Please note that this will have a bit of a reading portion in order for things to be understood better.

FrostClan is located in a mountain valley, in a forest of pines. Even in summer it tends to be slightly cold. The Clan itself is located in a cave at the base of a short cliff. The dens are smaller caves branching off from small locations and there are many ledges scattered around the main cave for cats to relax upon. The most iconic being the High Ledge above the leaders den where meetings are held. A gap in the roof of the cave allows for light to filter into the camp.
The weather during the warm moons(New leaf and green leaf) is typically very windy and humid. During leaf fall the rain picks up and it can often turn to sleet. In leafbare blizzards are fairly common and avalanches are uncommon although they still occur and pose the risk of sealing cats in the cave for days at a time unless they can evacuate before it occurs.
The cats living in this Clan have long since been altered by a variety of outside sources but mainly as a result of genetic testing by twolegs. This has caused the cats to physically mutate and develop abilities.


There are two types of mutations common amongst the Clan. Physical mutations and non physical mutations. The two never exist within the same host, and each cat can have one or the other or none at all.
Physical mutations can have cats developing other attributes, such as a scorpion stinger in place of a tail or a birds wings on their back. And so forth, these qualify for both lesser and stronger mutations in this case. And a cat that has these mutations do not develop powers, although their kits can have a physical mutation or a nonphysical mutation.
Nonphysical mutations amongst the Clan cats are mutations to allow them to develop powers. These are commonly simple things such as telekinesis and levitation, although if the mutation is deep running it can often be something more powerful such as pyrokinesis or umbrakinesis. Not every cat mutates in this way, and having mutated parents is no guarantee to develop such a mutation.
But one thing that is shown is that a mutated kit cannot come from two nonmutated parents. And two strongly mutsted parents have strongly mutated kits.
Essentially the genetics run this way:
XX = No mutation
Xx= Weak mutation
xx= Strong mutation

There have been rogues observed showing mutations, but these all are descendants from Clan cats, as without the gene from the Clan rogues cannot produce mutated kits.


The newborn kits are usually named after something seen upon, or quickly following the birth of the kit. These can include things physically seen or even things seen in the mother's dreams.
Each leader elects a panel of strong warriors dubbed the "Head Warriors", a trio of trusted warriors who the leader typically is supposed to speak to alongside deputy, shaman and medicine cat when making decisions.
The Shaman is the cat born to the Clan gifted to see into the future and past, allowing for them to learn from and warn of disasters. There is one born every generation and each cat gifted with this ability and they are chosen by the previous shaman to become the next. There is usually a 30 moon gap between each, although rare cases have shown the next Shaman being born as close to 10 moons after the previous showing an early demise for the prior shaman.


- No god modding, sues, or powerplaying.
- Omni powers, save for omnilingualism, weather manipulation, invisibility, shape changing into more than one thing, mind reading, death/life manipulation and time/space manipulation aren't to be used
- Keep genders even
- Only one mutation per cat, the only time a cat shoud have two mutations is if they are a chimera and if you plan to make one you must ask permission first otherwise they will not be accepted
- Please be active, if you are not going to be able to post please notify me ahead of time so I can find a way to maintain your characters in a stasis.
- One power per nonphysical mutation, but a max of three physical mutations
- When coming up with kits keep the genetic chart in mind
- Max of twelve characters
- Only two high positions max per person, and don't be hp's that coincide with one another.
- Have proper spelling and grammar for the most part and try to avoid one word/sentence replies
- Normal pelts and coat colors unless part of a mutation. Eyes are the exception
- If you have been accepted and later make new characters please wait for the new characters to be accepted before you use them
- If you have a plot idea feel free to PM me and see if it will be used, but that said don't do any major plots without my permission
- Keep everything forum appropriate
- You get three warnings for breaking any rules(including forum rules) after that you're kicked from the RP

Looks: A rather tall cat, she has light brown fur with dark brown siamese points and white eyes.
Personality: She is bold and caring for her friends and family, she refuses to back down from a fight if it means keeping her Clan safe. She is very no nonsense and tends to be more level headed in stressful situations.
Past: She was born to the Clan alongside her sister Twinriver, when they were three moons their mother and father died in a river flooding. The two were quickly taken in by a close friend and raised alongside her kits.
Shortly after they began their training though their adoptive mother fell I'll after inhaling smoke causing her to stay in the nursery much to Caveflowers dismay. As Caveflower grew older she also became more wary of her abilities. Starting to hone them in better than she was previously able to.
A few moons ago she became deputy and she remains there, glad to be in a post to better serve her Clan keep watch over her family.

