Here is the roleplay thread. Nothing too special as it is just a regular spaceage roleplay.

~~

Marai flew from star to star. She wanted to see if any planet nearby had any Grox activity, most specifically, the de-terraforming of a habitable planet for the Grox to colonize.
Eventually, her radar ticked, the signal heading towards a nearby star. Once she got there, she could see that she had landed near a planet which is slowly losing its color, and its life as well.
Gasping, Marai beamed herself down on the planet, and landed nearby a village.
"What seems to be the problem here?" Marai asked calmly, not trying to sound intimidating or scary at all. "Do you need any help?"

A child then appeared, whimpering as they responded to Marai. "T-The Grox h-have inv-vaded our pl-pl-planet..." Their voice was shaking, and tears were falling from their eyes. "I-If w-we don't f-follow t-their orders, t-t-then we'd be k-killed...!"
"Well," Marai responded, "I'm not letting those Grox destroy your home. It's not right at all!" She headed to the outskirts of the village, smiling at them one last time. "I'll make sure you'll live to see your future."
~~~
Haru explored the surface of the Earth. He had a liking for his home, and it was the only home he knew until the invention of advanced space travel. His friends and family would embrace him as he returned back to Earth, but that was all finished.
He had to go back into space, but he knew that he'll return. Haru beamed up to his ship, and headed towards the captain's chair, getting ready to explore the nearby stars.
Whistling a tune as he examined mechanical parts, Paxon browsed the store's goods in search of the missing items he needed. The man turned into another aisle and to his delight, he found just what he needed. As he reached for the mechanical part, a strange feeling washed over him, causing his smile to slightly fade. Paxon retracted his hand and took a step forward, a confused look on his face. Reaching for it again, the feeling came again, making him sleepy and sluggish, but instead of retracting his hand again, he grabbed the part.
Underneath was the answer. Sort of. It was a black rock that he had seen before, but didn't know the name of. Paxon stared at it for a moment before blinking and walking out of the aisle. The man approached the check out counter, if you could call it that since is was really just a bunch of crates stacked on top of each other. The species behind the counter had scaly skin, one eye, and looked very bored. Paxon gave them the part and dug into his pocket for the money.
"Pardon? I was wondering if you knew what kind of rock that is? No worries if not," he asked, pointing to the black rock that was barely visible from their position. They leaned a bit, trying to get a better view before leaning back and shrugging. They handed him the part and sat down in a fleshy looking chair with a sigh. Paxon gratefully took the part and said, "Thanks anyway. And thank you for the part!" They gave a curt nod and the man headed out.
Drace patted his old tomato plant. There were three tomatoes on it, which he named Bob, Bob 2.0 and Bobby. It's always been like this, Wake up, take a shower, remember your death and thinking about how you could've died a cooler way other than getting shot, pat your tomato plant and being lazy. Every single day.
He sighed and grabbed a book to keep him company. His small little house was always empty (apart from some furniture, books and electronics. Don't forget Drace, too) from the beginning. Ever since the person he was supposed to guard died, he began to get lonely, the worse feeling you can possibly get.
"Knight to E-4"
The computer pinged, registering her move. It's countermove was predictable, at least to Ona. She sighed. She needed to get some new tech, something that preferably didn't break down every two days. Maybe even something it took over five moves to checkmate. Ona shivered. There were no good computers in the small arctic village, but it was at least relatively safe from the Grox. Why would they want to come to small frozen planet on the fringes of the galaxy? She laughed to herself. Why would anybody want to come to this planet? Only those who needed to hide. She decided to find out when the next shipment of supplies would come in. She was due for some much-needed action.
***
Captain Drayden stepped off his ship, sniffing the smell of the boicha flowers on the breeze. It was springtime and the city of Tren was beautiful. He sighed. As if Eri Matthias would ever visit an ugly city. Sometimes the captain thought that Eri, strong leader that he was, was in need of a severe reality check.
"Ok men." He turned around and looked over the small group behind him. "Your job is to clear the area of any hostiles and would-be assasins. Try to create as little disturbance as you can, but leave no stone unturned. Find all the best vantage spots around the parade site. Do you understand?"
"Permission to ask a question, Captain." One of the soldiers looked him in the eye.
"Permission granted."
"Where are you going?"
"I have special orders. Now go!" Drayden turned towards the city, tugging at his tight collar. He unbuckled his weapons belt and took out the pistol. He slid it into the hidden holster under his coat. Just in case.
(If you need a reference on the de-terraformer, think of the towers from Code Lyoko in their old design.
Marai sighed. The Grox is causing the planet to be unsuitable for any life at all but them. Some Grox colonized on the most coldest of planets, the most hottest of planets, even planets with a dense or no atmosphere. Wherever the Grox had colonized, it would be the uninhabitable ones in the Milky Way. So far Grox influence remains in the Milky Way and only the Milky Way.
Marai was made for all of those planet types. She was a Grox soldier. When she got close to the de-terraformer, she could see some guards blocking the way, making sure nobody touched the controls that made the entire thing shut down. The light emitting from the de-terraformer was glowing an ice blue.
"Freezing up the temperature so that it's unsafe for the average lifeform to survive," Marai whispered to herself. "Once that happens, the Grox'll take this planet for themselves..."
She snuck around the guards. She didn't want to hurt any of them, but she needed if she wanted to deactivate the towering mechanism.
~~~
Eventually, Haru could find some unusual activity nearing his ship. His entire ship soon stopped moving, and in front, he could see a giant Grox ship.
"No..." He whimpered. His entire crew, which were all bake-danuki in their raccoon form, were all panicking, scrambling around the ship.
Soon, the ship was slowly pulled nearby the Grox ship through a tractor beam, until the ship was right underneath it.
The Grox ship then warped sped to a nearby Grox colony, and landed on the surface. Haru couldn't survive in there at all. It had no oxygen, and not to mention it was a dangerously hot planet, lava replacing water.
With no choice, Haru attempted to shapeshift into a Grox, but one of them had invaded his ship.
"Come with us, tanuki." The Grox demanded.

