Christmas probably. I didn't used to like it but it's grown on me over the years.

Christmas, mainly because there's always hope (no matter how slight) that it might snow

Of the ones that show up on standard printed calendars (keeping it there or this list would be LONG)used to be Halloween, Arbor Day, Emancipation Day. (I know I was a weird kid. Don't get me wrong, I loved Christmas, but I wasn't *passionate* about it either.) Pretty sure Thanksgiving was high up there. Now I'd probably say Arbor Day and Boxing Day (not that it's observed in my country... I just think it's a really awesome idea! The closest I've come is my Post-Christmas Friends Re-gift Exchange - SO fun! but definitely not the same thing. Not even dropping stuff off to the local free-to-anyone donation boxes.)And the Winter Solstice. (but it's more of a way of life to me than what most would probably consider a "holiday".)One of the holidays I most want to experience is Diwali.(Like not just the festival, but I'd want to live with a few different families in India for a while so I could get a better sense of the nuances that just reading about it may not pick up.)(Kind of like how Christmas magic is bast captured in making memories with family and it's not really about stuff. You can watch it in movies, but it's not the same as living it.Like when I used to vacation I didn't visit the big popular touristy attractions, but we visited local mom n pop shops and hung out with the locals - doing local things. Some things might seems so mundane, and like they could be done at home... but it made for lasting memories, and each location is just a little bit different and special in its own way.)

Christmas, I just love the peaceful feeling it gives you.

Definitely Halloween, as much as I procrastinate making my own costume, I love seeing other people's ideas for how to dress up and their creativity! Also it's an excuse to eat candy of course.

Christmas, especially when there's snow on the ground. It just feels more magical that way

My birthday is New Year's Eve, and the entire week of Christmas to New Year's Day is my favorite "holiday" that I always make sure to pack full of celebration.

NYE used to be my fav because the aspect of starting over fresh is so appealing! but i gotta go with another vote for halloween. not many opportunities to dress up when youre an adult. we go to all of the festivals at that time of year and take the kiddos to a halloween store. our traditions include pumpkin picking, parades, carnival hayrides, and this year past i even ghosthunted at a haunted battlefield near me! sometimes we get lucky enough to take the kids trick or treating. i actually got married on the last blue full moon on halloween ❤️ it also means fall is here and winter is coming ^-^