Personality: He's ambitious, cunning and intelligent. He is capable of manipulating his words to work his way out of sticky situations. He has a short temper, but expresses a calm and collected anger as opposed to fiery rage. Despite this he knows when enough is enough and he has the sense to know when he takes something too far.
Past: He was raised in the Clan and watched his parents retire shortly after he became an apprentice. He strived to make his parents proud being the only kit, but as they passed away of old age not too long after he became a warrior he swore to do the best he could in their name.
A few moons into his new spot as warrior he fell for a she-cat named Sunclaw, quickly taking her for a mate although it wasn't until their life in the Clan became secure and he became a Head Warrior that they had kits. Being close friends with Lightbrook he and Sunclaw agreed to take in Caveflower and Twinriver after the kits parents drowned.
He did the best he could to set all his kits, adopted or not, on the path to good things. When his mate got sick and retired to the Nursery full time Flaretail started slipping and stepped down from his former position, knowing he wouldn't be able to do much in his unsteady state but he remains as a warrior.

Looks: A blue eyed she-cat, whose eyes always seem hopeful and happy. She is an orange tabby with faint black stripes, and darker orange stripes. Her paws are white with black splotches. She seems to glow like the sun.

Personality: High-spirited. Although when in war, her eyes seem dull and fierce. They make most enemies not want to cross her path. She is intelligent and well liked by the others.

Past: Her Mother passed away after giving birth to her. She was the only kit, which was a rare occurrence. Some speculate that her Mother passed because of her double tails, which scarred her insides because of the flame. She does not believe that though. Her father had passed away before she was born in battle.

Past: She fell into a stream. Her father (Firepelt) jumped in to save her. He threw her out but then got swept down the stream. He got caught in a rock, and then hit his head. He drowned. Now Shadowkit ignores her and acts horrible towards everyone.

@valleries1 The mutation types were covered in the section labeled "Mutations" and having a scorpion tail dubs him with a Physical mutation, not Non-Physical. But both are accepted.

@lailaluckyseal87 Why is Sunpaw's name Sunpaw when she is a warrior? As well the kits are siblings yet they are a full moon apart, Snowkit reads like a Mary sue as does Shadowkit. Please fix that. And Sunpaw being Polyclaudal wouldn't necessarily be listed in the Mutation section as those are for the physical/non physical aspects of the altered genes of the cats.

Shadowbrook did his best to live up to his own expectations set by his parents, and even after their leaving of their prior positions he tends to try to make them proud.

He tends to get into trouble, but isn't always able to work his way out of it as his father can. Instead Nightflare is able to own up to his mistakes, regardless of how bad they are.
Past: He was born to the Clan and raised alongside Shadowbrook, Twinriver and Caveflower after the two sisters lost their mother. He strove to one day get up in a similar rank as his father was when Nightflare was a kit, although after Flaretail stepped down Nightflare is a bit unsure on how to proceed.

