Dia bit her lip, “Huh, okay. Well, do we need to tell anyone? Why’s there a wolf in the forest? I didn’t know we had them here.”

Dia nodded and rubbed her eyes. “How did you get away from it? People cant run faster than wolves.”She said.

Dia laughed and shook her head, “I still don’t think you’d be faster Sabina!”She smiled.“Did it retreat then?”

Dia nodded, “Okay, well, its not really safe to go back in there. I hope that guy in the den is okay.”She said, vaguely remembering why they were there in the first place.

(Okay!)Dia barely heard Sabina, as all her concentration was directed towards remembering the wolf. She walked back towards the forest to find the homeless guy she remembered.

Nobu sighed, drumming his fingers against the wooden counter of the pet store he worked at. It was a pretty boring shift. (Not that he didn't like working here, it was just, well, not very eventful.) He decided it'd be best to check his phone for some updates, it'd been awhile since GENEtech contacted him about that 'weird shapeshifting cryptid thingy' he saw the other day. They didn't really give out much information though, just that if Nobu ever saw that again he should get in touch with them immediately since they were a rescue group or something for those creatures. (And he would never turn down an opportunity to save animals...or whatever those were.) Lowering his phone, he walked up to the hamster cages, determined to at least get some cute shots of the little animals for his own personal collection.

Dia woke up and looked around, she was in an unfamiliar place and rubbed her eyes. She was in the den that she and Sabina found! She squealed when she say Tyler reading in the corner.Tyler looked up, “Hey. Its okay. You passed out last night so I brought you here to rest.”He explained, hoping she wouldn’t remember what happened and attack him like her friend did.“Anyway, why did you come here?”He asked.

Dia stayed put and looked at him, “Who are you? Why do you live in the forest?”She asked, feeling strangely safe where she was.Tyler shook his head, “I left home, gave my parents a fake address and headed out here to be free.”He said, slowly.

Dia looked quickly to the side as she heard Sabina.“That’s my friend, come meet her! School doesn’t start for a while! Dia frowned and scratched at Tyler’s hands, but his grip was too tight.Tyler held tighter, “Shhh, me and that Sabina aren’t friends. Be quiet!”

Startled by the sudden movement outside the store, Nobu hurried back to the counter, setting his phone back down. Customers could be coming and he didn't want to look like he was slacking off. (He'd show his boyfriend the cute hamsters later.)

Tyler blinked at her, and quickly looked at Dia, then retreated to the corner of the den, he didn’t know what to do but to stare at the small branch and hope Sabina wouldn’t swing it at him.
