I have resumed the search that is my existence on Eggcave, i am looking for an Effa. I absolutely love giraffes to bits and have been searching since i first joined. Since I have limited ways of trading, like trading for CC, I'm willing to trade items of the rarities Virtually Unobtainable, Ultra Rare, or Very Rare and I will trade at least ten items at once.

Also, I do a bit of trading according to rarity so since this beautiful only-giraffe creature is 397 rarity, I'll also trade 397,000 EC along with the items. And i might, just might, trade one or two of my Warrior Names.

I am currently working on obtaining at least five or ten 2017 critters to trade as well and i will be putting them in travels (likely Virtually Unobtainable, Ultra Rare, or Very Rare).

If anyone is gracious enough to trade an Effa just message on my wall or PM me.

Thank you for the time you took to read this. ^.^

Rarity =/= price. Not a lot of people are interested in trading items for creatures, either. :/

Yeah Effas are very expensive and worth a lot more than 300k plus ec. And many people who have them aren't interested in items for creatures 😱

Ask @Lunar she collects Effas and has had to sacrafice a lot for them.

They are just hard to come by, and who ever has them usually only has one.
So they will ask for a lot.
Just be prepared for the journey, its not impossible though.

Going off of what you wrote and what others are telling you, the best way to increase your chances of obtaining an effa is to feed coves daily and save up enough EC to trade to someone for CC in the item trade center.

Exchange rates are normally 1,000,000 EC : 100 CC. So set a daily goal for yourself based on how much time you have or quickly you can feed on your device, but work out how much you'd need to get at least 10mil EC.

Your account says you joined back in 2014, but haven't seen you around much? Try to be really active. Save up that EC, convert it for CC, buy those CSPs and work your way up until you obtain rarer creatures. Or even better, find someone who was on hiatus and is willing to trade their older pet for newer ones. Less likely but still possible someone will trade one for pure CC, but competition for getting trades like those are fierce and sometimes drives values up way more than something should be "worth" 😊

Just thought I'd offer some advice. Sorry xP

And how exactly do you "convert" EC to CC? No player has been exactly helpful about stuff like that. Theyre extremely rude mostly.

@raregem1996
Ya 'convert' EC to CC by trading other players for their CC if they are seeking EC.

There is no place you can actually convert it on the site except trading.

Also if ya want someone ta know ya responded ya need to ping em. Otherwise they wouldn't know ya responded unless they randomly checked again.

But yeah, Effas have been retired for quite awhile and hardish to find. Plus they were a CC critter that cost 5ooCC originally which in EC is 5,ooo,oooEC because CC cost someone real money at some point and people can get EC from just feeding. Things rise in value once retired. Popularity and how hard they are to find also play a role in how much they go for. Hope that helped a little too. Since not many on here really explained why it is worth more than around 3oo,oooEC.

Also getting cave monthlies and evolving/immortalizing then selling em for EC after they've risen in value by a little is also a good way to collect more EC. Participating in events and trading event critters/items for EC / CC depending if it is seasonal [EC, prob won't be able to get CC for] or will retire [can possibly get CC] also helps.
And then what element said.

@immortalraven

Thats what ive been trying to do, get the critters and stock up on them so when they retire i can sell them, thats why i got three or four Eirephants, but the cove isnt exactly kind somedays. i can try 300 times and not get a single monthly, thats what happened when the elementals came out. didnt find a single one. And hardish is an understatement. If you can find one, people are too selfish to give it up. There was a player who had 15-20 of them, including an egg that didnt have items or a travel or anything and they werent even willing to give up that one when i inquired just to see.

I really do hope you can find one eventually, but calling people selfish bc they don't want to trade with you is really uncool.
Lots of people collect a certain kind of creature, and they put a lot of time, effort and money into building their collection. Not wanting to part with something, even if they have more than one, isn't even remotely selfish.

Yeah, ping next time so I'll know you responded 😊

There are plenty of users who are seeking EC for their CC, look:
http://eggcave.com/itemtrades/search/item/voucher/1/0

Some even put the exact amount they want. You can wait for retired cave creatures to gain value but those take much longer to make a decent profit from than feeding for EC and trading/converting it for CC to buy a creature from the CSP, so would advise not only doing that.

CSP creatures normally gain value by 50-100cc each month after retirement. Popular ones like cats, dogs, foxes, dragons even more so. A nice example is the fourbon. It retired in Dec 2015 after being sold in the CSP for 200cc but is already worth 1.5-2k CC due to it's popularity, while the other 200cc ones (kektron/kepatio/psyfera) have only inflated to around 500-700cc.