Paxon fidgeted with the part as he made his way back to his craft. It wasn't anything impressive. In fact, it was rather small and pathetic. Much like flying with his wings, Paxon wasn't a good pilot either. However, he still found comfort in it and it was perfect for someone who just wanted to hop from planet to planet and explore. Especially with the Grox, he just wanted to escape from it all, stay oblivious to it.

He hadn't even realized he had arrived back to the small craft until he literally walked into it. Rubbing his head, Paxon opened the door and stepped inside. He sat down in the only chair and opened up a panel. With a screwdriver in hand, the man carefully undid the section and took out a cracked part and replaced it with the new piece. Once he put everything back together, the craft came to life. Paxon's wings ruffled at the sight and a smile appeared on his face. After setting coordinates to a planet that hopefully no Grox were on yet, he stood up and made his way to his bed. He laid down and couldn't help but think of that weird black rock. Now that he though about it, he probably should have bought it so he could examine it. It wasn't long before his eyes closed and a deep slumber over took him.

"Vedas I am going to the planet and I know there is Grox there." Ivara explained to her ship A.I who was self aware. She looked at the foundry where the last part of her suit/armour was being made her helmet. Made to be similar to a nearly featureless copy of her face with patterns on it.
"Ivara I'm being serious you can't be running around and doing what you do. Your not... I worry about you and it's hard to not be worried even if you're heavily shielded." Vendas replied.
Ivara simply shrugged and replied "All the original heroes of Lua are dead I'm simply carrying out their work. But now I'm getting revenge for Lua."
Vendas soon suggested being desperate for Ivaras safety. "Why not wait until the helmet is done it will only be a few days. Sometimes Ivara your really idiotic."
"Yet I'm still alive in one piece." She smiled in a bit of a cocky way. Vendas just sighed.

(I apologize for not being able to respond sooner but school has been really demanding these past few days.)

Pyralite sprawled on the floor of their ship. They had set it to an autopilot for the closest inhabited planet. And they hoped to find somewhere to restock on supplies. When they had left home they only had so much supplies. Which in turn had run out fairly fast in the grand scheme of things.

Pyralite had fled home for fear of a Grox invasion and shortly after they left, less than a day asay, had received word that their home was overtaken. Of course the Drakonian were more or less a more peaceful race as time went on so it wasn't a shock. But still Pyralite was glad to have gotten grew beforehand.

Remai glared at Haru. "I don't care if you can't breathe or not, as long as you follow us, everything will go smoothly." They handed Haru a device that allowed him to adjust and adapt to the environment, which is to say, make sure that Haru didn't die.
"Follow me." They demanded in a deadpan manner. "I'm sure you'll be useful."

