[October] Creature Suggestion - Puffcornia?

This is my first attempt of creating any creatures from scratch so hopefully all goes well (not claiming to be an artist). I have started with a small description, I've never been much of a story teller. Name isn't set, but put Puff (puffer fish) and Corn (candy corn) together.

Egg Description:
Puffcornia eggs are often harvested for their sugary taste. Their parents have to keep watch over them until they hatch.

Creature Description:
In child form, these creatures have a hard body which makes them extremely slow. As as teen then soften up and can swim slightly faster. Their movement is still a bit awkward, and they tend to drift from side to side. If they manage to grow to adulthood, they become easily stressed out and grow 5x their size to intimidate others. Also they start to grow candy spikes on their body to help ward off predators.

@novrain62 I like candy corn as well, and used to have some puffer fish when I still had an aquarium. One of the stranger fish on way they move. The last 2 based off of candy corn were creepy/messed up looking monsters. I'd like to see cute ones.

@kingcarrotstorage oh thanks 😊 I figured the first one looks more like the theif shop eggs, but figured I'd throw it in the mix.

@rashka that is funny. I miss my aquarium sometimes, but I ended up with a 55 gallon one was quite difficult when moving around.

I like the left hand egg design better because it looks more like a fish egg. This is a really funny idea, my sister asked why I was laughing, but it made sense to her when she looked at my computer screen XD

@wavypavy Oh thanks ^-^ Now I can just picture anytime my family members have given me the "are you crazy" look with my laughing at things online. I thought the egg look more realistic, but 99% that have that look are Theif Shop eggs, so that's why I went with a 2nd one as well.
