Will we be informed that our bid is too low/ being rejected before the auction ends? That way we have the chance to correct it?

Yes, mami can reject any bids that are too low, even if they are minimum bids.

You will be informed after the auction ends unfortunately, but you can offer more in order to obtain the creature, at the discretion of mami.

The issue with trying to fix bids before the auction ends is the sniping. The last 10-15 minutes of an auction can get incredibly fast paced, that even if a bid is corrected to be more acceptable, someone may still offer more.

Is there any type of snipe guard in place? There is nothing more annoying than having top bid the whole auction it to get sniped at the last possible second.

No, there is no sniping guard in place, there was not with the last one either. + no editing posts, I usually stay on the page once midnight hits to enter all bids and refresh from there. If any bids changed during the time I was editing, I immediately kick them out of the auction.
