Leaftail awoke. She saw the leader coming towards the medicine den. ''Hello Blazestar, how can I help you?'' she asked calmly.

Thrushsong heard something behind her. It was a rouge! She pounced on it but it threw her off. Leopardfur came to help his sister. Even though this rouge seemed an ex-kittypet they knew how to fight. In the end, both of them dragged her to the medicine cat den to Blazestar at the medicine cat den ''Look what we found on clan territory'' Leopardfur smirked. ''What's your name kittypet?''

Onyx started at him ''Your dumb to think I would tell YOU my name. Now get off me fleapelt.'' she growled pushing Leopardfur off and then pushing Thrushsong off. Onyx had been a kittypet but she escaped and one day joined a clan. She passed her apprenticeship but the day after a tragic event happened, killing half of the clan. She left the clan and became a rouge again.

Blazestar nodded. "I was hoping you could come with a small patrol to investigate a smell of rot coming from the rogue border. I'm a bit worried some kind of sickness killed one of the rogues. I thought you might be able to help identify if a sickness was the cause of death if it was a cat." He meowed to Leaftail, glancing to the camp entrance as he spotted a commotion between Leopardfur, Thrushsong and some rogue.

"The patrol wouldn't be leaving immediately, but hopefully you can give me an answer once I deal with this." He finished before heading over to the trio.

{Lavenderfur}
I batted opened my eyes and yawned. I lightly smacked Snowburn with my tail, "Why do you have to get me up so early?" I meowed.
"Its after the dawn patrol you furball." Snowburn responded. I got to my paws and yawned once more. Snowburn rolled her eyes but cuffed her sister affectionetly on the ear. "Go do something useful you lump." She meowed before walking out of the den. Lavenderfur fought the urge to crawl back into her nest.

{Snowburn}
I walked out of the den, suprised to see a few cats surrounding some rouge in the cat. I was about to pad up to get a closer look but a mound and cream fur stood in front of me. I groaned as I regonized the scent and I batted Berrycloud's side out of my face.

{Berrycloud}
"Oh Snowburn, you never visit me anymore girlie!" I meowed, pressing my side to Snowburn. She seemed tense. "Are you okay kitten? Warriors work is tough, really should try the nursery sometime, its so cozy and warm!" i meowed, purring at just the thought. "Oh getting up at dawn and walking around must be so tiring. Speaking of moving into the nursery when are you going to get a tom? You need a tom and kits darling its only natural for a she-cat." I paused as I heard Snowburn groan. "Oh don't get like that." I meowed, "It's true and one day you'll say the same to your kits." I glanced down at Snowburn's paws, "Honestly, Snowburn, you're paws are covered in dirt! Tom's like clean she-cats you know." I stopped as Snowburn pushed past me just muttering, "Thats nice, mother." I sighed as she went off to go look at some rouge. I sat down and washed myself, dieing for somecat to talk to.

{Waspclaw}
I noticed some rouge had come into camp, many cats were starting to surround them. I padded foward to take a look for myself. I opened my mouth but then shut it, I should let Blazestar ask questions first.

Onyx pushed both cats off and stood up. She looked around. Around half of the clan was staring at her. The leader was coming towards her. She growled defensively.

Blazestar turned to Leopardfur and Thrushsong, "Bring her to my den, I don't think she's all too fond of the sudden crowd gathering. I'll speak to her alone." He meowed, before beckoning Waspclaw towards him.

Thrushsong stood on one side of her ''The leader wants a word'' she meowed.

Leopardfur still tried to drag her.

In anger, Onyx scratched Leopardfur hard and he ran to the medicine cat den.

Onyx tried to escape but Thrushsong stood on her tail. Onyx gave in and went to the leaders' den.

Leopardfur sat next to Leaftail ''It burns! I'm dying! Save me Leaftail!!!'' he yelped.

''Your not dying. Stop acting like an over dramatic kit'' she growled. Leaftail examined the wound. It was a gentle scratch, usually painless. Her brother was obviously acting up for attention. ''There's nothing wrong with you! Now off to work with you!'' She meowed shooing him out the medicine cat den.

Blazestar entered his den after Thrushsong. "You can leave us once Waspclaw joins. I'm hoping that less attention directly can help you stay calmer." Blazestar meowed to the rogue.

I followed Blazestar and the rouge inside Blazestars den. I wondered what the rouge was doing here in camp.

Onyx secretly appreciated that he wanted her more relaxed and without lots of eyes watching her. She appreciated he wasn't trying to humiliate her in front of the clan.

