Hi! So I'm wanting to write for the description contests, but do not specialize in that type of writing. Does anyone have any tips of how to do it well? What seems to work for you? Any backups that help you? Any and all answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!! 😊

@jlya

Be creative! Read the suggestions for a good submission. I like writing (typing) whatever comes in my head.

@jlya

I usually only write descriotions for my creatures I suggest, as it is easier cause I made it with specific things in mind. XD

However, in the case of writing for the CDWC, I'd suggest the following:
- think of what the creature would be made of. Is it chocolate based, water based or just a normal animal?
- think about what the theme is, think of ideas around that topic
- What animal is it based on? what are some characteristics/things that animal has/do?
- Try to put yourself in the creatures point of view (do this after the other things). If you where that animal made out of what you are, what would you want to do? what might you care about? how might you interact with other creatures?

Hope this helps! 😃