Haru had followed Remai, and saw some grumpy guards holding very advanced weapons. None of the guards resembled the Grox in any way, apart from the cybernetic implants.
"I suppose you don't know what is going on. I can read your subconsciousness, you know." Remai said to Haru. "I'll use your hidden thoughts as weaponry against you." They acted fearful and intimidating, not to mention how their voice was deadpan and glitchy.

"At least tell me where we are," Haru sighed. Eventually, he and Remai had approached a door. "I'm not comfortable with somebody capturing me unless they have something they want me to do." Remai had opened the door with their cybernetic hand, and continued.

Eventually, the two had found themselves in a lab of some sorts, with some creatures inside some machines with a weird liquid inside. Some creatures don't even look like they're even organic.
"Don't mind those experiments." Remai explained. "That is none of your concern. This is your concern." Remai opened up a control panel, which displayed a list of every single creature the Grox had created for their purpose. "Somebody like you who doesn't care about anyone will now be used for our tasks. From now on, you shall serve us, the Grox, and nobody else."

Haru was a bit confused, but he slid with it. "That's fine, it's not like I even help anybody. What do you need?"

"I want you to capture a defective rebel of ours..." A picture of a female creature showed up. "D87-1928. We have noticed how this rebel is currently in a planet about to be colonized by us. Capture her, and bring her to us. A shapeshifter like you is suitable for this task. Failure in completing this task will result in-" Remai's voice became too glitchy and distorted for Haru to understand. "You may now go."
~~~
Marai found herself nearby a control panel. Just by looking at it, she could see that it's the device to deactivate the entire thing.
Scrambling to get herself together, Marai quickly pressed a few buttons and code, trying to hack the entire thing to force it to disable the tower.
@slyriolu @karma @nightmaremoon I've subscribed. She's is going to be in her star form, which is a ball of light, like all stars.
Aurora looked around her. Everything looked so different, espcially when your young. Way younger than other stars. She shifted, slowly ascending into a random planet. There wasn't much to do everyday, just making sure your star doesn't collide with others. Snapping from her thoughts, she looked at the planet around her. Barren and lifeless. Well she'll have to ander aound until she can get back to her star form. She plopped herself down on a rock and started to practice assuming her star form. She broke her concentration again. Nothing seemed to work for her. She will find a way sooner or later, just not the fastest.
Bored as usual, Drace looked up at the dark galaxy sky. This thought brought up memories, of how his brother went on mission to mission trying to conquer planets throughout.His brother succeeded many times, of course, since he was a talented young man. But now, his whole family is in smithereens or ashes after the terrorist attack. Drace at that time tried to escape, yet was shot by a police officer on duty, thinking Drace was a terrorist.
Ona shoved her clothes into a cargo box. "Tomorrow I'll be out of here," she whispered to herself, trying to give herself courage. Out there was the world of the free, who lived on lush planets or spent their lives exploring the stars.
Out there was the world that the Grox actually paid attention to. She shook her head to clear herself of any lingering doubts, she was done hiding.
She had made a deal with the pilot of the supply ship to get to Tren, but after that was up to her. As she boarded the ship, she noticed a piece of paper folded and stuck on the wall. She took it down and opened it. A face looked up at her, it was a Incrimination Flyer. There was no name beneath the picture, just the number D87-1928.
The pilot looked over his shoulder. "Oh, that. Everyone with a ship has one of those. Don't know who's been passing them out."
Ona looked up. "If you met this... defector, would you turn her in?"
"No one ordinary's gonna find her if the stories I hear about her are true, these are just a Grox precaution."
"But if you had the chance?"
"I dunno. It's a lot of credits offered as a reward. Now sit down, I have a schedule, and we need to take off."
Ona sat down, shoving the flyer into her pocket.
Marai had to hurry. Once she was captured by the Grox, she would be executed right off the bat. It was shocking how a bounty was placed on her by the most strongest and most hated species in the entire Milky Way galaxy. It's like the Grox was desperate to capture her because she's the only known alive rebel. Most of the rebels were instantly killed once they found out. Marai had to replace her original name, D87-1928, to Marai Lasamo, in order to be hidden. She barely used her original name anymore.
Once she has finished hacking the entire thing, the guards were beamed back up into the Grox ships, and she felt safe.
That is, until she heard gunfire from the side. Marai swiftly dodged it, and saw a man with the ears and tail of a tanuki.
"What do you want?!" She demanded, ready to attack with her rifle.
