Earth Day is our time to help replenish and flourish,
Ripples can make waves, your effort forever maintains

Never done this before - fun but challenging lol. I tried the double acrostic and unconventionally adding a message with the words at the end of each line. Thanks for reading.

Never knowing where they came from
It is all but a wonder
Could you ever dream
Of owning one of these pretty creatures where
Rainbows show up every day
Nights are filled with the

Dreams of maybe seeing
A unicorn, or petting one

Needing some more sweets, without them this day is for naught
Agenda full of fun, toss away any signs of work
Tasting all the new flavors before they are sold out
Ingenious idea, of a day filled with licorice
Obstacles stand in your way, think of the licorice and only the licorice
Never stopping for a rest, continue stuffing yourself with more
Always remember to share a sweet bit of licorice
Laughing as you prance, cause trouble, and eat

Little do you know, just how fast this day will pass!
In the blink of an eye, it will already be tomorrow
Craving this day once more, you’ll have to wait ‘til next year
Orderly preparing, as you can not wait
Raiding the stores, just for this day
It’s the next year, time has flown
Certainly you will be wiser, as to use this day to your advantage!
Even though others would do so too

Dusk has come again, ready to put you to sleep
Already, once again, this day has passed once more
Year after year, you continue to stuff yourself with licorice on this glorious day!

I have not decided what the prizes are going to be as of yet. I'm sure it will be CC awards.
I was hoping for a special creature, but haven't really gotten any extra recently.
I was thinking "Leaf of Vaka" as a grand prize ... that equals 500 cc ... Still have a few weeks.

Always hiding their Easter eggs for yo U
Silently Enshrouding itself before daw N
Truly astounding to the young childre N
Eggs filled with goodies, and a stick Y

@novrain62 A very last minute entry. This is a festival also known as "Tomb Sweeping Day". It is similar to "Old Soul's Day" in the western world. As Taoists, we bring joss paper (ming bi), paper offerings and food. The food is first offered to the ancestors as a token then later consumed.

Quadruple the relatives,
It's time for cleaning!
Never mind the chrysanthemums,
Go get the "ming bi"!

Mourn for those who have passed,
In memory we commemorate,
Nephew, niece, aunt, uncle,
Gladly we kowtow to our ancestors.
