Quest timer is wack

Hello y'all!

The text when you're on a quest page is says that you'll have 12 hours to complete a quest, but when you accept the quest and start looking for the items, you actually only have 11 hours. I forgot to get a screenshot but it's very repeatable.

doesn't the timer start counting something like 11:59:59?

I was going to agree with @stormwarden , but went to test it.

My Gourmand Quest timer started at 10 hours, 59 minutes , 59 seconds. So 11 hours. (Not sure how to take screen shots though)

Never noticed it before, but never really paid any attention either as I like to either do the quest in minutes or cancel it.

Wow. My jaw won't close lol. All this time... we've been skimped out one hour?! We need compensation! Jk.

I also complete quests within the first minute or cancel it. And I also just glaze over it and see the 59 and 59 and always assumed it was 11. XD Dang.

At one point it was 11 hours 59 minutes. I don't know when it switched over but I believe the last time we had quests as a daily everything was normal. So weird!

It recently was 12 hours, it was only just now that I noticed the change. I did some major questing like a month or two ago and I'm certain I would have noticed it at that time if it had been only 11 hours.

Random thought.....

Is daylight savings ending or starting in America in the next 12 hours?

(Just remember seeing something in regards to it in my country, but my state doesn't do daylight savings so I don't really keep track here, never mind on the other side of the world.)

Thanks for confirming that. I can now prepare for a change in when EC's timings will roll over in regard to my time. And I need to keep an eye on another site to see if their dailies time changes.

I've said it before, time zones are confusing, and daylight savings just ups the difficulty.

Aw dang, that means Eggcave-midnight will be an hour earlier for me (10pm my-time now, 9pm after the switch). I never think about daylight savings until I remember things like game-times hanging, we don't mess with that stuff here in Arizona! 😋