"Your head," Haru responded. "I don't care about those Grox, no, I just want that money." There was a menacing smirk on his face. "Even if you decide to hide your past, you'll never hide your appearance!" Multiple green orbs circled behind Haru, before they started to rapidly fire glowing green magic orbs towards Marai.
Marai yelped in response, and moved back behind a rock to get protection from the attacks. I need to run right now, she thought, but Haru isn't going to stop until she was captured.
Reloading her assault rifle, Marai revealed herself and shot multiple bullets towards the green orbs and Haru.
Paxon began to dream. Well, it wasn't exactly a dream, but it wasn't a nightmare either. Somewhere in between. He was on a planet that the Grox had recently took over. The man wasn't sure how he was able to survive on it, but he guessed that was how dreams worked. Paxon walked around for a little until he saw his ship. Surprisingly it was intact and he went inside. As soon as he left the planet, it returned to normal. Of course, it wasn't long before the Grox returned. But by that time, Paxon was already landing on a new planet. Needless to say, he had no idea what was going on.
(Even in roleplays, Haru is still unable to avoid rocks and rubbles being thrown at him.)
The orbs behind Haru shattered, and the energy bullets caused Haru to be stung by it multiple times.
Wincing, he quickly floated towards Marai, about to stab her right in the chest.
Marai moved out of the rock she was behind in and went behind Haru, releasing sparks of electricity from her cybernetic arm to create a whip made it out electricity. She grabbed the rock she was hiding in with her whip, and threw it at Haru.
Haru was knocked down by the rock, and was thrown towards the tower through the shockwave. Even after all that, he was still smiling.
"Now I know why they're hunting you down," Haru grinned. "You're a high class Grox soldier, who is strong enough to defeat an entire army by themselves..."
"Of course I am! Those Grox are strict. They take down giant colonies, invade developing life, start wars, destroy planets, and never gave a reason why!" Marai responded. "That's why I'm fighting against them."
Haru had ignored everything that Marai had said. "And you're too unstable without a leader. Without somebody as a superior, you're just going to destroy everything in your way. You're just like the Grox."
Marai was a bit ticked off at what Haru had said. "Were you even listening?! I'm fighting for the freedom of every single species who has been oppressed by the Grox. I'm fighting for the freedom of every single soldier who has been taking countless of orders by the Grox, and come out mortified by what they had seen." She pulled out her rifle, before it charged a glowing energy shot.
"I'm fighting for the freedom of everything the Grox had attacked."
Still bored, Drace decided to join a random dream. Yeah, he can chose somebody;s dream to disturb that's in a 50 mile radius or so, but why not join a random one? He flopped onto the couch and fell asleep.
He opened his eyes to see someone in front of him. Looks like the person is an Avian of some sort. "HELLO THERE FEL- oh, sorry to scream. Ahem, let me try that again. Hello there fellow creature! Seems like I arrived in your dream." He said, snickering. It was always fun to disrupt dreams.
Paxon jumped at the sight of the new person. Was this part of his dream? It was by far the weirdest one he's had in a while if that was the case. Either way, he smiled and waved. "Hi! My name is Pax- um, why do you have blood on you?" He wasn't sure how he missed it before. In fact, it was quite obvious. Why would he dream about someone like that? Plus the person seemed to know he was dreaming. This was getting very meta.
@karma Drace seemed like he needed a dream to interrupt.
"Really? Woah! Did it hurt? How are you alive? Are you even alive?" So many questions filled Paxon's simple head. He circled the stranger and examined him in complete amazement like he was the most interesting think the avian had ever seen. As he did so, Paxon continued to ask questions. "What's your name? Are you the same age as you were when you died? What's it like to die? What's it like to be dead. Do you still have the wound? Are you a ghost?" That last question gave him an idea. "Can I phase through you?" Paxon asked as he tried to put his hand through the newcomer's chest.
He was a little disappointed when his hand didn't go through the pers- guardian spirit's chest. Instead his hand just sat there on his chest awkwardly for a moment while Paxon processed this new information as if his hand would all of a sudden phase through anyway. Finally, he put his hands on his hips and shook his head. "Probably not an angel. I don't think they have blood on them." He walked behind the guardian spirit and looked at his back. "Besides, I'm pretty sure angels have wings." Paxon also realized that the newcomer was shorter. A smol bean really. "What is your name?"
Remai walked past an aisle of Grox soldiers. They had this menacing glare on their face, and the soldiers had a nervous yet calming look on their face. All of them had recently been beamed up from a planet due to the de-terraformer being deactivated.
