How often does the VEND Machine change?

Hey y’all! I haven’t been playing for that long. For any seasoned players, how often does the VEND Machine change out the reward pools? The FAQ just says that it can happen whenever. How often do the prize pets change?

There is no set schedule for the VEND machine. It changes whenever we feel like changing it.

And on that note from OC...

One of my friends now has a strategy of saving up enough tokens for at least three attempts each time it switches over. When they first started they had almost enough tokens saved up and a lot got retired before they could get the one they wanted from the VEND.

(I keep being nervous it'll switch over before I've had a chance to get the two I want. And for some reason the price for trading for one of them skyrocketed in the past month.)
