Help! Is an archaeopteryx a bird?

Whenever there's a new theme on Egg Cave for the month, I like to decorate my side @paradox with a featured list containing all the creatures that fit the monthly theme.

But is an archaeopteryx a bird? I don't know if my Terapox belongs on the list! The Archives says it's the link between birds and dinosaurs yet also calls it a dinosaur.

Its both a bird and a dinosaur.
