Just joined this game don't know what's going on. Named my first egg something stupid in hopes i could change it later but nope, you can't. This is like neopets all over again ☹️

and scroll down to the creature you want to rename,
click the pencil and box icon and rename the creature)

You can actually rename your creatures through the "My Creatures" list on the menu, then you click the square-and-pencil icon amongst other icons below a creature's stats : )

@slugcatpotatoes - Welcome to Egg Cave! Feel free to ask around if you have any questions.

You can change your creatures' name as often as you'd like, but it costs 1,000EC each time. To change it, go to your "Your Creatures" page (click the [amount] Creatures box in the sidebar, or click this) and then click the icon that looks like a pencil and paper under the creature.

Welcome to Eggcave! It does cost 1,000 ec (eggcoins) to rename a creature, thought I should point that out. But you can make that much by feeding 10 creatures, which is a very quick and simple way to get ec.