Blazestar nodded to Waspclaw as his deputy joined them. He turned to the rogue they had brought in, "Do you happen to have a name?" He asked, starting with a simple question. He hoped he could pry some information out of her before her fate was decided.

Onyx would of rolled her eyes if this wasn't such a serious matter. She obviously had a name. ''Yes, I so happen to. It's Onyx'' she answered.

My tail drooped as the rouge was taken inside, but I could understand, she didn't seem to like all us crowding around her. I turned to see Lavenderfur slowly padding out of the warriors den. I could see Berrycloud was about to get to her paws and talk to her. I rushed up to Lavenderfur to save her from speaking with Berrycloud. "Hey sleepy." I meowed. "Leopardfur and Thrushsong just brought some rouge to camp, Blazestar and Waspclaw are talking to them now." I meowed, letting her in on what had been happening

I purred, happy to have someone to talk to. "Oh I can't complain, enough prey and a mossy nest is everything I need." I meowed, I glanced for a moment longingly at my daughters. then back to Quicksilver. "And how about you, Quicksilver?"

"Thats good." I meowed. "I wish I could keep you company in the elders den, but i've got many moons left in me to care for kits." I meowed. Then added, "Sure, they wouln't be my own kits, those days are past, but still, taking care of the young ones is enjoyable."

Leopardfur ran towards the leaders' den. ''We should keep her as a prisoner!'' Leopardfur shouted from outside.

Leaftail came to, but she slapped her brother with her tail. ''We should give her a chance in the clan!'' Leaftail called from outside.

Thrushsong stood next to her siblings ''Quiet, don't you realise it's a meeting?'' she growled.

Blazestar flicked his tail in slight annoyance. "Do ignore them," he muttered, "They haven't seen many outside cats within the Clan"

He shook his head once again. "Regardless, would you like a bit of time to think over my question?"

I nodded to Snowburn, I opened my mouth to reply when I heard Leopardfur shout at the leaders den. I meowed a laugh, "Was that really nessicary Leopardfur?" I meowed, smiling.

{Berrycloud}
I nodded, "Yes that true. At the same time though, bringing up kits is a lot of work, being an elder must be nice, not having to worry about anything."

{Waspclaw}
I narrowed my eyes at the rouge, "Whats your reasoning? And how do we know we can trust you?" I meowed, I wasn't about to let some random rouge join the clan without at least asking some questions.

Quicksilver nodded, "I suppose but it does get rather boring. Quite honestly I regret retiring, but things haven't been quite right with my mind. I fear I could cause problems during patrols and at most I'd make the nursery too crowded if a nursing queen joins." She meowed.

Leopardfur looked at Lavenderfur and laughed. ''No, it wasn't really necessary but atleast it was enjoyable.'' he meowed.

''I know the code. And, I'm not a killer. And, I want to learn what it's like to be in a clan. I want to be taught properly, instead of teaching myself and not knowing whether it's right or not.'' Onyx meowed.

Swiftfeather looked at Leopardfur and Leaftail yelling and Thrushsong calming them down. ''Seriously? They're having an important meeting. You shouldn't interrupt them!'' Swiftfeather meowed.

I laughed lightly walked over to talk with Leopardfur and Thrushsong, "Where did you guys find this rouge anyway?" I asked, "Were they hostile?"

{Snowburn}
I stayed behind as my sister went to go be social with the others. I sat down and looked out blankly into the forest thinking to myself. I enjoyed moments to myself such as this. I watched high up in the trees and birds fluttered and jumped around in them. I rested my chin on my paws and stared across the ground, snorting lightly to blow dirt, I watched the little flecks of dirt blow a little way before landing on grass.

{Waspclaw}
I kept my eyes narrow and sense's alert, I wasn't going to be easy. " And who taught you the code?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.

Blazestar nodded at Waspclaw's question. If this cat knew the code that meant she either knew former Clan cats, or which there were few, or she had stumbled upon a different Clan. Although the latter was unlikely, as the closest Clan he could think of was well over six moons of travel away.

Ice-kit (paw) curled up in her den purring happily as she slept. Her tail twitched suddenly and she sat up quickly, scared silly by the movement. She licked her chest and looked outside to see if the sun was up. When she saw it she bound out of her small den that Bird-fall had dug for her. She padded around camp. it was so close to her 6th moon and she couldn't wait to be an apprentice.

Bird-fall heard Blaze-star leave the Warrior den. He stretched out and heard his bones crack. He twitched his tail and smirked as he saw Ice-kit. She was so excited to be an apprentice and watching her grow up was so enjoyable.
