Sloooooow site

Lagging between slow, slower and halt. What's going on?! No, not my computer, every other site works fine.

Maybe it is because many people are logging on at once but it’s working fine for me most of the time, I go on my phone or computer. Or maybe you have to many tabs open because it gets slower if I have more than 3 tabs open. @suzanab

Same!! Not so much on my personal computer, but my chromebook. Eggcave takes FOREVER to load on there even if I wanna just feed and click through the tabs. I use the arrows to feed but some use the command W and it still loads suuuuuuuper slow when i try that. Ive timed myself, Chromebook= ~30min-1 hour to feed my cove and on my personal laptop= ~2-5 minutes if i speedfeed, normally if im not speedfeeding its around 10mins, lol thats why i never use my chromebook

My chromebook actually works fine with everything else, it just cant handle eggcave for some reason i guess?

My Chromebook works just fine :/
just sometimes, after clicking the feed button it wont load-
And sometimes, random error requests (I didn't log out)

Nahh ive seen you on your chromebook feeding in school , its still slow but faster than mine. Like sometimes I swear ur chromebook going one page per minute idk how you feed on that

and i think the random error requests are normal (?) cause ive been getting them since forever lol

I don't have a Chromebook, but I do use the Chrome browser on my laptop and I definitely notice significant lag here at times. Usually late at night (for me, I'm 3 hours behind EC-time) it starts lagging and taking forever to load the next feed page and sometimes it gives me the broken-image icon instead of the creature's image. I have no idea how much lag is normal for this site though.

Well, after reading here, I'm sorry but also somewhat selfishly happy it doesn't happen just to me 😃 Hopefully someone will do something about it, feeding is a burden! Takes ages!

I haven't noticed much lag recently myself. Maybe some rare-ish, minuscule moments here and there (i.e. it's mostly just a few seconds more to load at most), but I think that's on my end since it's not always exclusive to EC. I'm usually more active during the site's early morning hours, so maybe that's one reason why.

Every so often I do notice some broken images here and there, but a refresh always completely fixes them for me.

(Then again, I didn't really notice lag when I randomly check stuff or feed during the site's afternoon / evening hours either. Maybe I'm just lucky.)
