Comment disappears - "The text may not be greater than 280 characters."

Why did it nuke the message irreversibly?! OK, too long, you're not happy - give me a chance to rectify the problem, no?

Because the counter at the bottom said 279/280. And it took me a while to make it so, since the comment wasn't a simple "Ooh, cool!" Re-creating it is non-trivial and very frustrating.

I finally ran into what you're talking about and it is frustrating for sure.

For me it happed when I didn't know that a title also had to be added to a poll as well as on a thread. Typed up a whole long post, decided to add a poll for the fun of it. Whole post *poof!* gone. -_-

(Though I think this is more of a 'Site Feedback' matter, and not a 'Bug'.)
