Notifications on pings, Alkub races and Sandrodon wall are meant to be clickable, but only take me to the top of the page and that awkward, non-informative "#" JS placeholder script. (browser - Firefox)Not to mention the fact that I'm a big middle-click fan and the new design supports it even worse than before ☹️

@snowwall The notifications work for me, it may be a FIrefox problem. Can you try clearing the cache and seeing if that solves it?What do you mean by middle-click? I have not come across this term before.

@mastergemma Middle-click opens links in new tabs.Same way you can't right click on the notifications and open them in a new tab on the notifications page.

@mastergemmaAh, it's even funnier! The links seems to work when they pertain to v3, it's the "Older" notifications that are glitching. Will need a few more days to figure out whether it's a cross-version problem (which, I guess is one of those "who needs old archives?") things or the "Older" page in particular.Middle-clicking? Well, a mouse has 3 buttons. Left, right and middle. The middle button on a modern mouse is the wheel, which can be both clicked and scrolled. The middle button on some laptops is clicking both buttons at once, scrolling being done with the touchpad. With the advent of touchscreens, the scrolling is done by hand and the middle-clicking seems to get left by the wayside... The general convention is "Left-click opens here, middle-click opens a new tab", although JS doesn't seem to do that out of the box and some people (Google, I'm looking at you!) override things so that left-click opens a new window/tab. Oh, and Linux also uses middle-click for pasting last-selected text, which also breaks in some places, although, happily, not here.

@o_o @snowwall Thanks for the explanation! I'm going to investigate this because I always open things in different tabs! If it's just the old notifications there probably isn't much we can do. They will eventually disappear as you only get the most recent 150. If the problem occurs with new notifications, please report it!

@snowwall @mastergemma hi there! Sorry. Yep. You're right. Older imported v2 notifications are not correctly clickable, as the way we do notifications changed in version 3.Rest assured, your new, incoming notifications should be working 100%. Thanks again. Enjoy and have fun.