"Well," Remai began, "why aren't you going back down there and repairing that de-terraforming device!" They roared. "I still wonder why we create mindless soldiers like you..." They murmured.
"You see..." A soldier said. "The deactivator was that rebel that you've been looking for."
"And you decide not to attack them?" Remai responded. "I had enough of your foolishness. Take this soldier away!" A drone grabbed the soldier out of the room.
"That defective rebel is not going to get away with destroying everything. Give me our best soldiers out there." Remai demanded. "If those soldiers don't bring us D87-1928, then we'll just destroy the planet with her standing. I employed some useless bounty hunter, but it doesn't seem that he is doing his job. It would be wise to dispose of all the weak in this galaxy."
"Paxon!" He said with a smile, extending his hand. "Dream travel, huh? Oh, yeah! I forgot that I'm dreaming. Hmm, oh well. Anyway, as someone who can't dream travel, it's nice to have a pair of wings." Paxon's own pair of wings ruffled behind him. "So, what do guardian spirits do?" he asked as he opened the craft's door and began to walk out.
Ivara decended to to planet or well warped. "Now this is my kind of weather." She said since it was cold she could now fight for a longer duration. The cutlass and dagger were holstered on her hips and the crossbow or Cross PWSTSAPCA (Cross Projectile Weapon System That Shoots Aerodynamic Projectiles Called Arrows.) on her back.
She had a feeling some huge fight would go on and she wanted to be in it. She wanted to test out "Zyphers" suit capabilities even more. She strode on the cold landscape to look for someone to interact with.
Ona shrugged her pack higher onto her shoulders. Tren was the city left alone by the Grox, for whatever reason. Well, alone was a bit of an exaggeration. Some marched the streets openly, widely shunned by the people around. They were some twisted version of the Grox, experimented on until they could survive, if only for a short time, on a non-terraformed planet. It certainly wasn't perfect. The soldiers look nauseous as they staggered along, hardly a dangerous fighting force. But she wasn't here to fight, she thought to herself, I need to keep out of sight. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her. If the Grox-things were so weak, why are they even here? Shouldn't they be watching in their spacecraft as the city was destroyed in the terraforming? Ona furrowed her brow in confusion. What use could they have for this planet?
By the way, I am dropping Captain Drayden until further notice. Couldn't think of anything to do with him, and I prefer having only one character anyway. (If anyone else wants him, he's yours for the taking)
Marai soon beamed up to her ship once she had seen that the coast was clear. She didn't want to fight anymore, and knowing Haru, he must be hiding.
Her entire ship had no oxygen at all, and any oxygen that entered would immediately escape. Because soldiers like her were perfectly created by the Grox and not badly rushed like a few captured ones, she could survive anything the Grox could survive in, including the lack of oxygen.
When she saw the opposing Grox ship in space, Marai knew that some Grox is up to something.
~
Remai grinned, seeing Marai's Grox ship. When they pressed a button, causing a laser to shoot out to her ship.
"Let's hope that rebel dies in space."
~
She immediately warped sped away from the solar system she was in, before a malfunction occured in the middle of her trip from the attack, causing her ship to crash nearby the city of Tren and forcing her out of the ship.
"Darn it," Marai said. "Let's hope this planet, wherever this is, has something useful for me..." She looked at all of her cybernetic implants. "I hope nobody gets disturbed by my implants..."
~~~
Haru noticed that Marai was gone. Eventually, out of nowhere, he was suddenly beamed up to a Grox ship. When he saw the Grox, he knew it was Remai.
"What were you doing?!" Remai demanded.

"I was fighting your rebel. You never told me this rebel was strong." Haru casually responded.

"That doesn't matter. Your mission was to bring us that rebel, and not frolic around dead bushes!" Remai yelled out. "You are..." They sighed, before continuing. "Dismissed for now." They were getting tired of Haru's foolishness.

"Yes." Haru said, before he beamed himself towards his ship, sighing as to what Remai had said to him. He was instructed by a Grox to capture the rebel, but he was failing so badly. He wondered what would happen if he failed again.

When Paxon opened the door, he had to remind himself that it was only a dream. Of course, out of all the places his craft could have landed, it was on a cliff. Looking down, he began to feel nauseous and took a step back.

"Well this quickly became a nightmare," the avian quietly said, more to himself than to Drace. His wings tucked in even more and he took a couple more steps back.

Drace just shrugged. "This is a dream, after all." he whispered, stepping close to the cliff. 'Can't you do anything you want in dreams and wake up alive and in the same place feeling kinda the same?" he asked. The guardian spirit took a small step forward and jumped off the cliff.
