Hello! Quick disclaimer before you look at my creature: I messed up the star's shine on the second stage, and there's a weird circle on the egg, so just ignore those mistakes please lol

★THE DELAYNEN★

About the egg

When a star dies, the supernova explosion leaves debris in the surrounding area in space. In certain cases, this debris can form an egg known as a Delaynen egg. The egg itself looks like solid aluminum, but is squishy to the touch. It is burning hot with a metallic smell coming off of it, likely the result of a new star brewing inside of it.

About the creatures

Delaynens are very playful creatures. Groups of them are bountiful around space, floating from to different abandoned planets and playing games. They each have a little star growing on their tail, and fragments of the previous star trapped in their fur. As they grow older, their tail star gets bigger and bigger until it eventually breaks off in adulthood. The now full-grown Delaynen will show its star to others as a sign of friendship. Together, clusters of them will make constellations up in the night sky--so when you look up at night, just know that a little lion is sharing its friendship with you.

It's adorable!! 😸. I think I like the baby stage the best but I like how it changes color as it ages similar to stars as they get older! The description is also really unique and cute!❤️.

Oooh nice! I especially like the egg description and the colour progression as the stages change x)

*It might be a good idea to try and get all the stages in one pic if possible though, just bc of the pinned topic that says it's better to keep all the stages in one image since its harder for EC to keep track of multiple images per suggestion 😊 But if you can't then no worries! I doubt EC would turn down a good suggestion just bc its got 4 images instead of 1 pftaha
