However, the bunny's tail was so fluffy it got caught in the wolf's throat on the way down and to avoid choking the wolf had no choice but to cough the rabbit back up and go off to find his next meal somewhere else.

Another den of fox-wolf monsters dwell nearby, they smelt the scent of a young juicy rabbit. Their eyes gleamed. Food! They said. Food for my stomach! And thus the hunt began for that one rabbit, who ended up in the mother monster's belly.

But the monster had swallowed the rabbit whole and the rabbit used its buckteeth to chew its way out of her stomach, then ran away.

The lava monster engulfed the rabbit, seeing it flee, and burnt it to death. The end.

But the end means the new beginning of another story. The rabbit could never be killed, so the god mods gave up and left the universe. Allowing the bunny to wreak havoc on this planet, taking revenge on all its inhabitants by drowning everything.
The bunny thus became Poseidon the Rabbit.

Poseidon the rabbit that somehow remained dead for a while lived become the silly Zeus forgot that water is a conductor for electricity and caused the rabbit to reform as a normal bunny on the seaside shore.

But Rabbit fell from the clouds into the deep, deep, sea, and a sea monster locked him up in a cage to eat him for dinner.

Up the surface a polka dot elephant fell from the sky, flattening the poor rabbit.

However the rabbit couldn't actually be flattened as it was in water, and the elephant was very kind.
He let Rabbit hop onto his back and brought him to shore. Rabbit and Ellifant (that's his name) became good friends. Then they went to Hawaii for a nice trip.

Ahhh! You took them to Hawaii? No fair!
A volcano that lied dormant for the past few decades decided this was the time to let loose.
Magma came rushing towards the relaxing two and killed them both.

Then they became revived as deadly magma monsters!!!
They were still nice though, and wouldn't hurt anyone. So they headed back to the sea and washed off the magma stuff and returned to the beach to continue relaxing.

But when they went to the beach, everyone was so scared that they chased them away into the water with pitchforks and flaming torches. They were stuck out at sea and eaten by a sea monster.

But the sea monster had a stomachache because the two poor creatures were too hot for its cold tummy. The sea monster barfed them out, apologised, and blessed them both so they became immortal. The blessing was given and it could not be broken.

Instead of breaking the blessing, another blessing of mortality was wished upon the rabbit by an on-looking siren on a rock island watching bemusedly from afar. Thus the original immortality blessing was blessed over (logic) and the pesty rabbit was made mortal again. The siren, using her gorgeous voice started singing, coaxing the stupid but oh so lucky rabbit closer (someone else decide what happens to the annoying thing)

The rabbit was lured in by her soprano voice, and swam closer and closer, into a whirlpool. It was tangled into seaweed and drowned.

Saving.. the dead rabbit
A magical whirlpool it was, instead of actually drowning the rabbit, it gave the rabbit an unending source of oxygen, thus the merbunny / merabbit was born.

But then, seemingly out of nowhere, a shark with a taste for merabbits saw the merabbit and started to chase it!

The shark chased the merarabbit but the Merarabbit was able to find a hole to hide in that was to small for the shark to get into.

The shark started to break the rocks around the existing hole to make the hole bigger so that it could actuallly get to the rabbit.

The rocks from the hole fell off and and bashed the shark on the nose, allowing the merrabbit to escape. It swam through the sea and found a while civilization of merrabbits.

Unbeknownst to the merrabbit, this group of merrabbits are cannabalistic and were planning to eat the newcomer once it fell asleep...not sure why my mind went here but oh well

The cannibalistic merrabbits were vegetarian so they didn't eat him but they sent him to be eaten by their leader but the merrabbit escaped and went back to the surface.

Unfortunately, the merrabbit was still part mermaid so it couldn't breathe on land and as a result, started to suffocate

I wish I could get to save the rabbit at some point

Then the merrabbit remembered that actually only half of it was mermaid. As soon as it realized this it was able to breathe properly again. It then used its new-found breath to ask a nearby guinea pig what the time was. As it was lunchtime, the rabbit ate some plants that happened to be magical and gave it absolute immortality, so it could never die. At all. Ever. The end.
