I'm not new, but I haven't been online in years. I joined eggcave soooo long ago (my original account, which is now my side, is @candy_girl_1298), and since it was one of the first online games i started playing i decided to pop back on and see what's going on. I'm guessing most of my old friends have long gone 😋

I'm not sure if things have changed or mostly stayed the same, so I have a few questions:

What are items (like foods and books) used for? Are side accounts still allowed? Is offsite trading allowed? Are "Sunset of a Heart" travels still buyable, or retired?

Welcome back!

The basis of the website has stayed the same; collect and trade eggs or talk on the forums. The look just changed not too long ago and it's known as Version 3.

A new thing is the Thief Shop where you can try and buy some hard to find creatures and the Oasis which gives you a chance to get endangered creatures.

Food can increase happiness and occasionally increase the feed stats. I believe books only increase happiness (I don't use books so I'm not quite sure).

Side accounts are still allowed, the limit is three sides.

Offsite trading is not allowed at all.

Sunset of a heart is still available to buy at the Travel Agency.

thank you so much for answering all my questions! So good to know about sunset of a heart travels since i want my whole cove to have them. And thanks for specifying about off site trading, i would hate to break any rules 😊

@yam - Welcome back, and welcome to V3! it's always great to see older users returning. There have been quite a few changes, but it has mostly stayed the same.
