Things have gotten so strange recently in space. There have been signs of unusual auras around the void of space, yet nothing showed up.
Eventually, out of nowhere, a bloodcurdling voice echoed throughout the cosmos. It was a bad omen of things to come.

Six relics, right?

Let's continue searching for them.
If someone finds them, we'll ask them to join forces with us.

The year is 4197. This was an unusual radio message that had appeared a few days ago. There are six relics, and four are currently in nobody's grasps.
There have been recent news about an outpost being destroyed, and a planet that has been taken over, and all in the same day, with an eyewitness seeing the horrors of a black hole. There's no time - you need to stop this.

Rules:
Please follow the EggCave rules!
Nothing obscene.
Please no overpowered stuff (immortality is allowed but keep it sparse)
I'd appreciate it if you didn't go on a murder rampage.
No mary/gary sues.
Please let others catch up on the roleplay.
You can't have the relics immediately. The exception is the first two relics, which belongs to me because of plot reasons.

Name: Kite
Age: Around 19
Gender: Non-Binary
Species: Appears to be human
Appearance: Kite is around 5"09 in height. They have sickly pale skin and short snow hair. Their eyes are ice blue in color.
Clothing: Wears blue earmuffs, a white shirt, sky blue jacket, and a darker shade of sky blue scarf with thick teal pants and brown boots.
Weapons: Kite wields a greatsword which they are proficient in, despite their weak stature. Has the Optic Fire Staff in their arsenal.
Abilities: Manipulation of ice, cold, temperature, etc. Hair can glow for a short period of time.
Weaknesses: Kite is incredibly weakened in the heat, and after glowing hair ends, it can't be used for half an hour. They are also prone to sacrificing themselves in order to let their friends live.
Personality: Kite is very laid-back and innocent. They put friends above themselves and is willing to take risks in order to keep them safe. Kite often times have doubts about themselves, and it can often distract them.
Other: They have a journal to record things they see along the way.
They lived on Polaris alongside Andros before it got taken over by the creatures.

Name: Claire Azumo
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Species: Human cyborg
Appearance: Claire is around 5"11 in height, with long purple hair that is moved to the right and half shaved on the left side. Her skin is slightly dark in color, and she has dark lavender eyes. Wears black fingerless gloves.
Clothing: Wears a sleeveless purple top and skirt with red fringes and darker purple boots.
Weapons: Claire is not shown to have any weapon, save for her fists and cybernetic implants.
Abilities: She has enchanced strength and vision, and is able to crack a wall by punching it. Claire has the manipulation of electricity.
Weaknesses: Claire has a minor weakness to water. She is still suspectible to hacking and human sicknesses.
Personality: Claire is mostly relaxed, but when it comes to fighting, she refuses to hold back. She thinks of various ways to solve problems and do daily things.
Other: Lives on Earth, but her spaceship is a seperate home.

Name: Andros Lamaera
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Species: Assumed human
Appearance: Around the same height as Kite. Medium off white (ice blue) hair and pale skin.
Clothing: She wears light armor: an elaborate looking chestpiece and flexible shorts, boots, and a giant cape with a living galaxy pattern on it. Has a strap with her sword's sheath on it.
Weapons: She wields a very sharp looking sword for close combat, and a pair of fans for long distance combat. Wields the Brambled Fans, but refuses to use them.
Her knowledge on nanites and mechs gave her Lumecha, and two joysticks that come with Lumecha and can be weaponized by shifting its form.
Abilities: She has pathiokinesis, allowing her to manipulate emotions and disperse them. Andros can also use her fans to fire out energy.
In her free time, she has an extensive knowledge of technology and engineering, and used that to create her own mech.
Weaknesses: She focuses more on logic and reasoning rather than true emotion, making her hard to get and often has people's own emotions be ignored. Andros is also very reliant on her fans, and taking them away can weaken her.
Personality: Andros relies more on logic than emotion because of her powers, but she is shown to be highly caring to her friends.
Other: She owns a nanite-built mech known as Lumecha (Luminant Machine)
Andros is a close friend of Kite, as well as being their classmate.

Name: Okibi Otori
Age: Refuses to tell, 8000-10000
Gender: Female
Species: Phoenix in the form of a human
Appearance: Firey red hair and red eyes, around 5"11 and has her phoenix wings behind her.
Clothing: will be posted.
Weapons: None, unless you count sharp feathers.
Abilities: Manipulation of fire. She is able to regenerate her form after taking a fatal wound. Okibi is also skilled in close combat and weaponless fighting.
Weaknesses: Okibi is terrible at regenerating, and it takes around an hour to a week in order to come back to life. If for some reason her ashes got scattered or contained in a tiny jar, she is unable to revive.
Personality: Okibi is very laid back, but a single mishap can cause her to light ablaze, both literally and figuratively. She is very emotional, having shifted from very sad to very angry. Okibi is very intelligent and wise due to her time spent being alive.

