So I was gonna evolve some critters that take views for a friend. They went through the process of getting them and copying them [the html] and went to PM me them. She pasted them on and when she pressed send the message just comes up blank. Message goes through there's just nothing there.

I tried too and didn't work for me. Also tried putting a space between letters.
Is this a bug or something?
Or is it we just can't post them on here anymore? >.<

@immortalraven what code were you attempting to post? What HTML did you post? Can you copy/paste it here, please? Thanks.

@Ian
It's easycode for critters. I select critter and go through the process. Select the linked html.

Now I am gonna try and post it here:

Edit: It doesn't show up. It's just a blank. But I just found out that in the edit section that it shows it's here. But I can't get other people's because it doesn't show up like it used to when they PM'd / posted them.

@immortalraven HTML and images have never been allowed to be posted on Egg Cave itself. That code is for other web sites. The only codes that work at eggcave.com directly is eCodes: http://eggcave.com/forums/ecode

I hope that this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. ❤️

I'm confused. It used to on version 2 so how has it never been allowed? o-o I use to have people always give me them so I could immortalize their critters. Sorry I'm just confused about it cause it used to or were they not supposed on version 2 is what you mean?

@immortalraven hmmm... yeah. HTML code that looks like this? It should have never have been allowed to render on Egg Cave, even in version 2:

Nope. You'll need to use eCodes with click links to click and feed creatures (no images). Here's the sample to use (change rounded brackets ( to square [ and ])

(url=http://eggcave.com/click/1)Click egg #1!(/url)

@Ian
Yup that is what I meant.

I don't think I will be using those cause I don't really see how they will help to what I am trying to do but may be I just don't understand. Sometimes I hate computer/technology things.
I will just have people give link me to the critter and get critters' IDs to input into the HTML to replace the already existing critters in my blog thingy to gain views. Takes longer but at least I get it.

Thanks for the explanation now though 😊

@immortalraven no problem. Sounds good. Be sure to give users /click/ link URLs to get stats for creatures.