Looks: Sunclaw is a black and ginger tortie with warm amber eyes. She has two extra eyes, set above and a bit closer to the center than her normal eyes and her tail tapers off into a wasp like stinger. On her back rest translucent wasp like wings.
Personality: She's caring and loving, always eager to help others and she rarely abandons her duty once given. Even if it is just watching a queens kits to give her some space.
Sunclaw is a rather gentle she-cat and will very rarely attack something without reason.
Past: Sunclaw was born born to the Clan alongside her brother, Axe. At a young age she knew that she wanted to raise kits and her brother often made fun of her for wanting to be cooped up in the nursery for so long. When if became obvious that Axe didn't hace a reason to stay with FrostClan the tom left the Clan and abandoned his Clan name taking up the name of Axe instead. Sunclaw turned away from her brother, even when he tried to speak to her during patrols. During this time she grew closer to her long time friend Flaretail, and the two decided to be mates. But they held off having kits until Flaretail became a Head Warrior.
During her time in the nursery Sunclaw adopted her friends kits after both parents drowned in the river.
For six moons her brother didn't bother her and no news was heard from him and it wasn't until a moon after her own kits became apprentices that she discovered he had two sons.
Sunclaw offered to take them both to the Clan but only one chose to go with her. She simply told the Clan that the kit was found alone in the forest, refusing to share her connection to him. A few moons later she caught the news that Axe died.
It wasn't until after an incident left Sunclaw unable to do proper warrior duties that she decided to retire to the nursery hoping to do some good in her remaining moons.

Past: Born to kittypet mother named Grace with his sisters Moth and Red, and his brother Fox. His father, a rogue named Bear, killed their mother. He and his siblings were taken to live with their father in a rouge camp. An old she-cat was able to help Wasp and his sisters escape, but Fox stayed behind with the rouges. Wasp's sister Moth died along the way. The old she-cat had told Waspclaw about the clan, and thats where he and his sister headed. A patrol found the kits starved and half-dead. Mossmoth took the kits in and raised then. Waspclaw vowed his loyalty to the clan that saved his life. His sister died at 16 moons old of badger attack and Mossmoth went of sickness not long after.

@lailaluckyseal87 Their personalities, the concept behind no one knowing who the it is father was and yet they are able to know who he was when he died, and the fact that their eyes change when using their powers.

Mutation Additions(Physical Mutations only): Small patches of her fur are silvery serpent scales, a thin forked tongue, and her fangs are venom filled like a snakes.
Looks: A silvery-gray she-cat with patches of saw scaled snake scales, she has brown siamese markings and one ice-blue eye, one brown eye so dark it is nearly black. Her fangs are slightly longer, resembling more of a snakes and are venom filled. Her tongue is long and thin as well as forked, with the front portion being black in coloration instead of pink.
Personality: She’s very reserved, she stays to herself more often, and she tends to be very rude and sharp-tongued to outsiders. She is loyal to those she is friends with, and will often defend them to her own death.
Past: She was born and raised in the Clan alongside her two siblings and cousins. She had a bit of trouble making friends, although she didn't mind it too much. She grew closer to those few friends she did make, and she tended to be more supportive of her family and friends this way.
She caught wind of her brothers plans to get her and Duskpool exiled from the Clan, although she remained secure knowing that Graystar wouldn't allow such a disgrace to occur in the Clan. But after his passing Viperfang is far more wary of her brother than she once was.

From that day on Leopardclaw always hated rouges and loners. So when Icestar became leader he was not very happy. He knew Snowfrost was Icestar's half sister, and he loved Snowfrost so didn't dare to set a claw on Icestar.

Power(Non-physical mutation only): Wolfwind is capable of turning into an 85 pound gray wolf.

Looks: A rather large scruffy and long furred gray she-cat. Wolfwind has silver paws, muzzle, tail and underbelly. She has light orange eyes. Roughly she is about 20 pounds.
Personality: Very diplomatic, Wolfwind is understanding and rational in the face of danger. She grew more stoic after her brother passed, although she still understands the importance of being kind to others. Wolfwind tends to hide her own issues behind jokes, often very self-deprecating jokes. She tries to keep a cap on her temper as she fears a repeat of the incident involving her brother.
Past: Wolfwind was born to a mother who was arguably too old to be having kits, and who died two moons after having her kits. She was raised by her aunt alongside her cousins after that. When they started their apprenticeship Wolfwind's powers came further into light, as she had previously been thought to be powerless, when she lost her temper and severely injured her brother.
Wolfwind became overcome with grief as her brother passed away while still an apprentice and she slowly started to be less open with others. Despite this though she didn't turn her back on her power, instead she triend to become more attuned to it. Although she still only uses it as a last resort if at all possible.
She grew outraged as her cousin Blazeheart created a plot against Viperfang and told the leader at the time, Graystar, who simply decided to see if anything occured. Unknown to Wolfwind Blazeheart had caught wind and left his plan unattended. Shortly after Graystar passed leaving Icestar in his place.