Name: Darrien
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Species: Trihybrid of Plul, Shek and Enhanced Human
Appearance: Darrien stands around six foot even, with messy short brown-blond hair. Darrien has bottle glass blue eyes and black stripe like markings across her skin. On her throat is a very savage looking birth mark.
Darrien is capable of growing a very large set of orange ripped gray wings from her back, giving her a wingspan of roughly 18 feet.
When using her energy powers her markings flare up silver.
Clothing: Darrien wears a baggy and low backed dark purple shirt and a brown leather jacket. She also wears black pants and brown boots. On her neck she wears a simple softly glowing gray crystal on a gold chain.
Weapons: Darrien uses her abilities primarily, but will fight with two swords if necessary.
Abilities: Darrien is capable of flight, mild teleportation, manipulating light and shadows, and can manifest the energy around her into weapons or shields.
Weaknesses: Darrien is very prone to losing control of her light and shadow powers, often causing massive backlashes to both her and those around her. She can only teleport to places she can see. Silver can completely negate all of her powers for as long as she is in contact with it.
Personality: Darrien is very calm and collected, she tends to be very rational and critically thinking. She tends not to let her emotions control her, as that tends to end up poor for everyone involved. She is very friendly though and is always protective of her friends.
Other: Darrien is mute and so she communicates directly to others via sign language. She mainly uses Roxanne or Derrick to translate for her when meeting those who can't understand sign language.

Name: Roxanne
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Appearance: Roxanne is roughly five six, with long and wavy blond hair. She has hazel eyes and a few scars on her arms.
Clothing: Roxanne wears a loose fitting pink shirt and crimson trench coat. She wears brown boots and black pants.
Weapons: Roxanne has swords and throwing knives.
Abilities: Roxanne doesn't have any abilities exactly, but she has hypersensitive hearing and can identify people's breathing, footsteps, and chewing from a distance.
Weaknesses: Roxanne is only human, she can only last to her own limits and can't continue once she reached them unless she rests.
Her hypersensitive hearing causes her to have a flight of fight response often causing her to be very anxious in large groups.
Personality: Roxanne is very bubbly and caring, she tends not to be the first to interact with others due to personal issues, although knowing her friends are at ease she does her best to do the same. She despises large groups because of all the sounds she can't block out.
Other: Roxanne has Misophonia, explaining her hearing issues.

(I'm gonna get Derrick and one other character in later. I just gotta double check a few aspects for them.)

Gender: F
Species: Human
Appearance: Wavy white hair in a messy bob cut. Green eyes and creamy skin. She is blind.
Clothing: Black choker. White shirt with jean-jacket and jeans with black flats.
Weapons: Always has a knife on her belt and a katana slung over her back. Knows most martial arts.
Abilities: Extremely good fighter
Weaknesses: She had a close connection with her brother who on the destroyed outpost. He died and she has nightmares about him which makes her susceptible to being defeated and distracted.
Personality: Agreeable, defiant, smart, happy, chipper, giggly, holding sadness inside of her, she sometimes cries at night.
Other: She and her brother shared the same mother so he's her half brother. She is fully human and he was half human.

Name: Alex
Age: 17
Gender: M
Species: A griffin concealed as a human
Appearance: Short, black hair and yellow eyes. Brown skin. Golden wings come out when needed or summoned.
Clothing: A bracelet with a golden feather charm. White shirt and green-brown shorts as well as a necklace with a black opal charm.
Weapons: He is mostly a healer but he does have two knives for battling.
Abilities: He can heal most wounds but deep or serious inside wounds, he cannot heal. He can also summon small spurts of fire.
Weaknesses: His fire can be uncontrollable which is why he doesn't use it very often and "deep or serious inside wounds, he cannot heal".
Personality: Smart, quiet, helpful, decisive

Appearance: A tan girl with brown hair. Has blue eyes. Tends to always have a pink tinge that makes it look like she's blushing. She isn't. She also has horns and pink and brown flower-like wings that can appear and disappear.
Clothing: A pink hoodie with holes in the back that her wings bop out through. The hood has holes for her horns. She also wears a brown skirt and pink sandals. Wears a necklace with a cherry blossom flower tied to it.
Weapons: Well, her horns and wings?
Abilities: Flight, nature magic (making flowers, ivy, etc...)
Weaknesses: She can feel the damage her creations take. Her powers won't work near intense heat or fire.
Personality: Cheerful, can get moody. She is quite stubborn and always says her mind. She likes the shade.
Other: Don't stand right behind her. You'll see why.

Weapons: Derrick uses a hammer or his powers.
Abilities: Derrick is capable of teleportation, light manipulation, flight, and the power to transfer wounds.
Weaknesses: Derrick can teleport only to places he can see, he can only manipulate what is available and he can only move wounds from one living creature to another, but can't heal the wound.
Personality: Derrick is very caring and helpful, he is kind and outgoing and relatively difficult to get unhappy. He is very upbeat and often is the first of his friends to interact with others.
Other: He tends to translate for Darrien.

