’s ambitious, cunning and charismatic. He is able to talk his way out of problems, and into good situations, often painting another in a different light to make him look good.
Appearance: A ginger tom with white paws, the markings of which curl upwards like flames. He also has a bright white patch on his chest.
Past: Born and raised in the Clan, his mother took on another mate after his father died, and he grew jealous of his half-sibling. Doing all he could to make her look bad, while making him look better in the process. He took the final opportunity to kick her out of the Clan by claiming she had attacked her own clan-mates and ended up killing one of them after a rogue attacked the small patrol. During this time he managed to get himself in the position of deputy, and upon the most recent leaf-bare he took over the role of leader after the former leader passed.

Past: She joined the Clan from a loner heritage at the age of 11 moons, and after becoming a proper warrior she fell for the deputy at the time, and gave birth to a single kit. She raised him with his father until the deputy's untimely death. A few moons after her son became a warrior she found a rogue, and soon bore a kit with him. After her son exiled her daughter Quicksilver retired, the events shaking her too badly to remain a warrior.

Eye Color: The left is a dark brown, almost black, and the right is an ice-blue.
Personality: She’s very reserved, she stays to herself more often, and she tends to be very rude and sharp-tongued to outsiders. She is loyal to those she is friends with, and will often defend them to her own death.
Appearance: A silver she-cat with brown ears, paws, tail and muzzle. Across her left eye is a scar of three parallel lines, crossing over the eyelid, and from the corner of her lip on the right side stretches a scar pulling up towards her cheek.
Past: She was born to a rogue father and Clan mother, pushed away from her half-brother, and was almost always his scapegoat for anything that went wrong. During a particularly unfortunate border patrol her close friend, Scarleap, was attacked by a rogue who killed him, and Viperfang was exiled from the Clan after her brother convinced the Clan that she had killed him.
She moved onto her father’s land, having kept contact with him every now and then, and remains there even after her father’s death.

She was raised by her aunt and father, alongside her brother. She moved on to be a medicine cat when she realized that she preferred to help others as opposed to being out.

Personality: He’s aggressive, rude and power-hungry. He is very territorial, and protective over everything he has and craves more land despite currently living alone.
Appearance: A black spotted brown pelt, much like a bengal, with small slivers missing from his ears. He has scars across his muzzle, and a few patches of fur missing on his pelt from fights.
Past: He was raised in a pack of rogues, set to be the next leader by birth right, although after an outbreak of greencough and other illness killed a majority of the group Cobra was left with finding his own home. He left what was left of the rogues to survive on their own and eventually found his way near Clan lands.

Personality: He can be rather bipolar, going from wise and calm to rude and hostile at any moment. He is most loyal to cats that are close to him, and does not take loss well.
Appearance: Tall lean brown tom with a long tail
Past: He was born to a kittypet named Grace with his brother Fox and his sisters Moth and Red. When they were about a moon old, their rouge father killed their mother and took them to his rouge pack. Midnight, one of the rouge pack members, trained Wasp to help him escape. When they where four moons old, Wasp ran away with his sisters, his brother picking to stay. Midnight was forced to give her life to help the kits get away. Moth gets sick along the way and dies. Wasp takes the loss hard and him and Red have no idea where to go, but when they are half-straved and close to death, they are found by a MintClan patrol. Mossmoth took them in as her kit had just died, and new kits would fill the hole. Waspclaw trained hard, wanting to serve the clan that had saved his life, and along the way feel in love with Viperfang. When he was 16 moons old, his brother Fox came to visit, admiting he had killed Moth because she was sick and slowing them down. Waspclaw nearly kills his brother and tells him not to return. Redleaf does not take Fox's actions well and starts to question the meaning of living, and takes on a badger alone one day because she didn't care if she died, which she did. Not long after,his best friend Mouseclaw died form a fox attack, making Waspclaw promise to look after his daughters. Mossmoth passed a moon later of greencough. And not much longer after that, Blazestar blamed Viperfang for a murder and she was cast out. Waspclaw feel into depression and became more short with his clanmates and from time to time questions the meaning of his own life, wanting to serve his clan, but feeling like he wasn't the right cat for the job. He lost much confidence in himself and who he was, not having anyone close anymore.

@emeraldstar The Clan is pretty far away from humans, so I'd advise against kitty pets as there's no good place for them to live. Unless you want them as former kittypets.

Past: He was born to a tribe-like group called the Scorch with his brother Night's Flare. Their mother took in a young Pathwalker as the young kits mother died during kitting. The trio grew up together and when the Scorch was nearly wiped out by an unknown disease they left, soon being found by Dual River and Tall Cavern. The two quickly took a parental bond to the trio and they have been a family ever since.

Personality: She's got a temper, and she tends to be very harsh in what she says. She is a bit rude, and although she means well her words tend to come off as a bit too rude.
Appearance: A ginger and brown she-cat, she has a long tail.
Past: She was born to a mother who died in kitting, and her father being the leader of the Scorch. She was raised by Night's Flare and Shadowed Brook's mother, and was basically family to the two brothers. She experienced firsthand the cause of the unknown disease that wiped out the Scorch, seeing it originate from a group of four loners who the Scorch took in for a few moons. She watched her father succumb to the illness and promptly took her adoptive family and left the Scorch. They soon found the other survivors Tall Cavern and Dual River, and the five of them became like a big mishmash family.