Personality: She's cold and aloof, relatively sticking to herself and the rare few friends she makes. She's very watchful and cautious of nearly everything that others do, and tends to know a bit more about the workings and relations of the Clan because of this. Making her something of a gossip between her small circle of friends.
Past: Duskpool was born to a Clan mother and a rogue father, she was very rambunctious around her siblings, and cousins when they were growing up. And Duskpool often ended up in trouble as a result of her behavior. Despite this she never really calmed down until thy became apprentices.
She often hung closer to Viperfang and her two cousins than anyone else as they grew up.
When her mother died after a fire started in the territory during a patrol Duskpool slowly started to push herself further away from others. She was the one to keep Wolfwind going after Silentpaw passed away after training.

Past: Dawnquill was born to two rogues, a full blooded rogue mother and a formerly Clan cat father. He was raised by his father from four moons, until at seven moons he met Sunclaw while she was on a patrol. This led to him asking her to take him to the Clan where he soon grew to love being in.

Past: Hazel was born to two rogues, a full blooded rogue mother and a formerly Clan cat father. From age four he was raise by his father after a fox attack killed their mother. At seven moons a she-cat from the Clan happened across the rogues and took Dawnquill with her back to the Clan. After that Hazel slowly plotted out the rest of his fate, taking it upon himself to ensure not even his father would be able to half him from taking the glory Hazel so desperately desires. When his father died of greencough Hazel was finally free to set his plan into action, and soon Hazel began plotting with a few Clan cats to slowly shake the Clan's faith in their spirits and their own beliefs.

Looks: A half black, half smokey gray she-cat split down so the left half of her body is black and the right half is gray. She has a crimson eye on the gray half and a golden yellow eye on the black half.
Personality: She's very watchful and cautious of others. She tends to avoid direct contact with another cat unless necessary as this is how she is able to see their future or past.
Past: She was born to Ashdawn who died a few moons after Twinriver's birth alongside her father. Twinriver was taken in by Sunclaw who raised her and Caveflower like her own kits.
Twinriver knew she was set to be the Shaman when she confided in the previous one that she was able to tell each cats individual past and once she became his apprentice she knew this was her destined path.

At every turn he was trying to one up his siblings, as well as his cousins and when his mother passed away Blazeheart swore to do everything he could to make her proud. Even if that meant plotting to kick his siblings out of the Clan.

Past: Mother died giving birth to him. His father, Darkclaw, always blamed him. About a moon ago Darkclaw started a fight with Bonepaw and Bonepaw killed him. As far as Bonepaw knows, no cat saw. Clan thinks his father went missing, it was not hard to believe because Darkclaw was so depressed.

Personality: He is almost always happy. With a fierce, brave personality. He is strong and is willing to help anyone through anything. When he is injured, though, he changes. He is weaker towards big injuries. Shinepool makes him nervous whenever he sees her.

Past: Foxtail was born outside the clan. When he was 15 moons old he lost his parents during an attack. Then he came into the clan, dedicating himself to making everyone trust him. Then when he met Shinepool, he fell for her greatly.

Looks: A small, light gray she-cat with sullen green eyes. On her right arm is a scar.
Personality: With strong loyalty towards Frostclan despite having unknown origins, she tries to help the best she can around (although she is a bit clumsy and messes up). She is a bit shy (from the fear of others doubting her) and tends to stray away others. She looks up to everyone in the clan and doesn't like to judge the others because she feels she doesn't have room to judge since she is not clan born. Seriously though, this cat has some confidence issues.

Past: Mothpaw was found when she was a kit by other warriors while they were on patrol. Not smelling of any other clans and probably from loner cats, the others decided to take her in. When found however, her right arm had been scratched (probably by other animals trying to get to her) and was bleeding. This causes her to have a slight disability when trying to keep up while running.

Past: Jamie saw her family separated as a young kit.