Gender: Male
Species: Arachne
Appearance: Alios has messy and curly blond hair, and solid colored red eyes, each with four pupil, three encircling a larger main pupil in each eye. He has rough looking palms. Slips can also have three sets of large spider-like spindle legs and pincers.
Clothing: Alios wears a green shirt with holes torn in the back along side brown pants.
Weapons: Alios uses his spindle legs and pincers to fight, but in a pinch can use a scythe.
Abilities: Alios is capable of growing and retracting three sets of spider legs(six extra legs in total), as well as growing venom filled pincers. He has very good agility and can commune with most arachnids.
Weaknesses: Growing his extra limbs is very painful and often just as painful to retract. He can only speak to arachnids, not get them to do anything. And not even all arachnids either, just spiders and scorpions.
Personality: Alios is aloof and watchful, he prefers to observe situations before jumping in, and would much rather stay at a distance than go in to a fight.

Weapons: A bow and arrows. He collects different types of arrows and makes more. He has one poket-knife as well.
Abilities: He used to hunt in the woods with his grandfather so he knows many skills in the outdoors. (Ex. Hiding, running, dodging, etc?)
Weaknesses: He has a short temper so he acts irrationally and sometimes hurts people he cares for.

Other: He has anger management issues and went to juvie. He has a crush on Clarissa and therefore is harsher to her than others.

Abilities: She can temporarily blind people and burn them.
Weaknesses: She has frequent splitting headaches and if she gets too ahead of herself, she can fall unconscious. She can easily transform into her Manticore self but after transforming back, she is exhausted.
Personality: Guarded, happy, extroverted, team player, happy-go-lucky
Other: She has a hidden past and won't tell anyone about it.

Appearance: Rather skinny and long, is maybe 6 feet? They have fluffed up blue hair and green eyes. Also has a snake's tounge and a long lizard-like tail.
Clothing: A unzipped loose white jacket and shorts. They a hole for their tail and often wear a seaweed necklace with a dragon's tooth attached, as to show how powerful they are.
Weapons: A rapid firing bow
Abilities: Transforming into water, simply disappearing to the naked eye, to make rain.
Weaknesses: Their water transformation takes a while, leaving them undefended. You can still hear and smell and feel them when they disappear. Also rubbing your eyes will fade the illusion of disappearing. Their rain is strong, yet all it will do is make you wet, Moon is not strong enough to add lightning into the storm. When they do, they're also paralyzed by their own powers. Is weak to lightning as they are not strong enough for it yet.
Personality: Sneaky, sly, likes to make sudden pranks.
Other: When in trouble, tilts their head and say, "Really?"

Weapons: She carries a set of seemingly infinite daggers, and she is able to throw them with grace and precision.
Abilities: Mina has the ability to manipulate water. She is also extremely agile, able to dodge a bullet without batting an eye.
Weaknesses: Despite her superhuman agility, she can easily get tired from it. Water manipulation obviously needs any form of water to work. (She can in theory manipulate anything involving water)
Personality: Mina is very loud and extroverted. She thinks so highly of herself and Claire, as the two are extremely close.
Because of her speed, she taunts anyone who tries to attack her.
Other: Yes, Mina and Claire are together. Stop asking.

Weaknesses: She can't regenerate parts if they are not gone, completely gone. I mean like mashed up. Her shock absorb is from her tail, so if her tail is even a little hurt, it won't work. Can't use her powers in dark. You may think she's not killable, but you were very wrong. She can be killed.

His connections can only happen when he is feeling strong emotions, and can change his feeling, as well. His shock absorb is from her tail, so if her tail is even a little hurt, it won't work. Can't use her powers in dark. You may think he's not killable, but you were very wrong. He can be killed. He's also prone to revealing Dove when she's trying to hide/be unnoticed.
Personality: Sly, likes to tease. Also crazy clumsy.

Species: A near-hivemind of countless of tortured souls
Appearance: A never-ending swirling fog of dark matter with mass. Can shift into a humanoid with light gray skin, black hair, and dark purple eyes, and is named Obsidian.
Often times appear with broken bat wings.
Clothing: Will draw this.
Weapons: Obsidian carries the Soul Reaper, their own Relic that doesn't seem to have any relations with the other six.
Abilities: Obsidian has the ability of shapeshifting, powerful strength, agility due to having no actual weight, and mind control.
Weaknesses: As Obsidian is a hivemind and not their own singular person, the conflicts of the numerous amounts of tortured souls can easily break free of this mind control, and Obsidian themselves
Personality: Obsidian is the embodiment of chaotic evil. They don't understand emotions other than fear and anger. They are a hivemind of many tortured souls that follow their every whim, and this can lead to their breakdown.
Obsidian's mind control is only limited to the souls they are made out of,
